This paper proposes a guaranteed feasible control allocation method based on the model predictive control. Feasible region is considered to guarantee the determination of the desired virtual control signal using the pseudo inverse methodology and is described as a set of constraints of an MPC problem. With linear models and the given constraints, feasible region defines a convex polyhedral in the virtual control space. In order to reduce the computational time, the polyhedral can be approximated by a few axis alig ned hypercubes. Employing the MPC with rectangular constraints substantially reduces the computational complexity .In two dimensions, the feasible region can be approximated by a few rectangles of the maximum area using numerical geometry techniques which are considered as the constraints of the MPC problem. Also, an active MPC is defined as the controller to minimize the cost function in the control horizon. Finally, several simulation examples are employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed techniques.

This paper investigates the necessity of feasibility considerations in a fault tolerant control system using the constrained control allocation methodology where both static and dynamic actuator constraints are considered. In the proposed feasible control allocation scheme, the constrained model predictive control(MPC) is employed as the main controller. This considers the admissible region of the control allocation problem as its constraints. Using the feasibility notion in the control allocation problem provides the main controller with information regarding the actuator′s status, which leads to closed loop system performance improvement. several simulation examples under normal and faulty conditions are employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. The main results clearly indicate that closed loop performance and stability characteristics can be significantly degraded by neglecting the actuator constraints in the main controller. Also, it is shown that the proposed strategy substantially enlarges the domain of attraction of the MPC combined with the control allocation as compared to the conventional MPC.

In order to study the influence of the shell effects on the formation and fission of superheavy elements, we applied multidimensional Langevin equations. The evaporation residue cross sections have been calculated for 3n, 4n, and 5n evaporation channels using three(K = 0)-and four(K ≠ 0)-dimensional Langevin equations. Calculations were done for ^(48)Ca + ^(238)U and ^(48)Ca + ^(244)Pu hot fusion reactions with 3n, An evaporation channels and ^(70)Zn+ ^(208)Pb, and ^(54)Cr + ^(209)Bi cold fusion reactions with In and 2n evaporation channels. The calculations were performed for An and 5n evaporation channels of the ^(26)Mg+ ^(238)U reaction, as well. Our results show that with increasing dimension of Langevin equations the residue cross section increases, whereas the fission cross section decreases. The obtained results with four-dimensional Langevin and considering shell effects are in better agreement with experimental data in comparison with three-and four-dimensional Langevin equations without shell effects.

In this work, the optical absorption spectra of carbon-nickel films annealed at different temperatures（300-1000 ℃） with a special emphasis on the surface plasmon resonance（sPR） were investigated. The films were grown on quartz substrates by radio-frequency（RF）magnetron co-sputtering at room temperature with a deposition time of 600 s. The optical absorption peaks due to the sPR of Ni particle are observed in the wavelength range of 300-330 nm. With annealing temperature increasing up to 500 ℃ due to the increase in Ni particle size, the intensity of the sPR peaks increases, but weakens with annealing temperature increasing over 500 ℃. The Ni nanoparticle size, the dielectric function of carbon matrix（ε_m） and the plasma frequency of the free electrons（ω_p） at500 ℃have the maximum values of 21.63 nm, 0.471 and5.26 9 10^（15）s^（-1）, respectively. The absorption peak shows a redshift trend up to 500 ℃and then turn to blueshift with annealing temperature increasing over 500 ℃ These observations are in a good agreement with the electrical measurements in temperature range of 15-520 K and the Maxwell-Garnett（M-G） effective medium theory（EMT）.

The idea of positional inverted index is exploited for indexing of graph database. The main idea is the use of hashing tables in order to prune a considerable portion of graph database that cannot contain the answer set. These tables are implemented using column-based techniques and are used to store graphs of database, frequent sub-graphs and the neighborhood of nodes. In order to exact checking of remaining graphs, the vertex invariant is used for isomorphism test which can be parallel implemented. The results of evaluation indicate that proposed method outperforms existing methods.

Tungsten inert gas(TIG) welding is the most commonly used joining process for aluminum alloy for AA6061 and AA7075 which are highly demanded in the aerospace engineering and the automobile sector, but there are some defects occur during TIG welding like micro-crack, coarse grain structure, and porosity. To improve these defects, the TIG welded joint is processed using friction stir processing(FsP).This paper presents the effect of friction stir processing on TIG welding with filler ER4043 and ER 5356 for dissimilar aluminum alloy AA6061 and AA7075. The mechanical characterization, finite element formulation and mathematical equations of heat transfer of TIG + FsP welded joints are investigated using ANsYs Fluent software by adjusting process parameters of FsP. The results show that the maximum compressive residual stress 73 MPa was obtained at the fusion zone(FZ) of the TIG weldment with filler ER4043, whereas minimum compressive residual stress 37 MPa was obtained at stir zone(sZ) of the TIG+ FsP with filler 5356. The maximum heat flux 5.33 × 106 W/m2 and temperature 515C have observed at tool rotation 1600 rpm with a feed rate of 63 mm/min. These results give a satisfactory measure of confidence in the fidelity of the simulation。

This paper presents an experimental study on physical and mechanical properties of high strength steel plates（AIsI 4130） joined by resistance spot welding by means of hardness mapping technique. Welding current and electrode force were selected as experimental parameters. The welded joints were exposed to tensile-shearing tests in order to determine the strength of the welded zones. Hardness and microstructural examinations were carried out in order to examine the influence of welding parameters on the welded joints. Hardness mapping test was conducted on the large area of weld zone, including the heat afected zone and base plate. Hardness map was used to investigate the efects of current on hardness and microstructure in diferent regions of weld. Low electrode force and high welding current, used during the welding, increased the expulsion. An optimum weld quality was obtained by using 6.5 kA weld current. It was found that mechanical performance of resistance spot welded samples is controlled by nugget diameter and expulsion. Results revealed that hardness mapping technique provides one of the best methods for the physical and mechanical understanding of heterogeneous microstructures using hardness criterion.
