The dissolution of copper and iron from chalcopyrite concentrate in the presence of ammonium persulfate(APS)and ammonium hydroxide was investigated under atmospheric leaching *** were designed by central composite design(CCD).Under the optimum leaching conditions((NH4)2S2O8 concentration=328 g/L;NH4OH addition=16vol%;leaching temperature=321 K(48℃);leaching time=120 min;liquid-to-solid ratio=16;stirring speed=400 r/min),selective leaching was achieved.98.14%of the copper was leached,whereas iron did not pass into the solution.X-ray diffraction analysis of the leaching residue showed that iron compounds were *** the leaching results,the fact that the leaching process does not include uneconomical leaching stages such as extended milling/mechanical activation or high pressures/temperatures,and the low copper dissolution conditions,the attained selective leaching yield may be remarkable.

This work studies the optimum reductive leaching process for manganese and zinc recovery from spent alkaline battery paste. The effects of reducing agents, acid concentration, pulp density, reaction temperature, and leaching time on the dissolution of manganese and zinc were investigated in detail. Manganese dissolution by reductive acidic media is an intermediate-controlled process with an activation energy of 12.28 kJ＇mo1-1. After being leached, manganese and zinc were selectively precipitated with sodium hydroxide. The zinc was entirely con- verted into zincate （Zn（OH）42-） ions and thus did not co-precipitate with manganese hydroxide during this treatment （2.0 M NaOH, 90 min, 200 r/rain, pH 〉 13）. After the manganese was removed from the solution, the Zn（OH）4^2- was precipitated as zinc sulfate in the presence of sulfuric acid. The results indicated that this process could be effective in recovering manganese and zinc from alkaline batteries.

In this article, the geometry of the slant submanifolds of a Riemannian product manifold is studied. Some necessary and sufficient conditions on slant, bi-slant and semi-slant submanifolds are given. Radiological properties, such as the linear attenuation coefficient(μ), mass attenuation coefficient(μ/ρ), half-value layer(HVL), tenth-value layer(TVL), mean free path(MFP), and effective atomic number(Z_(eff)), of 304 L stainless steels have been investigated with respect to photon interactions to determine the influence of current intensity at different gamma-ray energies.^(137)Cs and ^(60)Co radioactive point sources were used to irradiate 304 L stainless steels joined at 45–70-A weld currents for the transmission of the gamma rays at photon energies of661.0, 1173.2, and 1332.5 ke V. The μ, μ/ρ, HVL, TVL,MFP, and Z_(eff) of the steels were measured at the mentioned energies, and theoretical values for pure 304 L stainless steel were calculated for comparison. The minimum differences(%) in Z_(eff) between pure steel and steel joined at a weld current of 60 A were observed for relevant photon energies; the minimum difference between the theoretical value for pure 304 L and the experimental value for joined steel was 4.76%, and that between the experimental value for pure 304 L and the experimental value for joined steel was 2.60% at 1332.5 ke V. Moreover, the MFPs of the joined steels were compared with that of pure 304 L, and steel joined at 60 A, which had the minimum MFP, was compared with some radiation-shielding concretes in terms of MFP at the same gamma-ray energies.

To ensure sustainability in agriculture,many optimization problems need to be *** important one of them is harvest scheduling *** this study,the harvest scheduling problem for the tea is *** tea harvest problem includes the creating a harvest schedule by considering the farmers'quotas under the purchase location and factory *** harvesting is carried out in cooperation with the *** man-agement is interested in using its ***,the factory capacity,purchase location capacities and number of expeditions should be considered during the harvesting *** the farmer's side is examined,it is seen that the real professions of farmers are *** harvest days,farmers often cannot attend to their primary *** the harvest day preferences of farmers in creating the harvest schedule are of great importance for sustainability in *** different mathematical models are proposed to solve this *** first model minimizes the number of weekly expeditions of factory vehicles within the factor and purchase location capacity *** second model minimizes the number of expeditions and aims to comply with the preferences of the farmers as much as possible.A sample application was performed in a region with 12 purchase locations,988 farmers,and 3392 decares of tea *** results show that the compli-ance rate of farmers to harvesting preferences could be increased from 52%to 97%,and this situation did not affect the number of expeditions of the *** result shows that considering the farmers'preferences on the harvest day will have no negative impact on the *** the contrary,it was concluded that this situation increases sustainability and encouragement in ***,the results show that models are effective for solving the problem.

The draft Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control(IPPC)regulation mandates compliance with best available techniques(BATs)for textile manufacturers.A study in Turkish textile facilities,covering 56 units across four sub-sectors,assessed the status of 488 BATs through on-site visits and *** aim was to gauge the sector’s adherence to *** findings revealed that 37% of surveyed BATs were fully implemented,rising to 88% when considering potential future *** suggests a strong industry inclination toward adopting BATs for cleaner production and *** study highlighted significant BAT-related investments in the textile sector,driven by environmental concerns,regulations,customer demands,resource efficiency,competition,and cost-benefit ***,the study results also indicated that there is still much work to do for the implementation of some *** was found that 60 BATs had lower implementation ratios(IR:0%-43%).Lower IR values for these BATs are mainly due to factors like specificity,high costs,long payback periods,operational difficulties,limited expertise,space constraints,customer requirements,quality concerns,operational issues,and sector-specific *** study recommends similar assessments in other European industrial sectors to evaluate compliance with mandatory BATs outlined in the Industrial Emissions *** insights from this study on the Turkish textile sector can serve as a valuable guide for future evaluations.

Using the mean-field theory and Glauber-type stochastic dynamics, we study the dynamic magnetic properties of the mixed spin （2, 5/2） Ising system for the antiferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic （AFM/AFM） interactions on the bilayer square lattice under a time varying （sinusoidal） magnetic field. The time dependence of average magnetizations and the thermal variation of the dynamic magnetizations are examined to calculate the dynamic phase diagrams. The dynamic phase diagrams are presented in the reduced temperature and magnetic field amplitude plane and the effects of interlayer coupling interaction on the critical behavior of the system are investigated. We also investigate the influence of the frequency and find that the system displays richer dynamic critical behavior for higher values of frequency than that of the lower values of it. We perform a comparison with the ferromagnetic/ferromagnetic （FM/FM） and AFM/FM interactions in order to see the effects of AFM/AFM interaction and observe that the system displays richer and more interesting dynamic critical behaviors for the AFM/AFM interaction than those for the FM/FM and AFM/FM interactions.

An innovative occupant friendly retrofitting technique has been developed for reinforced concrete(RC) building structures with hollow brick infill walls used as partition walls which constitute the major portion of the existing building stock in Turkey. The idea is to convert the existing hollow brick infill wall into a load carrying system acting as a cast-in-place RC wall by reinforcing it with relatively thin concrete plates bonded to the mortar coated infill wall by use of tile adhesive and fixed by 6(6 mm diameter) bolts. Test parameters were the shape and thickness of the plates, presence of reinforcement in plates, number and arrangement of 6 bolts. It was observed that lateral strength, stiffness, energy dissipation capacity, and ductility of the strengthened infill walls were improved and behaviour was enhanced by the proposed technique. Plates with two different basic shapes were used to strengthen the test specimens.

目的:评估玻璃体腔内抗VEGF治疗糖尿病黄斑水肿(DME)24mo后的现实生活剖析和视觉效果。方法:本研究包括了2012-06/2016-12接受玻璃体腔内注射的视网膜内和/或视网膜下液体和基线中心黄斑厚度(CMT)超过300μm的DME患者。在基线处3,6,12,18和24mo评估视力(VA)和CMT的变化,以及患者就诊和玻璃体腔内注射总数。结果:研究包含40例患者(54眼)。基线处3mo LogMAR视力从0.67±0.47提高到0.59±0.43并在12mo内保持3.5±2.19次注射。12mo和24mo时平均就诊次数分别为9±2.39和15.48±4.84。基线处平均CMT为450±153μm,12mo和24mo时分别降至385±141μm和305±111μm(P<0.001)。结论:PRN方法在治疗DME中可以保持视力稳定并改善黄斑水肿,但在主动疗法中,较低的就诊负担可能会获得类似的或更好的治疗效果。
