Evaluation of the effects of health education interventions for hypertensive patients based on the health belief model

The BL07U beamline is a new extreme ultraviolet and soft X-ray beamline housed in the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility. Beamlines are used in nano-resolved angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(nano-ARPES), spin-resolved angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(spin-ARPES), X-ray magnetic circular dichroism spectroscopy, and X-ray magnetic linear dichroism spectroscopy for certain scientific research. The BL07U beamline, which is based on a pair of elliptical polarized undulators and a variable-included-angle plane-grating monochromator, delivers circularly or linear polarized X-rays within the energy range of 50–2000 eV. The beamline features two branches: One dedicated to nano-ARPES,which has a minimum spot size of only ~ 200 nm, and another branch comprising spin-ARPES, a vector magnetic field, and superconductive magnetic end-station.

NRGA1, a Putative Mitochondrial Pyruvate Carrier, Mediates ABA Regulation of Guard Cell Ion Channels and Drought Stress Responses in Arabidopsis

Abscisic acid （ABA） regulates ion channel activity and stomatal movements in response to drought and other stresses. Here, we show that the Arabidopsis thaliana gene NRGA1 is a putative mitochondrial pyruvate carrier which negatively regulates ABA-induced guard cell signaling. NRGA1 transcript was abundant in the A. thaliana leaf and par- ticularly in the guard cells, and its product was directed to the mitochondria. The heterologous co-expression of NRGA1 and AtMPC1 in yeast complemented a loss-of-function mitochondrial pyruvate carrier （MPC） mutant. The nrgal loss-of- function mutant was very sensitive to the presence of ABA in the context of stomatal movements, and exhibited a height- ened tolerance to drought stress. Disruption of NRGA1 gene resulted in increased ABA inhibition of inward K＋ currents and ABA activation of slow anion currents in guard cells. The nrgal/NRGA1 functional complementation lines restored the mutant＇s phenotypes. Furthermore, transgenic lines of constitutively overexpressing NRGA1 showed opposite stomatal responses, reduced drought tolerance, and ABA sensitivity of guard cell inward K＋ channel inhibition and anion channel activation. Our findings highlight a putative role for the mitochondrial pyruvate carrier in guard cell ABA signaling in response to drought.

Pyrene Derivate Functionalized with Acetylene for Organic Field Effect Transistors

A new X-shaped compound (SiPy) functionalized with acetylene bonds in the 1-, 3-, 6-, and 8-positions of the pyrene core has been synthesized by Sonogashira coupling reactions. Its photophysical, thermal, and organic field effect transistor (OFET) properties as well as the film morphologies have been investigated. SiPy exhibits high stability which is evidenced by thermal gravimetric analysis. The atomic force microscopy images reveal that the morphology of thin films depends on the substrate temperature. The film OFET devices based on SiPy were constructed and exhibited p-type performances.

In this paper,we discuss the related properties of some particular derivations in semihoops and give some characterizations of ***,we prove that every Heyting algebra is isomorphic to the algebra of all multiplicative derivations and show that every Boolean algebra is isomorphic to the algebra of all implicative ***,we show that the sets of multiplicative and implicative derivations on bounded regular idempotent semihoops are in oneto-one correspondence.

Laparoscopic liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma complicated with significant portal hypertension:A propensity score-matched survival analysis

Background: Significant portal hypertension(SPH) is a relative contraindication for patients with resectable hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). However, increasing evidence indicates that liver resection is feasible for HCC patients with SPH. Methods: HCC patients with cirrhosis who underwent laparoscopic liver resection(LLR) in two centers from January 2013 to April 2018 were included. Surgical and survival outcomes were analyzed to explore potential prognostic factors. Propensity score matching(PSM) analysis was performed to minimize bias. Results: A total of 165 patients were divided into two groups based on the presence(SPH, n = 76) or absence(non-SPH, n = 89) of SPH. Patients in the SPH group had longer operative time, more blood loss, and more advanced TNM stage than patients in the non-SPH group( P 0.05). After PSM, alpha-fetoprotein(AFP) ≥ 400 μg/L [hazard ratio(HR) = 4.71, 95% confidence interval(CI): 2.69-8.25], ascites(HR = 2.18, 95% CI: 1.30-3.66), American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA) classification(Ⅲ vs. Ⅱ)(HR = 2.13, 95% CI: 1.11-4.07) and tumor diameter > 5 cm(HR = 3.91, 95% CI: 2.02-7.56) independently predicted worse OS. Conclusions: LLR for patients with HCC complicated with SPH appears feasible at the price of increasing operative time and blood loss. A Retrospective Study of 1526 Cases of Transcatheter Occlusion of Patent Ductus Arteriosus

Background： Patent ductus arteriosus （PDA） is one of the most common congenital heart diseases and began to get treated by transcatheter occlusion since 1997 in China. Since then, several devices have been invented for occluding PDA. This study aimed to evaluate the technical feasibility, safety, and efficacy of transcatheter occlusion of PDA with different devices. Methods： One thousand five hundred and twenty-six patients （537 boys, 989 girls） with PDA from January 1997 to September 2014 underwent descending aortogram and transcatheter occlusion procedure. We retrospectively analyzed data of these patients, including gender, age, weight, size and morphology of PDA, and devices used in transcatheter occlusion, outcomes, and postoperational complications. Results： Median age and median weight were 4.0 years （range： 0.3 5-2.0 years old） and 15.3 kg （range： 4.5-91.0 kg）, respectively. Mean ductal diameter, aortic ductal diameter, ductal length, and pulmonary artery pressure were 3.50 ± 2.15 mm, 10.08 ± 2.46 ram, 7.49 ± 3.02 mm, and 30.21 ± 17.28 mmHg, respectively. Morphology of PDA assessed by descending aortogram was of type A in 1428 patients, type B in 6 patients, type C in 79 patients, type D in 4 patients, and type E in 9 patients according to the classification of Krichenko. Of all the 1526 patients, 1497 patients underwent transcatheter PDA closure, among which 1492 were successful. Devices used were Amplatzer duct occluder I （ADO I, 1280, 85.8%）, Cook detachable coils （116, 7.8%）, ADO II （ADO II, 68, 4.6%）, muscular VSD occluder （12, 0.8%）, and Amplatzer vascular plug （16, 1.0%）. Conclusions： Excellent occlusion rates with low complication rates were achieved with all devices regardless of PDA types. With transcatheter occlusion technique and devices developing, more patients with PDA can be treated with transcatheter closure both safely and efficiently.

SYNTHESIS OF A SERIES OF NOVEL ORGANIC COMPOUNDS WITH TWO-PHOTON ABSORPTION AND TWO-PHOTON PUMPED LASING

A series of novel organic compounds named as CSPI, DPASPI, PSPI DEASPI and HEASPI respectively, with large two-photon absorption has been synthesized and their structures have been determined by (HNMR)-H-1 and elemental analysis. The highest two-photon pumped (TPP) output /input efficiency is as high as 13.4% for PSPI in DMF with d(0) = 0.03 mol/L and the effective two-photon absorption cross section is 8.8x10(-48) cm(4).s/photon for DPASPI in DMF with d(0) = 0.05 mol/L.
