Today,in parallel with the use of imaging modalities increases in all fields,the use of imaging methods in pregnant women is *** has become an integral component of routine pregnancy *** provides parents with an early opportunity to learn about the current situation,including prenatal detection of anomalies or diseases,etiology,prognosis,and the availability of prenatal or postnatal *** imaging modalities,especially ultrasonography,are frequently used for imaging both maternal and fetal *** goal of this review was to address imaging modalities in terms of usefulness and safety,as well as to provide demonstrative examples for *** this review provides current information on selecting a safe imaging modality to evaluate the pregnant and the fetus,the safety of contrast medium use,and summarizes major pathological situations with demonstrative son-ographic images to assist radiologists and obstetricians in everyday practice.

The present letter to the editor is related to the study titled "Gallstone associatedceliac trunk thromboembolisms complicated with splenic infarction: A casereport". Although gallstones are relatively common diseases, its association withthromboembolism is not fully understood. We aim to emphasize the potentialmechanism of this relationship in this letter. In addition, we wanted to contributeto the causes of the spleen infarction and celiac trunk pathologies.

BACKGROUND This article examines primary hepatic angiosarcoma(PHA)and fat-poor angiomyolipoma(AML),two uncommon vascular *** decisions in these situations are frequently aided by pathology reports and imaging *** malignant tumors of the vascular endothelium include *** diagnosis that should not be overlooked when employing contrastenhanced MR and contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CT)imaging techniques is fat-poor AML,one of the uncommon vascular tumors of the *** both conditions,biopsy is the primary means of *** SUMMARY In our article,besides the diagnosis of PHA,fat-poor AML,one of the other rare vascular tumors of the liver,is *** the case,a 50-year-old female patient with VHL Syndrome was admitted to our hospital with nonspecific lesions such as right upper quadrant pain,weight loss,and *** ultrasonography(US)revealed a hypoechoic heterogeneous lesion with occasional faint *** computed tomography,it was observed as a hyperdense nodular lesion in segment *** resonance imaging(MRI)revealed that the lesion did not contain *** connection with the known history of VHL Syndrome,we first evaluated the possibility of ***,a histopathological sample was taken and the diagnosis was made as fat-poor AML with 5%fat *** In conclusion,PHA in our case report and fat-poor AML in our clinic are two uncommon liver vascular malignancies with comparable *** imaging techniques like contrast-enhanced US(CEUS),CECT,and CEMRI give us substantial advantages in both ***,a biopsy is used to provide the final diagnosis.

This study explored a Bayesian belief networks(BBNs)approach,developing two distinct models for prioritizing the seven indicators related to the“rapid response to and mitigation of the spread of an epidemic”category within the context of both the specifc category and the Global Health Security Index(GHS index).Utilizing data from the 2021 GHS index,the methodology involves rigorous preprocessing,the application of the augmented naive Bayes algorithm for structural learning,and k-fold *** fndings show unique perspectives in both BBN *** the mutual value of information analysis,“linking public health and security authorities”emerged as the key predictor for the“rapid response to and mitigation of the spread of an epidemic”category,while“emergency preparedness and response planning”assumed precedence for the GHS *** analysis highlighted the critical role of“emergency preparedness and response planning”and“linking public health and security authorities”in extreme performance states,with“access to communications infrastructure”and“trade and travel restrictions”exhibiting varied *** BBN models exhibit high predictive accuracy,achieving 83.3%and 82.3%accuracy for extreme states in“rapid response to and mitigation of the spread of an epidemic”and the GHS index,*** study contributes to the literature on GHS by modeling the dependencies among various indicators of the rapid response dimension of the GHS index and highlighting their relative importance based on the mutual value of information and sensitivity analyses.

Malignant melanoma is a malignancy of pigmentproducing cells(melanocytes) located predominantly in the skin. Nodal metastases are an adverse prognostic factor compromising long term patient survival. Therefore, accurate detection of regional nodal metastases is required for optimization of treatment. Computed tomography(CT) and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) remain the primary imaging modalities for regional staging of malignant melanoma. However, both modalities rely on size-related and morphological criteria to differentiate between benign and malignant lymph nodes, decreasing the sensitivity for detection of small metastases. Surgery is the primary mode of therapy for localized cutaneous melanoma. Patients should be followed up for metastases after surgical removal. We report here a case of inguinal lymph node enlargement with a genital vesicular lesion with a history of surgery for malignant melanoma on her thigh two years ago. CT and diffusion weighted-MRI(DW-MRI) were applied for the lymph node identification. DW-MRI revealed malignant lymph nodes due to malignant melanoma metastases correlation with pathological findings.

Turkey is in good condition in terms of solar energy because of the fact that, Turkey falls in between 40 degree North and 40 degree South latitude which is called as ＂sunbelt＂. The potential of producing electric from solar energy is very high in terms of potential of Turkey. According to a report by the Turkish Energy Ministry, Turkey＇s average rate of electrical energy consumption increased to levels 5.59 in the last 11 years. Moreover, solar energy may be primary energy source on account of the fact that, Turkey is in the position of a country importing energy and has signed Kyoto Protocol of carbon emission to atmosphere. The aim of the article is to give information about acts need to be done and present policies of Turkey on producing electric from solar energy. Beyond question, the policies of the government will determine the direction of developmental momentum of energy industry in Turkey as whole world will. The present support to production of electric from solar energy is not enough, so it is needed to give much higher level of support to this sector. In this context, it is essential to enhance guarantied tariff cost and the power of unlicensed electric production.

Alveolar echinococcosis(AE) of the liver is caused by the metacestode of the fox tapeworm Echinococcus multilocularis(E. multilocularis), which is endemic in many parts of the world. AE is a very aggressive and potentially fatal infestation which always affects the liver primarily and metastasizes to any part of the body. Without timely diagnosis and therapy, the prognosis is dismal, with death the eventual outcome in most cases. Diagnosis is usually based on findings at radiological imaging and in serological analyses. The alveolar cysts grow by exogenous proliferation and behave like a malignant neoplasm. Since AE lesions can occur almost anywhere in the body, familiarity with the spectrum of cross-sectional imaging appearances is advantageous. Therefore, AE lesions can cause physicians to generate a long list of differential diagnoses, including malignant tumors. Disseminated parasitic lesions in unusual locations with atypical imaging appearances may make it difficult to narrow the differential diagnosis. For diagnosis, ultrasonography(US) remains the first line examination. For a more accurate disease evaluation, aiming to guide the surgical strategy, computed tomography(CT), magnetic resonance imaging(MRI), including magnetic resonance cholangiography(MRC) imaging, are of importance, providing useful complementary information. However, making the correct diagnosis is possible if imaging findings are correlated with appropriate clinical findings. We present an overview of the radiological patterns produced by E. multilocularis lesions as seen on US, CT and MRI and discuss the interventional procedures in hepatic AE lesions.
