This paper proposes a sliding mode controller based on robust model reference adaptive proportional-integral(RMRA-PI)control for a stand-alone voltage source inverter(SA-VSI).The proposed controller has two control loops where the coefficients of PI controller are regulated by the adaptive sliding *** method is used to regulate the output voltage of the inverter under different load conditions and uncertainty,and adapts the output to the reference model to reduce the total harmonic distortion(THD).In this paper,the stability of the proposed controller is proven by using Lyapunov's theory and Barbalet’s *** proposed controller performs well in voltage regulation such as low THD under sudden load change and ***,the results of the proposed controller are compared with PI controller to show the effectiveness of the presented control system.

In recent years, urban rail systems have developed drastically. In these systems, when induction electrical machine suddenly brakes, a great package of energy is produced. This package of energy can be stored in energy storage devices such as battery, ultra-capacitor and flywheel. In this paper, an electrical topology is proposed to absorb regenerative braking energy and to store it in ultracapacitor and ***-capacitor can deliver the stored energy to DC grid and charge the battery for auxiliary applications such as lighting and cooling systems The proposed system is modeled based on large signal averaged modeling, which leads to the simplicity of calculations. The control system is based on Lyapunov stability theorem which guarantees system stability. Also, an energy management algorithm is proposed to control energy under braking and steady-state conditions. Finally,the simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed control and energy management system.

Limitation of fossil energy reserves in the world and increasing level of energy consumption, have always challenged human to replace new energy sources. Meanwhile, wind power as one of the new aspects of energy is of a special place. Due to the topography of the Sistan and Baluchistan province and its relative position, it is one of the best places to build wind farms. The aim of this study was to determine suitable locations for the construction of wind farms in the province. The following criteria were considered for various standards and due to the importance of data integration, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was selected and implemented to weight the layer through Expert choice software. ArcGIS was used for layers spatial analysis and overlapping. After data analysis, the studied region, in terms of the susceptibility to build wind farms, was divided into four levels: excellent, good, fair, weak. Results indicated that GIS as a supportive and decision making system is helpful preparing data and modeling priorities and experts comments regarding various factors and help designers selecting a suitable place to build wind farms. In this study, we determined three priorities for the construction of wind farms, taking into account the limited overlap and conformity of limitations map and locating, the area of prioritized region, climate and the field observations;the priority order is excellent, good, average, including Zabol, central regions in Zabol and Chabahar.

The main objective of this study was to evaluate the process of parameters such as mean temperature;total precipitation on phenology and phenological stages of apple golden type in Razavi Khorasan. For this reason, long-term data of absolute minimum daily temperature, precipitation, humidity, as well as Digital Elevation Model (DEM) was used. After collecting data on phenology and Growing Degree Days (GDD) for golden apple, to pass each phenological stage at different growth stages, the start and end dates, phenological stages of the locations were identified. Then, regression equations with variable longitude, latitude and altitude on SPSS software at level of 50% and 95%, respectively were used, and finally phenological stages and spatial distribution maps of temperature and precipitation variables based on these equations were drawn in ARC GIS software. The analysis of the phenological stages showed that Torbate Heydarieh station has a decreasing trend which is significant at 1% in all stages of phenology and Ghoochan station does not show any significant increase or decrease trend at all stages of phenology.

This paper reviews the various control algorithms and strategies used for fixed-wing morphing aircraft applications. It is evident from the literature that the development of control algorithms for morphing aircraft technologies focused on three main areas. The first area is related to precise control of the shape of morphing concepts for various flight conditions. The second area is mainly related to the flight dynamics, stability, and control aspects of morphing aircraft. The third area deals mainly with aeroelastic control using morphing concepts either for load alleviation purposes and/or to control the instability boundaries. The design of controllers for morphing aircraft/wings is very challenging due to the large changes that can occur in the structural, aerodynamic, and inertial characteristics. In addition, the type of actuation system and actuation rate/speed can have a significant effect on the design of such controllers. The aerospace community is in strong need of such a critical review especially as morphing aircraft technologies move from fundamental research at a low Technology Readiness Level(TRL) to real-life applications. This critical review aims to identify research gaps and propose future directions. In this paper, research activities/papers are categorized according to the control strategy used. This ranges from simple Proportional Integral Derivative(PID) controllers at one end to complex robust adaptive controllers and deep learning algorithms at the other end. This includes analytical, computational, and experimental studies. In addition, the various dynamic models used and their fidelities are highlighted and discussed.

Background:Despite the availability of chemotherapy drugs such as 5-ﬂuorouracil(5-FU),the treatment of some cancers such as gastric cancer remains challenging due to drug resistance and side *** study aimed to investigate the effect of celastrol in combination with the chemotherapy drug 5-FU on proliferation and induction of apoptosis in human gastric cancer cell lines(AGS and EPG85-257).Materials and Methods:In this in vitro study,AGS and EPG85-257 cells were treated with different concentrations of celastrol,5-FU,and their *** proliferation was assessed using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT)*** synergistic effect of 5-FU and celastrol was studied using Compusyn *** DNA content at different phases of the cell cycle and apoptosis rate was measured usingﬂow ***:Co-treatment with low concentrations(10%inhibitory concentration(IC10))of celastrol and 5-FU signiﬁcantly reduced IC50(p<0.05)so that 48 h after treatment,IC50 was calculated at 3.77 and 6.9μM for celastrol,20.7 and 11.6μM for 5-FU,and 5.03 and 4.57μM for their combination for AGS and EPG85-257 cells,*** mean percentage of apoptosis for AGS cells treated with celastrol,5-FU,and their combination was obtained 23.9,41.2,and 61.9,and for EPG85-257 cells 5.65,46.9,and 55.7,*** addition,the 5-FU and celastrol-5-FU combination induced cell cycle arrest in the synthesis ***:Although celastrol could decrease the concentration of 5-ﬂuorouracil that sufﬁced to suppress gastric cancer cells,additional studies are required to arrive at conclusive evidence on the anticancer effects of celastrol.

Understanding the dark matter distribution throughout a galaxy can provide insight into its elusive nature. Numerous density profiles, such as the Navarro, Frenk and White model, have been created in an attempt to study this distribution through analyzing orbital velocities of luminous matter and modeling dark matter distributions to explain these observations. However, we are interested in a simple model to consider the significant fluctuations in rotation curves at larger radii. Therefore, our model is much simpler compared to those previously mentioned. Our model used all the observational data available for four selected galactic rotation curves. These data present a significant variation in the orbital velocity of matter at the same distances. By running real observational data through our model, we show that the density of the dark matter within them shows real complex structure, which is not suggested by other computational models. Our aim of this paper is to model this structure and then speculate as to the cause and implications of these density fluctuations.

Analysis of the COVID-19, Outbreak in Brazil Using Topological Weighted Centroid: An Intelligent Geographic Information System Approach

This study used Topological Weighted Centroid (TWC) to analyze the Coronavirus outbreak in Brazil. This analysis only uses latitude and longitude in formation of the capitals with the confirmed cases on May 24, 2020 to illustrate the usefulness of TWC though any date could have been used. There are three types of TWC analyses, each type having five associated algorithms that produce fifteen maps, TWC-Original, TWC-Frequency and TWC-Windowing. We focus on TWC-Original to illustrate our approach. The TWC method without using the transportation information predicts the network for COVID-19 outbreak that matches very well with the main radial transportation routes network in Brazil.

This work describes an accurate and effective method for numerically solving a class of nonlinear fractional differential *** start the method,we equivalently convert these types of differential equations to nonlinear fractional Volterra integral equations of the second kind by integrating from both sides of ***,the solution of the mentioned Volterra integral equations can be estimated using the collocation method based on locally supported Gaussian *** local Gaussian-collocation scheme estimates the unknown function utilizing a small set of data instead of all points in the solution domain,so the proposed method uses much less computer memory and volume computing in comparison with global *** apply the composite non-uniform Gauss-Legendre quadrature formula to estimate singular-fractional integrals in the *** of the fact that the proposed scheme requires no cell structures on the domain,it is a meshless ***,we obtain the error analysis of the proposed method and demon-strate that the convergence rate of the approach is arbitrarily *** examples clearly show the reliability and efficiency of the new technique and confirm the theoretical error estimates.

In recent years,the advent of microgrids with numerous renewable energy sources has created some fundamental challenges in the control,coordination,and management of energy trading between microgrids and the power *** respond to these challenges,some techniques such as the transactive energy(TE)technology are proposed to control energy ***,this paper uses TE technology for energy exchange control among the microgrids,and applies three operation cases for analyzing the energy trading control of four and ten microgrids with the aim of minimizing the energy cost of each microgrid,*** this regard,Monte Carlo simulation and fast forward selection(FFS)methods are respectively exerted for scenario generation and reduction in uncertainty modeling *** first case is assumed that all microgrids can only receive energy from the network and do not have any connection with each *** order to maximize the energy cost saving of each microgrid,the second case is proposed to provide a positive percentage of cost saving for *** microgrids can also trade energy with each other to get the most benefit by reducing the dependency on the main *** third case is similar to the second case,but its target is to indicate the scalability of the models based on the proposed TE technology by considering ten commercial ***,the simulation results indicate that microgrids can achieve the positive amount of cost saving in the second and third *** addition,the total energy cost of microgrids has been reduced in comparison with the first case.
