Based on the theory of ecological organization,this paper analyzes the operation mechanism of chemical industry park(CIP)ecosystem by means of dynamic simulation.The research shows that the CIP ecosystem is a complex ecological system whose operation mechanism includes two levels,namely individual enterprises and ecosystem.At the level of individual enterprise,there are competition,symbiosis,invasion and other interactions between enterprises in the CIP ecosystem.Through the pre-determined judgment of the competition effect coefficient and the symbiosis effect coefficient,we calculate how the enterprises influence each other,and then generate their respective operation paths,andfinally realize the long-term balance of the system.At the level of ecosystem,the CIP ecosystem makes self-organizing and self-adaptive adjustments and changes due to the changes of the exter-nal environment in policy,manpower,technology,capital,market,etc.,thus reaching the equilibrium state of coordinated operation and stable symbiosis with the external environment.

Coastal wetlands are located in the ecotone of interaction between the land surface and sea,and anthropogenic activities extensively interfere with these wetlands through the reclamation of large tidal wetlands and destruction of the function of the ecosystems.In this study,we investigated the dynamic evolutionary characteristics of the Bohai Rim coastal area over the past 40 years using the Modified Normalized Difference Water Index,the fractal dimension,object-oriented classification,the land-use transfer trajectory,and regression analysis.Additionally,we quantified and monitored the evolution of reclamation and analyzed the correlation between reclamation and coastal wetlands based on 99 Landsat-2,-5,and-8 images(at 60 m and 30 m spatial resolution) over the period 1980–2019.The results are as follows.(1) The coastline of the Bohai Rim increased by 1 631.2 km from 1980 to2019 with a zigzag variation.The artificial coastline increased by 2 946.1 km,whereas the natural coastline decreased by 90%.(2) The area of man-made wetlands increased by 3 736.9 km~2,the area of construction land increased by 1 008.4 km~2,and the natural wetland area decreased by 66%.The decrease of tidal flats is the main contributor to the decrease of natural wetland area(takes account for 91.1%).Coastal areas are affected by intense human disturbance,which was taken place across a large area of tidal flats and caused the landscape to fragment and be more heterogeneous.The coastal zone development activities were primarily concentrated in the southern Laizhou Bay,the Yellow River Delta,the Bohai Bay,the northern Liaodong Bay,and the Pulandian Bay.The solidified shorelines and increase in sea level have resulted in intertidal wetlands decreasing and impaired wetland ecology.(3) There is a good agreement between reclamation and the size of the coastal wetlands.Both land reclamation and the reduction in coastal wetland areas are significantly related to the population size,fishery output value,and urbanization rate.In summary,human activities

Exploring low-cost,high-performance,and stable electrocatalysts toward the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is highly desired but remains challenging.Transition metal hydroxide has been wildly utilized as a promising candidate,but practical implementation is impeded by insufficient catalytic activity,easy agglomeration,and poor conductivity.Here,we report that both phosphorization and combination with MXnene can improve the catalysts’intrinsic activity and conductivity.Besides,MXene also prevents the agglomeration of the nanoparticles,resulting in the enhanced exposure of active sites.Experimental char-acterizing and density functional theory simulations revealed that P species can attract electrons to pro-mote the formation of high-valence states of adjacent metal atoms,and coupling MXene support can effectively modulate the electronic structure and optimize the d-band center,which boosts the OER per-formance.Consequently,the optimized NiFeCoP/Mxene catalyst exhibits a low overpotential of 240 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm^(−2),a small Tafel slope of 55 mV dec^(−1),and superior long-term stability of 40 h in 1 M KOH electrolyte,which is superior to other counterparts.

Silicon/carbon composites are promising alternatives to current graphite anodes in commercial lithiumion batteries(LIBs)because of their high capacity and excellent safety.Nevertheless,the unsatisfactory fastcharging capability and cycle stability of Si/C composites caused by slow charge transport capability and huge volume change under industrial electrode conditions severely hamper their development.Here,a novel Si/C anode was fabricated by homogeneously depositing amorphous C-Si nanolayers on graphite(C-Si@graphite).C-Si nanolayers with uniformly dispersed sub-nanometer Si particles in 3D carbon skeleton significantly boost electron and Li-ion transport and efficiently relieve Si's agglomeration and volume change.As a result,the tailored C-Si@graphite electrodes show an excellent rate capacity(760.3 mAh·g^(-1)at 5.0C)and long cycle life of over 1000 cycles at 1.0C and800 cycles at 2.0C under industrial electrode conditions.In addition,the assembled full cells(C-Si@graphite,anode;Li[Ni_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)]O_(2),cathode)present superior fastcharging capability(240.4 Wh·kg^(-1),charging for16.2 min,3.0C)and long cycle life(80.7%capacity retention after 500 cycles at 1.0C),demonstrating the massive potential of C-Si@graphite for practical application.

Estimation of solid concentration in solid-liquid two-phase flow in horizontal pipeline using inverse-problem approach

In this study,an inverse-problem method was applied to estimate the solid concentration in a solid-liquid two-phase flow.An algebraic slip mixture model was introduced to solve the forward problem of solid-liquid convective heat transfer.The time-average conservation equations of mass,momentum,energy,as well as the volume fraction equation were computed in a computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation.The solid concentration in the CFD model was controlled using an external program that included the inversion iteration,and an optimal estimation was performed via experimental measurements.Experiments using a fly-ash-water mixture and sand-water mixture with different solid concentrations in a horizontal pipeline were conducted to verify the accuracy of the inverse-problem method.The estimated results were rectified using a method based on the relationship between the estimated results and estimation error;consequently,the accuracy of the corrected inversion results improved significantly.After a verification through experiments,the inverse-problem method was concluded to be feasible for predicting the solid concentration,as the estimation error of the corrected results was within 7%for all experimental samples for a solid concentration of less than 50%.The inverse-problem method is expected to provide accurate predictions of the solid concentration in solid-liquid two-phase flow systems.

Alcohol liver disease(ALD)has become a global threat to human health.It is associated with a wide range of liver diseases including alcohol fatty liver,steatosis,fibrosis and cirrhosis,and finally leads to liver cancer and even death.Centranthera grandiflora is a traditional Chinese medicinal herb commonly used to treat ALD,but no research about its mechanism is available.This study evaluated the hepatoprotective effect and mechanism of C.grandiflora against alcohol-induced liver injury in mice.We found that the ethanol extracts of C.grandiflora(CgW)alleviated the alcohol-induced liver injury,enhanced the levels of antioxidant enzymes,and reduced the amount of lipid peroxides.CgW also affected cell apoptosis by inhibiting the activity of Bax,cleaved-caspase 3 and cleaved-caspase 9,and increasing the activity of Bcl-2.In conclusion,the results showed that CgW can effectively improve ALD through alleviating oxidative stress and inhibiting cell apoptosis for the first time.This study suggested that C.grandiflora is a promising herbal medicine for ALD treatment.

Acupoint catgut embedding versus acupuncture for simple obesity:a systematic review and Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of acupoint catgut embedding and acupuncture on simple obesity by Meta-analysis. METHODS: Studies on clinical randomized controlled trials of acupoint catgut embedding for simple obesity which were published from January 2015 to November 2020 were searched in Cochrane Central Register of Control Trials(Central), Pub Med, China Science and Technology Journal Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database and Wanfang databases. And those that met the inclusion criteria were screened. Rev Man5.3 was used for Meta-analysis. The “Risk of Bias” tool was used to evaluate the quality of included studies. R studio software was used for the measurement of publication bias. RESULTS: A total of 33 studies were included for Metaanalysis, including 2685 patients with simple obesity. Meta-analysis results showed the comparison of effectiveness rate was relative risk(RR) = 1.12, 95%CI(1.08, 1.16), body mass index(BMI) was mean difference(MD) =-1.12, 95%CI(-2.09,-0.14), waist circumference was MD =-2.14, 95%CI(-4.22,-0.06), and body mass was MD =-2.36, 95%CI(-3.99,-0.73). On the basis of diet and exercise intervention, the effectiveness rate [RR = 1.12, 95%CI(1.05, 1.19)], BMI [MD =-0.88, 95%CI(-1.35,-0.40)], waist circumference [MD =-1.10, 95%CI(-4.27, 2.07)], and body mass [MD =-0.68, 95%CI(-2.90, 1.54)]. The risk of bias of included literatures was low. CONCLUSIONS: Acupoint catgut embedding therapy was slightly better than acupuncture therapy in most of the outcomes. Moreover, the treatment frequency of acupoint catgut embedding is less with larger stimulation intensity, which is more conducive to clinical promotion.

Geochronology and geochemistry of Permo-Triassic sandstones in eastern Jilin Province(NE China): Implications for final closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean

In the eastern part of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB) in northeastern(NE) China, scattered outcrops of molasse deposits mark the ending of an orogeny and are crucial for understanding the evolution of the Paleo-Asian Ocean(PAO). However, the timing of tectonic events and the relationships among these strata remain controversial. To better constrain these geologic events, a comprehensive study of the detrital zircon U-Pb geochronology and geochemistry of the sandstones of the Kaishantun(KST) Formation and Kedao(KD) Group in eastern Jilin Province, NE China, was conducted. The KST Formation is traditionally considered a molasse deposit. The sandstones display low CIA, PIA and high ICV values and low Th/U and Rb/Sr ratios, which suggest that the rocks were derived from an immature intermediate-felsic igneous source and experienced a simple sedimentary recycling history with relatively weak chemical weathering. LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of detrital zircons from two samples of the KST Formation yields ages of 748-252 Ma, suggesting that the KST Formation was deposited between 254.5 Ma and 252 Ma in Late Permian. The zircons were mainly derived from the continental northern part of the North China Craton(NCC). In contrast, the U-Pb dating of detrital zircons from five samples of the KD Group yields ages of 2611-230 Ma, suggesting that the KD samples were deposited in the Early to Middle Triassic(ca. 248-233 Ma). The detrital zircon ages for the KD samples can be divided into groups with peaks at 2.5 Ga, 1.8 Ga, 800-1000 Ma, 500 Ma and 440-360 Ma, which suggest that the samples were derived from bidirectional provenances in the Jiamusi-Khanka Block and the NCC. These new data,combined with previously published results, suggest that at least three orogenic events occurred in central-eastern Jilin Province during the Early Permian(270-262 Ma), Early Triassic(254-248 Ma) and Middle-Late Triassic(242-227 Ma). Will the State-owned Capital Transfer Policy Enhance the Sustainability of the Urban Employee Basic Pension Insurance Fund in China?

To analyze the efect of the state-owned capital transfer policy on the sustainability of China's urban employee basic pension insurance fund(CUEBPIF),this study develops an actuarial model for pension insurance.The results reveal the following:(i)Without policy intervention,the CUEBPIF would face a deficit in 2027 and a cumulative shortfall of RMB207.44 trillion by 2050,and the proportion of fiscal subsidies for the CUEBPIF in the total fiscal expenditure would increase to 12.86 percent in 2050.(i)Based on a delayed retirement policy,the transfer of 10 percent of state-owned capital can delay the onset of the fund deficit by 6 years,and the accumulated shortfall in 2050 would fall to RMB39.42 trillion,and the proportion of fiscal subsidies would decrease by I1.77 percentage points.(ii)The state-owned capital transfer policy can improve the sustainability of the CUEBPIF and reduce the burden of enterprise social security contributions when the transfer ratio increases to 20 percent.
