The aggregation of amyloid-beta peptide and tau protein dysregulation are implicated to play key roles in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis and are considered the main pathological hallmarks of this devastating disease. Physiologically, these two proteins are produced and expressed within the normal human body. However, under pathological conditions, abnormal expression, posttranslational modifications, conformational changes, and truncation can make these proteins prone to aggregation, triggering specific disease-related cascades. Recent studies have indicated associations between aberrant behavior of amyloid-beta and tau proteins and various neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, as well as retinal neurodegenerative diseases like Glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. Additionally, these proteins have been linked to cardiovascular disease, cancer, traumatic brain injury, and diabetes, which are all leading causes of morbidity and mortality. In this comprehensive review, we provide an overview of the connections between amyloid-beta and tau proteins and a spectrum of disorders.

棘球蚴病/包虫病(cystic echinococcosis,CE)是一种全球性的人畜共患动物源性疾病,严重威胁人类和家畜的生命。由细粒棘球蚴引起的CE在我国高发流行,免疫接种是预防该病流行的最理想途径,在过去的几十年中,许多研究已经描述了该病的保护性候选抗原及其在终末宿主和中间宿主免疫中的作用。目前EG95重组蛋白疫苗效果最好,对中间宿主羊的保护力可达到96%~100%。但终末宿主犬作为传播的核心传染源,对其仍缺乏有效的防控手段,尤其是缺乏有效的接种疫苗,因此疫苗在犬身上的潜在应用是未来研究的重点。能抑制犬体内虫体发育并减少虫体在犬肠道内产卵量的疫苗研发将有望控制包虫病在流行地区的传播,大大加快该病的控制和消除。本研究从细粒棘球绦虫的生命周期、分子流行病学、地理分布以及终末宿主犬疫苗候选抗原等方面进行系统综述,旨在对CE的传播、未来发展方向和防治提供理论参考,为加速我国在CE终末宿主疫苗的研发进程和尽早应用于防控实践奠定基础。

Investigation of Physical Properties of Nano Crude Petroleum: Increasing Oil Flow Rate in Reservoirs

The zinc oxide nano-particles have been used in this research. In this work, zinc oxide nanoparticles have been added to light and heavy crude oil. In this research, thermoelectric and physical properties of light and heavy crude petroleum have been measured, experimentally. In addition, dimensionless groups in hydrodynamics and heat transfer calculations are presented. This research illustrates that heat capacity of light and heavy crude petroleum varies from 4256 J/kg·°C to 4457 J/kg·°C and 4476 J/kg·°C to 5002 J/kg·°C, respectively. Moreover, heat capacity of light and heavy nano-crude petroleum is changing from about 4285 J/kg·°C to 4496 J/kg·°C and 4494 J/kg·°C to 5021 J/kg·°C, respectively.

The effective conductivity of graphene-based nanocomposites is suggested by the characteristics of polymer-filler interfacial areas as well as the contact resistance between the neighboring *** interfacial properties are expressed by the effective levels of the inverse aspect ratio and the filler volume ***,the resistances of components in the contact regions are used to define the contact resistance,which inversely affects the effective *** obtained model is utilized to predict the effective conductivity for some *** discrepancy of the effective conductivity at various ranks of all factors is *** interfacial conductivity directly controls the effective conductivity,while the filler conductivity plays a dissimilar role in the effective conductivity,due to the incomplete interfacial adhesion.A high operative conductivity is also achieved by small contact distances and high interfacial ***,big contact diameters and little tunnel resistivity decrease the contact resistance,thus enhancing the effective conductivity.

目的:探讨配戴角巩膜接触镜对圆锥角膜患者视力和角膜参数的影响。方法:前瞻性研究。共纳入43例(83眼)圆锥角膜患者。配戴角巩膜接触镜，并分别在戴镜前、戴镜3、6 mo后行裂隙灯检查、客观验光和主观验光、裸眼视力(UCVA)和最佳矫正视力(BCVA)、角膜曲率(Kmax、K1和K2)、中央角膜厚度和内皮细胞计数检查。结果:配戴6 mo框架眼镜后平均BCVA(Log MAR)为0.34±0.23，角巩膜接触镜为0.03±0.05(P <0.001)。戴镜6 mo后，Kmax由52.80±5.93 D变为51.51±5.64 D(P<0.001)，角膜中央厚度由483.84±34.69μm变为476.28±35.38μm(P <0.001)，角膜中央细胞计数由2559.18±275.7 cells/mm2变为2572.73±274.3 cells/mm2(P<0.001)。结论:临床中角膜参数未发生明显变化，角巩膜镜可显著提高视力，且可安全用于圆锥角膜患者。

Surface oxidation study of molten Mg–Al alloys by oxide/metal/oxide sandwich method

The dynamic oxidation of molten Mg–Al alloy was investigated via the oxide/metal/oxide(OMO)sandwich *** characteristics of sandwiches were explored using optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy,X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy,and X-ray diffraction *** results showed the formation of porous oxide films with varying thicknesses from 0.43 to 16.7 *** the measurements and calculations confirmed the literature findings that the oxidation product consists mainly of MgO and Mg Al_(2)O_(4)*** increase in thickness and amount of folds formed on the oxide films implies the significant effect of aluminum in reducing the oxidation resistance of magnesium.

以25份新疆的梨种质资源一年生休眠枝条为试材,在人工低温条件下(-18、-21、-24、-27、-30℃)进行处理24 h,研究了其在不同低温处理下电解质渗出率的变化。同时,结合Logistic方程计算得到枝条的半致死温度(LT50),旨在发现优异的抗寒种质资源,以期为后续耐寒梨种质资源的开发应用及引种提供参考依据。结果表明:在低温胁迫下,20份种质枝条的电解质外渗率呈现相似趋势,随着处理温度降低而逐渐增大,但不同种质之间上升速率存在差异。另外5份梨种质则表现出先上升后下降的趋势。25份梨种质中,半致死温度范围介于-29.91~-21.10℃。通过聚类分析将供试种质划分为三大类,小儿江、鄯善香梨和小香梨属于抗寒性较强的一类;雅格阿木提、八角梨、全母梨香梨等7份梨种质属于抗寒性较低的一类;而其他15份梨种质则属于抗寒性中间类型。

A novel and efficient strategy for the synthesis of various carbamates using carbamoyl chlorides under solvent-free and grinding conditions using microwave irradiation

We present an efficient, fast and simple strategy of generating the intermediate carbamoyl chlorides from secondary amines using stoichiometric amounts of bis（trichloromethyl）carbonate （BTC） in solution and solvent-free conditions with excellent yields. The results obtained showed the yield increasing on whether a base was used. Finally, an efficient and rapid synthesis of variety carbamate derivatives was developed by the reaction with a high variety of different alcohols, phenols, diols and this intermediate at room temperature with grinding and in solvent-free conditions under microwave irradiation. The presence of various safe bases is shown to be effective in reducing the reaction times, increasing the yields and easing purification. The present method does not involve any hazardous phosgene.

Heat exchangers are integral parts of important industrial units such as petrochemicals,medicine and power *** to the importance of systems energy consumption,different modifications have been applied on heat exchangers in terms of size and *** this study,a novel heat exchanger with helically grooved annulus shell and helically coiled tube was investigated by numerical *** grooves with the same pitch of the helical coil tube and different depth are created on the inner and outer wall of annulus shell to improve the thermal performance of heat *** the first section,thermal performance of the shell and coil heat exchanger with the helical grooves on its outer shell wall was compared with same but without helical *** the second section,helically grooves created on both outer and inner wall of the annulus shell with different groove *** results showed that the heat exchanger with grooves on both inner and outer shell wall has better thermal performance up to 20%compared to the heat exchanger with grooves on only outer shell *** highest thermal performance achieves at lower flow rates and higher groove depths whereas the pressure drop did not increase significantly.
