Hepatitis B virus (HBV) causes an endemic infection that affects nearly 2 billion patients worldwide. It is one of the leading causes of liver cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and liver transplantation (LT). recurrence of HBV infection after LT is due to specific HBV-host genome interactions. Although hepatitis B immunoglobulin treatment constituted the backbone of HBV recurrence, use of the nucleoside and nucleotide analogs (especially the ones with a higher genetic barrier to resistance), either alone or in combination, offer us new and powerful options in over-coming this serious issue.

The first photometric solution in the B,V,r_(c) and I_(c) filters of the short period V1833 Ori eclipsing binary is presented based on new ground-based CCD photometric *** analyzed the BVrI photometric light curves of the system,using PHOEBE 0.31 a,a binary star modeling program,with the Wilson-Devinney method based on roche geometry to achieve the best accordance with the photometric observations to determine their absolute parameters from the light *** updated the ephemeris of V1833 Ori using two new light curve minima derived by our new observational data from those collected in the literature and analyzed the change of the system's orbital *** O-C analysis indicates that the variations of the orbital period of V1833 Ori with time are increasing at a rate of 3.03×10^(-7)days yr^(-1).The distance of V1833 Ori is 173.7±15.6 *** the solutions,we find that V1833 Ori is an A-subtype W UMa overcontact binary with q=0.701 mass ratio and f=1.14 fill-out *** Hr diagram positions of the eclipsing binary system's components are *** system's absolute dimensions were compared to those of similar binaries in the log T_(eff)-log L,logM-logL,1 ogM-logr and logM-log J_(0)diagrams.

AIM:To study a retrospective analysis of patients who presented to the emergency departments(ED)with complaints related to foreign body ***:Patients older than 16 years of age who presented to the ED between January 1stand December 31stof 2010 with complaints related to swallowed foreign bodies were identified from electronic health records and patient ***:A total of 100 patients presented with a complaint of foreign body ingestion during the study ***,an X-ray was performed on 75 patients,and a fiberoptic evaluation was performed on45 patients.A foreign body was detected in 46(46%)*** diagnostic yield of the X-ray was 27(36%)out of 75 patients,while the diagnostic yield of the fiberoptic evaluations was 21(47%)out of 45 *** detected foreign bodies were mostly located in the esophagus(17 out of 46 foreign bodies detected).When the types of ingested foreign bodies were evaluated,52(52%)patients reported ingesting food,and19(19%)patients reported swallowing *** X-ray was performed on 33 patients with accidental food ingestions but yielded a positive result in only two *** 12 out of 21 patients with accidental food ingestion who underwent fiberoptic evaluation,the foreign material was detected and ***:Plain radiography is helpful in the localization of radiopaque swollen foreign bodies,while fiberoptic methods are useful as both diagnostic and therapeutic tools,regardless of radiopacity.

The quantification of methyldopa in pharmaceuticals has been carried out using a glassy carbon electrode（GCE） modified with multi-walled carbon nanotubes（MWCNTs）. Methyldopa exhibited a quasi-reversible response with a peak potential separation of 473 m V on a bare GCE. However, the cyclic voltammetric behaviour of methyldopa was improved with the increase of the amount of MWCNTs. It was also shown that the electrocatalytic activity of the electrode towards the response of methyldopa was higher with larger amount of film on the surface. The results showed that the peak current was proportional to the concentration of methyldopa with a linear dynamic range of 0.005-0.388 mmol/L and a detection limit of 1.0 nmol/L was obtained using square wave voltammetry. The experimental data showed that the detection limit of methyldopa and peak separation from interfering compounds such as ascorbic acid（AA） and uric acid（UA） were improved using the proposed procedure. The method was successfully applied for the determination of methyldopa in pharmaceuticals.

Subcutaneous vein network plays important roles to maintain microcirculation that is related to some diagnostic *** developments of optical imaging technologies,still the difficulties about deep skin vascular imaging have been *** the other hand,since hemoglobin con-centration of human blood has key role in the veins imaging by optical manner,the used wavelength in vascular imaging,must be chosen considering absorption of *** this research,we constructed a near infrared(NIr)light source because of lower absorption of hemoglobin in this optical *** obtain vascular image,reflectance geometry was ***,from recorded images,vascular network analysis,such as calculation of width of vascular of interest and complexity of selected region were *** comparing with other modalities,we observed that proposed imaging system has great advantages including nonionized radiation,moderate penetration depth of 0.5-3 mm and diameter of 1 mm,cost-effective and algorit hmic simplicity for analysis.

Effects of application date and rate of foliar-applied glyphosate on pine seedlings in Turkey

Glyphosate is the herbicide most extensively used for site preparation and conifer release. It is a broadspectrum herbicide and therefore crop safety is a critical issue. This study assessed the early effects of 14 different treatments, including no weed control, manual weed control, and 12 foliar-applied herbicide treatments at low,intermediate, high, and highest application rates and application timing on glyphosate phytotoxicity of containerized seedlings of Austrian pine(Pinus nigra ***.), Scots pine(P. sylvestris L.) and maritime pine(*** Aiton), conifer species widely used for afforestation and supplementary plantings in Turkish forestry. In general, Scots pine seedlings were tolerant to glyphosate compared to the other species. Glyphosate phytotoxicity varied significantly according to the time and rate of application. Seedlings were relatively tolerant to glyphosate in April whereas they were intolerant in May. The highest herbicide rate(1.2% v:v) was consistently phytotoxic to all species. Moreover, the effect of herbicide rate on seedling survival and growth varied significantly according to application date(i.e., application rate 9 date interaction). Seedlings appeared tolerant to glyphosate at low and intermediate rates(0.2, 0.4% v:v) between midspring and mid-summer, whereas they demonstrated significant sensitivity to the highest rate across all time periods. Glyphosate at the high rate(0.8% v:v) was particularly more phytotoxic when applied in May. Application of glyphosate at rates up to 0.8% could be recommended for weed control without significant pine damage in midspring when the needles presumably have a dense leaf epicuticular wax layer limiting herbicide *** of 0.8 and 1.2% v:v are not recommended during May–June.

Investigation of Single-Wall MoS_2 Monolayer Flakes Grown by Chemical Vapor Deposition

recently, two-dimensional monolayer molybdenum disulfide(MoS_2), a transition metal dichalcogenide, has received considerable attention due to its direct bandgap, which does not exist in its bulk form, enabling applications in optoelectronics and also thanks to its enhanced catalytic activity which allows it to be used for energy harvesting. However,growth of controllable and high-quality monolayers is still a matter of research and the parameters determining growth mechanism are not completely clear. In this work, chemical vapor deposition is utilized to grow monolayer MoS_2 flakes while deposition duration and temperature effect have been systematically varied to develop a better understanding of the MoS_2 film formation and the influence of these parameters on the quality of the monolayer flakes. Different from previous studies, SEM results show that single-layer MoS_2 flakes do not necessarily grow flat on the surface, but rather they can stay erect and inclined at different angles on the surface, indicating possible gas-phase reactions allowing for monolayer film formation. We have also revealed that process duration influences the amount of MoO_3/MoO_2 within the film network. The homogeneity and the number of layers depend on the change in the desorption–adsorption of radicals together with sulfurization rates, and, inasmuch, a careful optimization of parameters is crucial. Therefore, distinct from the general trend of MoS_2 monolayer formation, our films are rough and heterogeneous with monolayer MoS_2 nanowalls. Despite this roughness and the heterogeneity, we observe a strong photoluminescence located around 675 nm.
