Sesame(Sesamum indicum L.)is an ancient oilseed crop of the Pedaliaceae family with high oil content and potential health *** RELATED SEQUENCE(SRS)proteins are the transcription factors(TFs)specific to plants that contain RING-like zinc finger domain and are associated with the regulation of several physiological and biochemical *** also play vital roles in plant growth and development such as root formation,leaf development,floral development,hormone biosynthesis,signal transduction,and biotic and abiotic stress ***,the SRS gene family was not reported in sesame *** this study,identification,molecular characterization,phylogenetic relationship,cis-acting regulatory elements,protein-protein interaction,syntenic relationship,duplication events and expression pattern of SRS genes were analyzed in *** identified total six SiSRS genes on seven different linkage groups in the *** genome by comparing with the other species,including the model plant Arabidopsis *** SiSRS genes showed variation in their structure like2–5 exons and 1–4 *** other species,SiSRS proteins also contained‘RING-like zinc finger'and‘LRP1'***,the SiSRS genes were clustered into subclasses via phylogenetic analysis with proteins of ***,***,and some other plant *** cis-acting regulatory elements analysis revealed that the promoter region of SiSRS4(SIN_1011561)showed the highest 13 and 16 elements for light-and phytohormone-responses whereas,SiSRS1(SIN_1015187)showed the highest 15 elements for *** ABREs,or ABA-responsive elements,were found in a maximum of 8 copies in the SiSRS3(SIN 1009100).Moreover,the available Rna-seq based expression of SiSRS genes revealed variation in expression patterns between stress-treated and non-treated samples,especially in drought and salinity conditions *** SiSRS genes like SiSRS1(SIN_1015187)and SiSRS5(SIN_1021065),also exhibited variabl

Pampus argenteus and Pampus chinensis form the high-value demersal Pomfret fishery of ***,due to a monotonic decline in catches over the last five years,it is essential to explore the current stock status concerning the removal rate to ensure the sustainability of this ***,given the reliability and minimal data requirements,this study employed an extended Bayesian State-Space Surplus Production Model,JABBA(Just Another Bayesian Biomass Assessment),to assess the stock *** results revealed that the stock biomass of the Pomfret fishery in the final year of the time series is significantly lower than BMSY,the biomass required to produce ***,this study recommends a yearly catch limit(TAC)of 10,000 metric tons to prevent further depletion of the stock ***,to avoid growth overfishing by allowing all immature fishes to reproduce at least once before being caught,this study also calculated the optimum length(Lopt)for catch for both species at which biologically maximum yield and revenue can be *** estimated Lopt is 25 cm for *** and 30 cm for ***,and not to capture fishes with lengths lower than these limits,this study further calculated the minimum mesh size limits for gill and set bag nets is 7.5 *** the mesh size regulation was estimated using length-based reference points derived from an empirical equation,this regulation can be used as an associate reference point when TAC is applied to assure the sustainability of this fishery.

The Weather Research and Forecasting model coupled with Chemistry(WRF-Chem),a type of online coupled chemistry-meteorology model(CCMM),considers the interaction between air quality and meteorology to improve air quality *** data assimilation(DA)can be used to reduce uncertainty in meteorological field,which is one factor causing prediction uncertainty in the *** this study,WRF-Chem and three-dimensional variational DA were used to examine the impact of meteorological DA on air quality and meteorological forecasts over the Korean *** nesting model domains were configured over East Asia(outer domain)and the Korean Peninsula(inner domain).Three experiments were conducted by using different DA domains to determine the optimal model domain for the meteorological *** the meteorological DA was performed in the outer domain or both the outer and inner domains,the root-mean-square error(RMSE),bias of the predicted particulate matter(PM)concentrations,and the RMSE of predicted meteorological variables against the observations were smaller than those in the experiment where the meteorological DA was performed only in the inner *** indicates that the improvement of the synoptic meteorological fields by DA in the outer domain enhanced the meteorological initial and boundary conditions for the inner domain,subsequently improving air quality and meteorological *** to the experiment without meteorological DA,the RMSE and bias of the meteorological and PM variables were smaller in the experiments with *** effect of meteorological DA on the improvement of PM predictions lasted for approximately 58-66 h,depending on the ***,the uncertainty reduction in the meteorological initial condition by the meteorological DA contributed to a reduction of the forecast errors of both meteorology and air quality.

Chromium(Cr)is one of the most prominent contaminants due to its cumulative negative effects on *** may be able to mitigate the unfavorable effects of Cr in *** this study,the rohu Labeo rohita(3.02±0.37 g)were exposed to Cr with or without probiotics,representing control(C;without Cr or probiotics),treatment one(T1;Cr at a dose of 4 mg/L),treatment two(T2;probiotics at a dose of 1 ml/L)and treatment three(T3;Cr at a dose of 4 mg/L+probiotics at a dose of 1 ml/L)for 42 *** results showed that weight gain(WG)and specific growth rate(SGR)were inhibited significantly in T1,while those substantially increased in T2(probiotics)compared to *** the other hand,WG and SGR were regained as compared to C in *** significantly lowest feed conversion ratio(FCR)was found in T2,and moderate FCR was recorded in C and T3,while it was significantly highest in *** mortality was observed in C and T2,while 20%mortality was recorded in T1,and decreased mortality was recorded in T3(10%).Exposure to Cr(T1)caused lower hemoglobin and higher glucose levels;however,the use of probiotics reversed these effects in T3(Cr+probiotics).The frequencies of nuclear(notched nuclei,nuclear bridges,and karyopyknosis)and cellular(tear drop shaped,fusion,and twin)abnormalities of erythrocytes increased in the Cr-exposed group(T1);however,these were recovered after probiotic administration(T3).The findings of the present study suggest that probiotics play a beneficial role in reducing the toxicities of Cr in rohu.

Graphene oxide(GO)is a 2D coating material used to improve fiber optics sensors’response to relative *** resonators(MBRs)have garnered more attention as sensing media *** MBR with a 190μm diameter was coated with ***,tapered fiber light coupling was used to investigate the relative humidity sensing performance in the range of 35—70%RH at 25℃.The MBR showed a higher Q factor before and after GO *** sensitivity of 0.115 dB/%RH was recorded with the 190μm GO-coated MBR sample compared to a sensitivity of 0.022 dB/%RH for the uncoated MBR *** results show that the MBR can be used in fiber optic sensing applications for environmental sensing.
