The genus of Astragalus provides a significant source of pollen and nectar for honeybees. In this study, 37 Astragalus honey samples in 8 different regions from Turkey were investigated for the phenolic compositions and antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-quorum sensing, anti-inflammatory and enzyme inhibitory (urease, tyrosinase, butyrylcholinesterase (BChE), and acetylcholinesterase (AChE)) activities with chemometric approaches. Seventeen phenolic compounds and organic acids were detected using HPLC-DAD and levulinic, gallic, p-hy-droxy benzoic, vanilic andp-coumaric acids were found to be common compounds in all studied Astragalus honey samples. The ET coded Astragalus honey sample from Erzurum showed the best antioxidant activity in DPPH center dot (IC50: 12.54 +/- 0.25 mg/mL), ABTS center dot+ (IC50: 4.20 +/- 0.12 mg/mL) and beta-carotene linoleic acid (IC50: 3.85 +/- 0.11 mg/mL) assays. Astragalus honey samples studied displayed moderate antimicrobial activity against Candida species, gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria while they showed high quorum sensing inhibition effects. The NB coded Astragalus honey sample from Nigde exhibited the highest anti-inflammatory activity against COX -1 (76.11 +/- 0.80%) and COX-2 (55.98 +/- 0.93%) enzymes. The studied Astragalus honey samples showed mild enzyme inhibitory activities against AChE, BChE, urease and tyrosinase. The chemometric characterization based on the botanical origin of Astragalus honey samples was determined using principal component analysis (PCA) and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA).

Various machine learning models have been used to predict the properties of polycrystalline materials,but none of them directly consider the physical interactions among neighboring grains despite such microscopic interactions critically determining macroscopic material ***,we develop a graph neural network(GNN)model for obtaining an embedding of polycrystalline microstructure which incorporates not only the physical features of individual grains but also their *** embedding is then linked to the target property using a feed-forward neural *** the magnetostriction of polycrystalline Tb_(0.3)Dy_(0.7)Fe_(2) alloys as an example,we show that a single GNN model with fixed network architecture and hyperparameters allows for a low prediction error of~10%over a group of remarkably different microstructures as well as quantifying the importance of each feature in each grain of a microstructure to its *** a microstructure-graph-based GNN model,therefore,enables an accurate and interpretable prediction of the properties of polycrystalline materials.

During the Late Cretaceous in the Eastern Mediterranean, the northern branch of the southern Neotethys was closed by multiple northward subductions. Of these, the most northerly located subduction created the Baskil continental arc at around 82–84 Ma. The more southerly and intra-oceanic subduction, on the other hand, produced an arc-basin system,the Yüksekova Complex, as early as the late Cenomanian–early Turonian. The abundant and relatively well-studied basaltic rocks of this complex were intruded by dykes, sills and small stocks of felsic–intermediate rocks, not previously studied in detail. The intrusives collected from five different localities in the Elazig region of eastern Turkey are all subalkaline, with low Nb/Y values. Most of them have been chemically classified as rhyodacites/dacites, whereas a small number appear to be andesites. In normal mid-ocean-ridge basalt(N-MOrB)-normalised plots, the intrusives are characterised by relative enrichments in Th and La over Nb, Zr, Hf, Ti and high field strength elements(HrEEs), indicating their derivation from a subduction-modified source. While their relatively high, positive εN d(i) values(+6.4 and +7.2) might suggest a depleted mantle source for their ultimate origin, somewhat radiogenic Pb values indicate a sedimentary contribution to the source of the rocks. The overall geochemical characteristics indicate their generation in an oceanic arc setting. The zircon U-Pb Laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(LA-ICP-MS) data obtained from five felsic-intermediate rock samples yielded intrusion dates of 80–88 Ma. This suggests that the Elazig oceanic arc-related intrusives are slightly younger than those of the Yüksekova arc-basin system, but coeval with the Baskil continental arc. However, the felsic–intermediate intrusives show different geochemical characteristics(oceanic arc-type, with a lack of crustal contamination)to those of the Baskil continental arc. This study investigates the international spillover effects of US unconventional monetary policy(UMP)-frequently called large-scale asset purchases or quantitative easing(QE)—on advanced and emerging market economies,using structural vector autoregressive models with high-frequency daily ***(Federal reserve Bank of *** rev 92(6):465–479,2010)argued that the QE measures primarily aim to reduce US interest rate spreads,such as term and risk *** this argument and recent empirical evidence,we use two spreads as indicators of US UMP:the mortgage and term *** on data from 20 emerging and 20 advanced countries,our empirical findings reveal that US unconventional monetary policies significantly affect financial conditions in emerging and advanced countries by altering the risktaking behavior of *** result suggests that the risk-taking channel plays an important role in transmitting the effects of these policies to the rest of the *** extent of these effects depends on the type of QE *** measures such as purchases of private sector securities that lower the US mortgage spread exert stronger and more significant spillover effects on international financial markets than those that reduce the US term ***,the estimated financial spillovers vary substantially across countries and between and within the emerging and advanced countries that we examine in this study.

This paper proposed a method,namely resistively loaded lines(rLL),to compensate the effects of the DC bias lines after investigating its effects on several types of antennas for terahertz *** rLL is formed by placing lumped resistances periodically on the DC bias line in order to cease the leakage current virtually,w hich cause a significant amount of distortion on the antenna *** simulation results of the dipole,folded dipole,log-periodic,and spiral antennas show that rLL almost removes the effects of the bias lines and improves the antenna radiation resistance and radiation pattern notably compared w ith that of the commonly used bias line types,such as coplanar stripline and photonic bandgap type bias lines.
