A high-entropy-designed cathode with V5+-V2+ multi-redox for high energy density sodium-ion batteries

Na3V2（PO4）3（NVP） is gifted with fast Na+conductive NASICON *** it still suffers from low electronic conductivity and inadequate energy ***,a high-entropy modification strategy is realized by doping V3+site with ga3+/Cr3+/Al3+/Fe3+/In3+simultaneously(***3V2-x（gaCrAlFeIn）x（PO4）3;x=0,0.04,0.06,and 0.08) to stimulate the V5+■V2+reversible multi-electron *** configuration high-entropy can effectively suppress the structural collapse,enhance the redox reversibility in high working voltage（4.0 V）,and optimize the electronic induced *** in-situ X-ray powder diffraction and in-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy tests efficaciously confirm the robust structu ral recovery and far lower polarization throughout an entire charge-discharge cycle during 1.6-4.3 V,***,the density functional theory calculations clarify the stronger metallicity of high-entropy electrode than the bare that is derived from the more mobile free electrons surrounding the vicinity of Fermi *** grace of high-entropy design and multi-electron transfer reactions,the optimal Na3V1.7（gaCrAlFeIn）0.06（PO4）3can exhibit perfect cycling/rate performances(90.97%@5000 cycles@30 C;112 mA h g-1@10 C and 109 mA h g-1@30 C,2.0-4.3 V).Furthermore,it can supply ultra-high185 mA h g-1capacity with fa ntastic energy density(522 W h kg-1) in half-cells（1.4-4.3 V）,and competitive capacity(121 mA h g-1) as well as energy density(402 W h kg-1) in full-cells（1.6-4.1 V）,demonstrating enormous application potential for sodium-ion batteries.

The role of innate immunity in diabetic nephropathy and their therapeutic consequences

Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is an enduring condition that leads to inflammation and affects a substantial number of individuals with diabetes worldwide. A gradual reduction in glomerular filtration and emergence of proteins in the urine are typical aspects of DN, ultimately resulting in renal failure. Mounting evidence suggests that immunological and inflammatory factors are crucial for the development of DN. Therefore, the activation of innate immunity by resident renal and immune cells is critical for initiating and perpetuating inflammation. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are an important group of receptors that identify patterns and activate immune responses and inflammation. meanwhile, inflammatory responses in the liver, pancreatic islets, and kidneys involve inflammasomes and chemokines that generate pro-inflammatory cytokines. Moreover, the activation of the complement cascade can be triggered by glycated proteins. This review highlights recent findings elucidating how the innate immune system contributes to tissue fibrosis and organ dysfunction, ultimately leading to renal failure. This review also discusses innovative approaches that can be utilized to modulate the innate immune responses in DN for therapeutic purposes.

The Short-Duration Heavy Rainfall in Different Quadrants of Northeast China Cold Vortices

The Northeast China cold vortex(NCCV)is one of the main synoptic-scale systems causing short-duration heavy rainfall(SDHR)in Northeast *** conditions(e.g.,water vapor,instability,and vertical wind shear)are known to be distinctly different over the four quadrants of NCCVs,rendering prediction of the SDHR related to NCCVs(NCCV_SDHR)more *** on 5-yr hourly rainfall observations from 3196 automatic weather stations and ERA5 reanalysis data,10,232 NCCV_SDHR events were identified and divided into four quadrant groups according to their relative position to the center of the NCCV(CVC).The results show that the southeast quadrant features the highest frequency of SDHR,with stronger intensity,longer duration,and wider coverage;and the SDHR in different quadrants presents different formation mechanisms and varied temporal evolution.A new coordinate system is established relative to the CVC that uses the CVC as the origin and the radius of the NCCV(r CV)as the unit *** this new coordinate system,all of the NCCV_SDHR events in the 5-yr study period are *** is found that the occurrence frequency of NCCV_SDHR initially increases and then decreases with increasing distance from the *** highest frequency occurs mainly between 0.8 and 2.5 times r CV from the CVC in the southeast *** can be attributed to the favorable conditions,such as convergence of the low-level shear line and abundant water vapor,which are concentrated in this ***,high-frequency NCCV_SDHR larger than 50 mm(NCCV_SDHR50)is observed to be closer to the *** NCCV_SDHR50occurs,the NCCV is in closer proximity to the subtropical high,resulting in stronger low-level convergence and more abundant water ***,there are lower lifting condensation levels and stronger 0-6-and 0-1-km vertical wind shears in these *** findings provide a valuable reference for more accurate prediction of NCCV_SDHR.

Mars exploration——In situ K-Ar dating of jarosite

To accurately determine the chronological framework of climatic variations recorded by various Martian terrains, the absolute ages of Martian events and cratering rate need to be constrained by either in situ dating or returned samples. In situ K-Ar dating is currently a more plausible dating technique as compared with sample return. Jarosite(KFe_(3)[SO_(4)]_(2)[OH]_(6)) is the only confirmed K sulfate mineral that is widely present on Mars, as indicated by in situ detection, orbital remote sensing, and meteorite studies. Jarosite can be used for precise K-Ar and (40)Ar/(39)Ar dating. The preservation of jarosite on Mars provides information about the nature and duration of aqueous processes on the Martian surface. Different ages of Martian jarosite represent the key to constraining the transition from Martian surface water activity to arid climatic conditions. This paper summarizes recent advances in our knowledge of the spatial distribution of Martian jarosite, its mineralogical properties and stability on Mars, the Ar diffusion kinetics of jarosite, and the current status of in situ K-Ar dating. Moreover, we examine the key scientific issues to be addressed for in situ K-Ar dating of jarosite and Martian sample return missions, and discuss future research directions.

A new fluorocarbon adhesive:Inhibiting agglomeration during combustion of propellant via efficient F-Al_(2)O_(3) preignition reaction

Inhibiting the agglomeration of molten aluminum particles packed in the binder network is a promising scheme to achieve efficient combustion of solid *** this investigation,the hydroxyl-terminated structured fluorinated alcohol compound(PFD)was introduced to modify the traditional polyethylene glycol/polytetrahydrofuran block copolymerization(HTPE)binder;that is,a unique fluorinated polyether(FTPE)binder was synthesized by embedding fluorinated organic segments into the HTPE binder via crosslinking *** FTPE was applied in aluminum-based propellants for the first *** to the complete release of fluorinated organic active segments in the range of 300℃to 400℃,the burning rate of FTPEbased propellant increased from 4.07(0%PFD)to 6.36 mm/s(5%PFD),increased by 56.27%under 1 *** reaction heat of FTPE propellants increased from 5.95(0%PFD)to 7.18 MJ/kg(5%PFD)under 3.0 MPa,indicating that HTPE binder modified with PFD would be conducive to inhibiting the D90 of condensed combustion products(CCPs)dropped by 81.84%from 75.46(0%PFD)to 13.71μm(5%PFD)under 3.0 MPa,in consistent with the significant reduction of aluminum agglomerates observed on the quenched burning surface of the *** results demonstrated that a novel FTPE binder with PFD can release fluorinated organic active segments,which motivate preignition reaction with the alumina shell in the early stage of aluminum combustion,and then enhance the melting diffusion effect of aluminum to inhibit the agglomeration.

The construction of C-N bonds is of great importance in the fields of biology,medicine,chemistry and materials ***,the replacement of organic base from pyridine to piperidine in the Knoevenagel condensation process unexpectedly yields a series of novel organic molecules containing C-N ***,the synthesis method does not require any external transition-metals catalysis,and photo-/***,when the new compound 1b is added as a third component to a well-known binary system of PM6:Y6,the efficiency of the organic solar cell is significantly improved,resulting in an outstanding efficiency of 18.0%,which is one of the highest values reported to date for PM6:Y6-based ternary organic solar cells.

Dynamic-based model for calculating the boulder impact force in debris flow

The boulder impact force in debris flow is generally calculated by static methods such as the cantilever beam ***,these methods cannot describe the dynamic scenario of boulder collision on structures,so the inertia and damping effects of the structures are not involved causing an overestimation on the boulder impact *** order to address this issue,a dynamic-based model for calculating the boulder impact force of a debris flow was proposed in this study,and the dynamic characteristics of a cantilever beam with multiple degrees of freedom under boulder collision were *** using the drop-weight method to simulate boulders within debris flow,seven experiments of drop-weight impacting the cantilever beam were used to calibrate the error of the dynamicbased *** indicate that the dynamic-based model is able to reconstruct the impact force history on the cantilever beam during impact time and the error of dynamic-based model is 15.3%in calculating boulder impact force,significantly outperforming the cantilever beam model’s error of 285%.Therefore,the dynamic-based model can overcome the drawbacks of the static-based models and provide a more reliable theoretical foundation for the engineering design of debris flow control structures.

Dendrites growth,chemical corrosion,and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)on zinc anodes are the main barriers for the development of aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs).Constructing interfacial protec-tive layer is an effective way to alleviate the side reactions on the ***,Cu/Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(2)MXene(CMX)with high zincophilic and hydrophobic property is prepared by the lewis molten salts etching method,and the CMX interface protection layer is constructed by a simple spin *** CMX coat-ing layer can provide abundant nucleation sites and uniformize the charge distribution through the zin-cophilic Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(2)MXene matrix,leading to homogenous Zn *** addition,the hydrophobic coat-ing contained anti-corrosive Cu nanoparticles can prevent the Zn anode from the electrolyte,beneficial for suppressing the chemical corrosion and ***,the stable and reversible Zn plating/stripping is achieved for the Zn anode coated by the CMX,which exhibits the lifespan of over 1400 h at 0.5 mA cm^(−2),and even can steadily run for 700 h with 65 mV at 10 mA cm^(−2).Furthermore,CMX@Zn shows a high coulombic efficiency of over 100%for 3800 cycles,which indicates that the CMX@Zn electrode has excellent stability and reversibility of Zn stripping/*** full batteries assembled with ZnCoMnO/C(ZCM)cathodes also exhibits higher capacity(450.6 mAh g^(−1)at 0.1 A g^(−1))and cycle stability(capacity retention of 70%after 1500 cycles).This work enhanced the lifespan of AZIBs and broaden the research of multifunctional coating layer to other secondary batteries based on metal anodes.

Distributed active vibration control for helicopter based on diffusion collaboration

The active vibration control technology has been successfully applied to several helicopter ***,with the increasing of control scale,traditional centralized control algorithms are experiencing significant increase of computational complexity and physical implementation *** address this issue,a diffusion collaboration-based distributed Filtered-x Least mean Square algorithm applied to active vibration control is proposed,drawing inspiration from the concept of data fusion in wireless sensor *** algorithm distributes the computation load to each node,and constructs the active vibration control network topology of large-scale system by discarding the weak coupling secondary paths between nodes,achieving distributed active vibration *** order to thoroughly validate the effectiveness and superiority of this algorithm,a helicopter fuselage model is designed as the research ***,the excellent vibration reduction performance of the proposed algorithm is confirmed through ***,specialized node control units are developed,which utilize STM32 microcontroller as the processing ***,a distributed control system is constructed based on multi-processor *** on this foundation,a large-scale active vibration control experimental platform is *** on the platform,experiments are carried out,involving the 4-input 4-output system and the 8-input 8-output *** experimental results demonstrate that under steady-state harmonic excitation,the proposed algorithm not only ensures control effectiveness but also reduces computational complexity by 50%,exhibiting faster convergence speed compared with traditional centralized *** time-varying external excitation,the proposed algorithm demonstrates rapid tracking of vibration changes,with vibration amplitudes at all controlled points declining by over 94%,proving the strong robustness and adaptive capability of the algorithm
