Influences of fractional separation on the structure and reactivity of wheat straw cellulose for producing 5-hydroxymethylfurfural

High-efficient production of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF),a“sleeping giant”in sustainable chemistry,from cellulose depends significantly on the effective separation of cellulose from lignocellulosic ***,we report the fractional separation of wheat straw cellulose(WSC)from wheat straw under solvothermal conditions using a mixed solvent of γ-valerolactone(GVL)and H_(2)O as the separating solvent,wherein the impacts of fractional separation parameters(solvent composition,temperature,and time)on removals of lignin and hemicellulose as well as purity and recovery of cellulose were studied by a Box-Behnken Design of response surface *** optimization of the solvothermal parameters enabled an optimal fractional separation condition(V_(GVL):~60.0%,T:205℃,t:~1.7 h)that led to a higher purity(89.4%)and recovery(86.7%)of cellulose in WSC.A further correlation of the removals of lignin and hemicellulose as well as purity and recovery of cellulose with the yield of HMF excluded an independent influence of the above ***,a comprehensive contribution of high fractional separation efficiency(defined as the product of cellulose purity and recovery)and low crystallinity of WSC was found to improve the HMF ***,the heat-and freeze-dryings of WSC after the solvothermal separation were found to lower the HMF molar yield because it re-improved the crystallinity of WSC.A high HMF molar yield of 58.6%was achieved after reacting wet-WSC in a mixed solvent of 1,4-dioxane and H_(2)O at 180℃for 20 min,which was 1.5 fold higher than that from microcrystalline *** work highlights the importance of enhancing the fractional separation efficiency of cellulose from lignocellulosic biomass while avoiding the drying process for future HMF biorefinery.

An obviously challenging problem in named entity recognition is the construction of the kind data set of *** some research has been conducted on entity database construction,the majority of them are directed at Wikipedia or the minority at structured entities such as people,locations and organizational nouns in the *** paper focuses on the identification of scientific entities in carbonate platforms in English literature,using the example of carbonate platforms in ***,based on the fact that the reasons for writing literature in key disciplines are likely to be provided by multidisciplinary experts,this paper designs a literature content extraction method that allows dealing with complex text ***,based on the literature extraction content,we formalize the entity extraction task(lexicon and lexical-based entity extraction)for entity ***,for testing the accuracy of entity extraction,three currently popular recognition methods are chosen to perform entity detection in this *** show that the entity data set provided by the lexicon and lexical-based entity extraction method is of significant assistance for the named entity recognition *** study presents a pilot study of entity extraction,which involves the use of a complex structure and specialized literature on carbonate platforms in English.

Specific targeting of angiogenesis in lung cancer with RGD-conjugated ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxide particles using a 4.7T magnetic resonance scanner

Background Angiogenesis is an essential step for tumor development and *** cell adhesion molecule αvβ3 integrin plays an important role in angiogenesis and is a specific marker of tumor angiogenesis.A novel αvβ3 integrintargeted magnetic resonance （MR） imaging contrast agent utilizing Arg-Gly-Asp （RGD） and ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxide particles （USPIO）（referred to as RGD-USPIO） was designed and its uptake by endothelial cells was assessed both in vitro and in vivo to evaluate the angiogenic profile of lung *** USPIO were coated with-NH3＋ and conjugated with RGD *** blue staining was performed to evaluate the specific uptake of RGD-USPIO by human umbilical vein endothelial cells （huVECs）.Targeted uptake and subcellular localization of RGD-USPIO in huVECs were confirmed by transmission electron microscopy （TEM）.The ability of RGD-USPIO to noninvasively assess αvβ3 integrin positive vessels in lung adenocarcinoma A549 tumor xenografts was evaluated with a 4.7T MR *** was used to detect αvβ3 integrin expression and vessel distribution in A549 tumor *** huVECs internalized RGD-USPIO significantly more than plain *** uptake of RGD-USPIO by huVECs could be competitively inhibited by addition of free RGD.A significant decrease in T2 signal intensity （SI） was observed at the periphery of A549 tumor xenografts at 30 minutes （P 〈0.05） and 2 hours （P 〈0.01） after RGD-USPIO was injected via the tail *** blood vessels were mainly distributed in the periphery of tumor xenografts with positive αvβ3 integrin *** RGD-USPIO could specifically label αvβ3 integrin and be taken up by *** molecular MR imaging contrast agent can specifically evaluate the angiogenic profile of lung cancer using a 4.7T MR scanner.

B ased on the emission of pulsed spherical acoustic waves from a spherical transducer and their reflection from the inside wall of a concentric spherical shell,the electromechanical reciprocity theorem is applied to derive a reciprocity coefficient for the calibration of a spherical transducer in a spherical acoustic ***,a self-reciprocity calibration method using a closed spherical shell reflector is proposed to obtain the five fundamental electroacoustic parameters of the spherical transducer from a single ***,a conversion factor is given for converting the voltage sensitivity obtained by the current method to the standard sensitivity defined in plane wave *** determine this conversion factor,a method is developed for measuring the scattering coefficient of the *** of a 10-mm-radius spherical transducer was performed in the frequency range 25 kHz to 63 *** results showed that the standard uncertainty of the measured voltage sensitivity was up-bounded by 0.9 dB.

Complex genesis of multiperiod fractures in the Middle Triassic Leikoupo Formation in the Pengzhou gas field, western Sichuan Basin, China

The cumulative expression of multistage deformation is complex multiperiod fractures,which are commonly seen in tectonic *** Middle Triassic Leikoupo Formation in the western Sichuan Basin Depression,China,is a typical marine carbonate reservoir with natural fractures caused mainly by tectonic *** to outcrops,drill cores,image logging,and fluid inclusions,the fracture characteristics,types of natural fractures,and interactions of fractures are *** total,419 natural fractures in 493.2 m of cores from 7 wells are investigated,which are mainly shear and tensile fractures with a small number of weathering generated ***,the results of the stable isotope analysis of δ13C and δ18O,as well as the flow fluid inclusion data,reveal four tectonic periods of fractures with different *** on the history of regional tectonic evolution,indicating one period of weathering fractures ascribable to stratal uplift and three periods of structural fractures related to the sequential tectonic movements of the Longmenshan fault *** analyzing the interaction relationships of fractures,three types of fracture interaction relationships are observed:cutting,restraining,and *** four stages fractures are chronologically assigned to(1)the early Indosinian N-S trending compression,(2)the late Indosinian NW-SE compression,(3)the middle Yanshanian NE-SE compression,and(4)the early Himalayan E-W *** influence of natural fractures on gas migration and well production in marine carbonates is discussed,and indicates that tectonic fractures could provide seepage channels for gas migration and accumulation from near or distant hydrocarbon source rocks into the Middle Triassic Leikoupo *** study utilizes a pragmatic approach for understanding the fracture genesis mechanism in oil and gas field with multiperiod fractures.

The optical waveguide was formed on an LiNbO_(3) substrate by 2.6 MeV nickel ions implantation to the dose of 9×10^(14) ions/cm^(2).Five dark modes were observed by the prism coupling *** refractive index profile was obtained by using the reflectivity calculation method.A large index decrease was found in the guiding region and in the optical barrier,which is somewhat different from that of the LiNbO_(3) waveguide formed by the MeV He+*** position of the optical barrier is deeper than that of the damage peak calculated by TRIM'90(Transport of Ions in Matter)*** crystal lattice damage in the guiding region caused by the Ni+ion implantation was analysed by the Rutherford backscattering/channelling technique.

Effect of temperature on the development of sclerotia in Villosiclava virens

The sclerotia of Villosiclava virens were found commonly in high altitude and the temperate regions, where the temperatures are relatively low in rice filling stage. To make sure if low temperature induce the sclerotial formation in V. virens, the inoculated rice panicles in laboratory and the diseased rice panicles cut from paddy fields were treated under different temperatures. The results showed that 3 days of night temperature at 15°C were enough to induce the sclerotial formation. The low temperature was much more effective for young balls with intact membranes. After appearance of chlamydospores on the ball surfaces, the sclerotium could not differentiate anymore. The sclerotia began to differentiate below the chlamydospore layer and gradually grew onto the ball surfaces. This suggests that low temperature in the early development stage of false smut balls is an important factor to induce the sclerotial differentiation, and rice cultivars with long growth periods are able to produce more sclerotium-bearing balls, which will produce mass of spores in paddy field in the coming year.
