Before going further with fractional derivative which is constructed by Rabotnov exponential kernel,there exist many questions that are not *** this paper,we try to recapitulate all the fundamental calculus,which we can obtain with this new fractional *** problems in this paper are to determine the solutions of the fractional differential equations where the second members are constant functions,polynomial functions,exponential functions,trigonometric functions,or Mittag-Leffler *** all the fractional differential equations,the obtained solutions are represented *** Laplace transform of the fractional derivative with Rabotnov exponential kernel is the primary tool in the ***,we give the fundamental solution to the nonlinear time-fractional modified Degasperis-Procesi equation by considering the fractional operator with Rabotnov exponential kernel.

In a short time, many illustrative studies have been conducted on the mathematical modeling and analysis of COVID-19. There are not enough studies taking into account the vaccine campaign among these studies. In this context, a mathematical model is developed to reveal the effects of vaccine treatment, which has been performed recently, on COVID-19 in this study. In the proposed model, as well as the vaccinated individuals, a five-dimensional compartment system including the susceptible, infected, exposed and recovered population is constructed. Moreover, besides the positivity, existence and uniqueness of the solution, biologically feasible region are provided. The basic reproduction number known as expected secondary infection which means that expected infection among the susceptible populations caused by this infection is evaluated. In the numerical simulations, the parameter values taken from the literature and estimated are used to perform the solutions of the proposed model. Fourth-order Runge-Kutta numerical scheme is applied to obtain the results.

Effect of pathological myopia on biomechanical properties:a study by ocular response analyzer

AIM: To evaluate the ocular response analyzer(ORA)measurements of patients with pathological myopia in comparison with those of emmetropic control subjects,and to investigate the correlation between these ORA measurements and spherical equivalent(SE).METHODS: Measurements of 53 eyes of 53 subjects with pathological myopia(SE >-6.00 D) were compared with those of 60 eyes of 60 emmetropic controls. Corneal hysteresis(CH), corneal resistance factor(CRF),noncontact tonometer intraocular pressure(IOPg), and corneal-compensated IOP(IOPcc) were obtained for each subject. The refractive error value was determined as SE via a cycloplegic refraction ***: The mean age was 54.1±18.9y(ranging from5 to 88) in the pathological myopic group and 56.2±19.0y(ranging from 6 to 89) in the control group. There were no significant differences between the groups concerning age and sex. CH and CRF were significantly lower in the pathological myopic group than in the control group(P <0.001, P =0.005, respectively). IOPcc and IOPg were significantly higher in the pathological myopic group than in the control group(P <0.001, P =0.009,respectively). There were significantly positive correlations between CH and SE(r =0.565, P <0.001) and between CRF and SE(r =0.364, P =0.007). There were significantly negative correlations between IOPcc and SE(r =-0.432, P =0.001) and between IOPg and SE(r =-0.401,P =0.003).CONCLUSION: The present study displayed that pathological myopia affected biomechanical properties measured by ORA. The results of corneal biomechanicalproperties measured by ORA may need to be appreciated by taking refraction into account. Further, pathological myopia might be related with the increased IOP.

Violence toward emergency physicians: A prospective-descriptive study

BACKGROUND: The highest rate of workplace violence occurs in the health sector, although most cases remain unreported. Emergency services face the majority of these incidents for many reasons, such as the patient profile, long waiting time, and overcrowding. We aimed to determine the characteristics and causes of violence toward emergency physicians. METHODS: The acts of violence toward emergency physicians over a one-year period were prospectively recorded. After a violent incident took place, a third party separately interviewed the physician exposed to the violent behavior and the perpetrator who displayed this behavior. We examined the perpetrator's reasons for violence, their demographic characteristics, and the medical complaints of patients involved in such events to determine the characteristics and causes of ***: Of the violent acts investigated, 85.1% were verbal, and most were directed toward male doctors by the young male relatives of the patients. More than half of the violent acts occurred within the 15 minutes of presentation to emergency service(60.5%) and at off-hours(69.4%). Concerning the health insurance, 20.4% of the cases were covered by the free green card system, and a small number of the perpetrators of violence lived in rural areas(38.2%). The most common reason for violent behavior was the patients' or their relatives' dissatisfaction with the examination or treatment method(38.2%).CONCLUSIONS: Appropriate communication should be established with the patients, and they should be adequately informed about the treatments and interventions to be performed in order to prevent possible acts of violence.

AIMTo determine the effectiveness of pharmacological and interventional treatment of hypotony and flat anterior chamber (FAC) resulting from glaucoma filtration *** retrospectively examined the medical records of fifty-two trabeculectomy patients (52 eyes) who developed postoperative hypotony and FAC. The management and associated complications of hypotony, changing intraocular pressure (IOP) and best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) were *** the 52 patients with hypotony, 29 (56%) had a grade 1 FAC, 21 (40%) had a grade 2 FAC, and only 2 had a grade 3 FAC. There was no significant difference between the mean preoperative IOP and the mean IOP at three and six months after surgery. Thirteen eyes (25%) required antiglaucomatous medication three months after surgery. The mean BCVA at 6mo after surgery was significantly reduced as compared with the mean preoperative *** and FAC following trabeculectomy are associated with troublesome complications that require pharmacological and/or surgical treatment. Thus, close follow-up is essential for affected patients.

Organizational citizenship behavior is an example of such patterns. Multiple myeloma is a neoplasm of mature and immature plasma cells. A 50-year-old woman with lumbago, dysphagia, and left arm pain was presented. Upper endoscopical examination was performed. There was an exudate-covered ulcer in the distal esophagus, located at 30-32 cm from the incisors, covering the whole mucosa. Histopathological examination of the specimens obtained from the lesion showed the involvement of plasma cells consistent with multiple myeloma of IgG kappa subtype. Esophageal involvement of multiple myeloma should be kept in mind in patients presenting with dysphagia.

Plasma Surface Functionalization of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Films with Trimethyl Borate

The radiofrequency plasma (13.56 MHz) was employed to polymerize trimethyl borate (TMB) monomer/N2 gas mixture on the surface of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films. Plasma polymer coated polypropylene films were examined by flame retardancy test (limiting oxygen index, LOI). The highest LOI value calculated for the untreated BOPP sample was 18.4 (v/v O2%) and 24.2 (v/v O2%) for the 55 W 30 minutes treated sample. The plasma polymers were characterized by FTIR spectroscopy and AFM. According to the FTIR results, the -OH, B-CH3, B-O, and BH2 functional groups were detected. It was found that the highest surface roughness belonged to 40 W 30 min treated BOPP sample which was calculated as 9.78 nm (10 μm × 10 μm). Moreover, the wettability of the modified BOPP film surfaces was characterized via contact angle measurements. The water contact angle values have decreased from 109.6? to the lowest value of 68.2? after the plasma treatment. The results showed that TMB/N2 plasma modification could be used as an alternative method for the enhancement of flame retardancy and hydrophilicity of BOPP film.

Beneficial effects of Foeniculum vulgare on ethanol-induced acute gastric mucosal injury in rats

AIM： To examine the anti-ulcerogenic and antioxidant effects of aqueous extracts of Foeniculum vu/gare （FVE） on ethanol-induced gastric lesions in rats.METHODS： FVE was administered by gavage at doses of 75, i50 and 300 mg/kg, and famotidine was used at the dose of20mg/*** a 60 min period, all the rats were given 1 mL of ethanol （80%） by gavage. One hour after the administration of ethanol, all groups were sacrificed, and the gastric ulcer index was calculated; whole blood malondialdehyde （MDA） and reduced glutathione （GSH）, serum nitrate, nitrite, ascorbic acid, retinol and β-carotene levels were measured in all the groups.RESULTS： It was found that pretreatment with FVE significantly reduced ethanol-induced gastric damage. This effect of FVE was highest and statistically significant in 300 mg/kg group compared with the control （4.18 ± 2.81 vs 13.15 ± 4.08, P 〈 0.001）. Also, pretreatment with FVE significantly reduced the MDA levels, while significantly increased GSH, nitrite, nitrate, ascorbic acid, retinol and β-carotene levels. CONCLUSION： FVE has clearly a protective effect against ethanol-induced gastric mucosal lesion, and this effect, at least in part, depends upon the reduction in lipid peroxidation and augmentation in the antioxidant activity.
