Frozen storage of emulsion-type sausages may be one approach to avoid or reduce the use of sodium nitrite,which is associated with health risks.Silver carp(Hypophthalmichthys molitrix)mince(M_(0))was washed for 1(M_(1))or 3(M_(3))times and the impact of washing on the properties frozen storage(−18℃)during 4 months were determined and results were compared to those of conventional silver carp sausages(Mt).Lipid oxidation,as evidenced by changes in thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and FFAs,took place during storage in the order of M_(0)>M_(1)=M_(3)=Mt with M_(0)being highly oxidized(P≤0.05).Total volatile base nitrogen formed during storage and the ranking for the quality loss was as follows M_(0)>M_(1)>M_(3)=Mt.Washing(M_(1)=M_(3))led to less hardness(P≤0.05).Mt had better redness,while M_(1)and M_(3)led to higher expressible moisture,water release and lightness(P≤0.05).Results indicated the lower sensory and consumer-liking properties of frozen M_(1)and M_(3)sausages.Therefore,washing and frozen storage influenced silver carp mince sausages.

Evaluating the in situ concrete compressive strength by means of cores cut from hardened concrete is acknowledged as the most ordinary method, however, it is very difficult to predict the compressive strength of concrete since it is affected by many factors such as different mix designs, methods of mixing, curing conditions, compaction, etc. In this paper, considering the experimental results, three different models of multiple linear regression model （MLR）, artificial neural network （ANN）, and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system （ANFIS） are established, trained, and tested within the Matlab programming environment for predicting the 28 days compressive strength of concrete with 173 different mix designs. Finally, these three models are compared with each other and resulted in the fact that ANN and ANFIS models enables us to reliably evaluate the compressive strength of concrete with different mix designs, however, multiple linear regression model is not feasible enough in this area because of nonlinear relationship between the concrete mix parameters. Finally, the sensitivity analysis （SA） for two different sets of parameters on the concrete compressive strength prediction are carried out.

目前,自适应神经模糊推理系统(ANFIS)在混凝土技术中得到了广泛的应用。本研究利用神经模糊系统确定了轻量化混凝土的抗压强度。以废渣百分率和固化天数作为网络的输入参数,以抗压强度和抗拉强度作为输出参数。实验选用了100个模式,其中70%用于训练,30%用于测试。为了评估神经模糊系统的精度,比较了神经模糊系统和统计模型(LR)两种线性回归模型的训练和测试阶段。结果表明,神经模糊系统模型比统计模型具有更大的潜力、适应性性和精度。

In this study,the instability and bifurcation diagrams of a functionally graded(FG)porous sandwich beam on an elastic,viscous foundation which is influenced by an axial load,are investigated with an analytical attitude.To do so,the Timoshenko beam theory is utilized to take the shear deformations into account,and the nonlinear Von-Karman approach is adopted to acquire the equations of motion.Then,to turn the partial differential equations(PDEs)into ordinary differential equations(ODEs)in the case of equations of motion,the method of Galerkin is employed,followed by the multiple time scale method to solve the resulting equations.The impact of parameters affecting the response of the beam,including the porosity distribution,porosity coefficient,temperature increments,slenderness,thickness,and damping ratios,are explicitly discussed.It is found that the parameters mentioned above affect the bifurcation points and instability of the sandwich porous beams,some of which,including the effect of temperature and porosity distribution,are less noticeable.

BACKGROUND Artificial intelligence(AI)has potential in the optical diagnosis of colorectal polyps.AIM To evaluate the feasibility of the real-time use of the computer-aided diagnosis system(CADx)AI for ColoRectal Polyps(AI4CRP)for the optical diagnosis of diminutive colorectal polyps and to compare the performance with CAD EYE^(TM)(Fujifilm,Tokyo,Japan).CADx influence on the optical diagnosis of an expert endoscopist was also investigated.METHODS AI4CRP was developed in-house and CAD EYE was proprietary software provided by Fujifilm.Both CADxsystems exploit convolutional neural networks.Colorectal polyps were characterized as benign or premalignant and histopathology was used as gold standard.AI4CRP provided an objective assessment of its characterization by presenting a calibrated confidence characterization value(range 0.0-1.0).A predefined cut-off value of 0.6 was set with values0.76).Self-critical AI4CRP’s diagnostic performances excluded low confidence characterizations.RESULTS AI4CRP use was feasible and performed on 30 patients with 51 colorectal polyps.Self-critical AI4CRP,excluding 14 low confidence characterizations[27.5%(14/51)],had a diagnostic accuracy of 89.2%,sensitivity of 89.7%,and specificity of 87.5%,which was higher compared to AI4CRP.CAD EYE had a 83.7%diagnostic accuracy,74.2%sensitivity,and 100.0%specificity.Diagnostic performances of the endoscopist alone(before AI)increased nonsignificantly after reviewing the CADx characterizations of both AI4CRP and CAD EYE(AI-assisted endoscopist).Diagnostic performances of the AI-assisted endoscopist were higher compared to both CADx-systems,except for specificity for which CAD EYE performed best.CONCLUSION Real-time use of AI4CRP was feasible.Objective confidence values provided by a CADx is novel and self-critical AI4CRP showed higher diagnostic performances compared to A

Iran experienced one of the largest methanol poisoning outbreaks shortly after the coronavirus pandemic due to misinformation about the beneficial effects of alcohol in preventing and treating this viral infection.^([1])According to the Iran Legal Medicine Organization(LMO),over 3,100 methanol toxicity cases and 728 deaths were reported across the country,resulting in a syndemic of methanol poisoning.^([2])There is very little literature on the electrographic predictors of cardiovascular mortality in methanol poisoned patients.^([3])

BACKGROUND Cardiac conduction disorders and electrocardiographic(ECG)changes may occur as a manifestation of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),especially in severe cases.AIM To describe conduction system disorders and their association with other electrocardiographic parameters in patients who died of COVID-19.METHODS In this cross-sectional study,electrocardiographic and clinical data of 432 patients who expired from COVID-19 between August 1st,2021,and December 1st,2021,in a tertiary hospital were reviewed.RESULTS Among 432 patients who died from COVID-19,atrioventricular block(AVB)was found in 40(9.3%).Among these 40 patients,28(6.5%)suffered from 1st degree AVB,and 12(2.8%)suffered from complete heart block(CHB).Changes in ST-T wave,compatible with myocardial infarction or localized myocarditis,appeared in 189(59.0%).Findings compatible with myocardial injury,such as fragmented QRS and prolonged QTc,were found in 91 patients(21.1%)and 28 patients(6.5%),respectively.In patients who died of COVID-19,conduction disorder was unrelated to any underlying medical condition.Fragmented QRS,axis deviation,and ST-T changes were significantly related to conduction system disorder in patients who died of COVID-19(P value<0.05).CONCLUSION Conduction system disorders are associated with several other ECG abnormalities,especially those indicative of myocardial ischemia or inflammation.Most patients(73.14%)who died of COVID-19 demonstrated at least one ECG abnormality parameter.Since a COVID-19 patient's ECG gives important information regarding their cardiac health,our findings can help develop a risk stratification method for at-risk COVID-19 patients in future studies.

This study focuses on non-linear seismic response of concrete gravity quay-wall structures subjected to near-fault ground motions, a subject which seems not to have received much attention in the literature. A two-dimensional coupled fluid-structure-soil finite element modelling is employed to obtain the quay-wall response. The seawater medium is represented by acoustic type, potential based fluid elements. The elasto-plastic behavior of the soil medium is idealized using Drucker-Prager yield criterion based on associated flow rule assumption. Four nodded plane strain elements are used to model the concrete wall, foundation, subsoil, backfill and seabed zones. Fluid Structure Interface （FSI） elements are considered between the seawater interfaces with the quay-wall and the seabed. Frictional contact elements are employed between the wall and soil interfaces. The numerical model is validated using field measurements available for permanent drifts in a quay-wall damaged during Kobe earthquake. Reasonable agreements are obtained between the model predictions and the field measurements. Non-linear seismic analyses of the selected quay-wall subjected to both near-fault and far-fault ground motions are performed. An incremental dynamic analysis approach （IDA） is used. In general, at least for models examined in the current study, the gravity quay-walls are found to be more vulnerable to near-field, in comparison with the corresponding far-field, earthquakes.

Over the past few decades, many optical fiber sensing techniques have been developed. Among these available sensing methods, optical fiber Bragg grating（FBG） is probably the most popular one. With its unique capabilities, FBG-based geotechnical sensors can be used as a sensor array for distributive（profile） measurements, deployed under water（submersible）, for localized high resolution and/or differential measurements. The authors have developed a series of FBG-based transducers that include inclination, linear displacement and gauge/differential pore pressure sensors. Techniques that involve the field deployment of FBG inclination, extension and pore-pressure sensor arrays for automated slope stability and ground subsidence monitoring have been developed. The paper provides a background of FBG and the design concepts behind the FBG-based field monitoring sensors. Cases of field monitoring using the FBG sensor arrays are presented, and their practical implications are discussed.
