Background One Health approach is crucial to tackling complex global public health threats at the interface of humans, animals, and the environment. As outlined in the One Health Joint Plan of Action, the international One Health community includes stakeholders from different sectors. Supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, an academic community for One Health action has been proposed with the aim of promoting the understanding and real-world implementation of One Health approach and contribution towards the Sustainable Development Goals for a healthy *** text The proposed academic community would contribute to generating high-quality scientific evidence, distilling local experiences as well as fostering an interconnected One Health culture and mindset, among various stakeholders on different levels and in all sectors. The major scope of the community covers One Health governance, zoonotic diseases, food security, antimicrobial resistance, and climate change along with the research agenda to be developed. The academic community will be supported by two committees, including a strategic consultancy committee and a scientific steering committee, composed of influential scientists selected from the One Health information database. A workplan containing activities under six objectives is proposed to provide research support, strengthen local capacity, and enhance global *** The proposed academic community for One Health action is a crucial step towards enhancing communication, coordination, collaboration, and capacity building for the implementation of One Health. By bringing eminent global experts together, the academic community possesses the potential to generate scientific evidence and provide advice to local governments and international organizations, enabling the pursuit of common goals, collaborative policies, and solutions to misaligned interests.

The Cross-domain Heuristic Search Challenge(CHeSC)is a competition focused on creating efficient search algorithms adaptable to diverse problem *** hyper-heuristics are a class of algorithms that dynamically choose heuristics during the search *** selection hyper-heuristics have different imple-mentation ***,comparisons between them are lacking in the literature,and previous works have not highlighted the beneficial and detrimental implementation methods of different *** question is how to effectively employ them to produce an efficient search ***,the algorithms that competed in the inaugural CHeSC have not been collectively *** work conducts a review analysis of the top twenty competitors from this competition to identify effective and ineffective strategies influencing algorithmic performance.A summary of the main characteristics and classification of the algorithms is *** analysis underlines efficient and inefficient methods in eight key components,including search points,search phases,heuristic selection,move acceptance,feedback,Tabu mechanism,restart mechanism,and low-level heuristic parameter *** review analyzes the components referencing the competition’s final leaderboard and discusses future research directions for these *** effective approaches,identified as having the highest quality index,are mixed search point,iterated search phases,relay hybridization selection,threshold acceptance,mixed learning,Tabu heuristics,stochastic restart,and dynamic *** are also compared with recent trends in *** work enhances the understanding of selection hyper-heuristics,offering valuable insights for researchers and practitioners aiming to develop effective search algorithms for diverse problem domains.

The standard solid-state reaction method was employed to synthesize the polycrystalline Ca0.9Sr0.1Mn1−xMoxO3 (CSMMO with x = 0.00, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, and 0.08) ceramics and each composition was sintered at 1300˚C for 4 hours. The crystal structure, microstructure, optical properties, electrical properties, complex initial permeability, and DC magnetization of the prepared compositions were carried out. The compound exhibited perovskite structure with the transformation of phase from orthorhombic symmetry for x = 0.00 to x = 0.04 samples into a tetragonal symmetry for the samples x = 0.06 and x = 0.08. The lattice constant was found to be enhanced with the doping of Mo concentration. The mean grain size was estimated in the micrometer, with values from 1.3045 to 3.0124 µm. Energy band gap (Eg) was determined for each composition and the magnitudes of Eg were lying between 1.85 - 4.00 eV. The Eg values firstly decreased with the doping content up to 2% and, then, increased for 4% to 6% Mo contents, where it again very slightly decreased for 8% Mo content. The lowest value of Eg was obtained for the x = 0.02 composition. The FTIR spectra revealed the existence of a metal oxide band in each of the prepared samples and supported the formation of a single-phase compound of synthesized material without any impurity, as confirmed by the XRD analysis. The electrical properties, such as resistivity and AC conductivity, were collected using the Impedance analyzer at room temperature. The resistivity and AC conductivity increased with the addition of dopant concentration. The frequency-dependent conductivity spectra showed three distinct regions. The complex initial permeability (μ′) was found to be enhanced with the addition of Mo and the highest value was noticed the 6% Mo dopant sample. On the other hand, the lowest loss factor was obtained for the samples x ≥ 0.06. The M-H hysteresis loops of various Ca0.9Sr0.1Mn1−xMoxO3 ceramics were measured both at room temperature (300 K

The objective of this study was to evaluate and recommend an asphalt mixture design with emerging additive technologies that would provide superior performance against asphalt concrete(AC)stripping and *** achieve this objective,a laboratory test program was developed to evaluate the use of nanomaterials(nanoclay and graphene nanoplatelet),an emerging anti-stripping agent(adhere),and warm-mix asphalt technologies(ZycoTherm,Sasobit,and EvoTherm).Two mix types were evaluated,which were a stone-matrix asphalt(SMA)and a dense-graded binder *** addition,the modified Lottman test(AASHTO T 283)and the indirect tensile asphalt cracking test(IDEAL-CT)test were used as performance indicators of moisture damage resistance and cracking *** were analyzed statistically to identify and quantify the effects of the design variables and selected additives on the performance,moisture damage resistance,and durability of asphalt *** on the cracking test results,a superior cracking resistance performance was observed with ZycoTherm,irrespective of the mix *** had the lowest average cracking indices for both mix types,which suggest that it would not perform as well as the other additives in terms of cracking ***,SMA mixes displayed greater cracking resistance than the dense-graded mixtures,which may have been the result of the reclaimed asphalt pavement(RAP)material used in the dense-graded mix and its lower asphalt binder *** terms of moisture resistance,both nanomaterials(graphene nanoplatelet and nanoclay)did not perform well as they did not meet the minimum required tensile strength ratio(TSR)criterion(>0.80).In addition,nanomaterials showed the lowest TSR values in both mix types suggesting that their effectiveness against moisture-induced damage may not be as good as warm-mix *** the other hand,warm-mix additives were expected to show enhanced performance in terms of moisture resistance as compared to the o

In this study,the sensitivity of a novel dehumidification requirement model(DehumReq)is analyzed to evaluate the effect of the predominant factors on the dehumidification needs of the *** hourly dehumidification demand and sensitivity coefficient(SC)are estimated for three different seasons:warm(July),mild(May),and cold(November),by using the local sensitivity analysis *** on SC values,the solar radiation,air exchange,leaf area index(LAI),and indoor setpoints(temperature,relative humidity(RH),and water vapor partial pressure(WVPP))have significant impact on the dehumidifi-cation needs,and the impact varies from season to *** parameters have a higher SC in summer,whereas solar radiation and LAI have a higher SC in mild *** dehumidification load increases 4 times of its base value with increasing solar radiation by 200 W/m^(2),and the highest LAI(10)caused 5 times increment of the *** changing of WVPP from its base value(1.5 kPa)to maximum(2.9 kPa)reduces the load 70%in *** exchange was found to be the most crucial parameter because it is the main dehumidification approach that has a large range and is easily adjustable for any *** air exchange by ventilation or infiltration will reduce the dehumidification load to zero in May and November and minimizes it to only nighttime load in *** the other parameters,higher ambient air RH and indoor air speed will result in higher the dehumidification load;whereas higher inner surface condensation will result in lower dehumidifi-cation *** result of this study will assist in the selection of the most efficient moisture control strategies and techniques for greenhouse humidity control.

A nozzle inclination angle and swirl combustor inside the low-tar biomass(LTB)gasifier reactor were tested and optimized to evaluate these effects on tar reduction to design tar-free producer *** tar reduction process is mainly based on the concept of a swirling flow created by the nozzle inclination angle,with the inclination angle of 55◦to the radial line,allowing good mixing between pyrolysis gases and gasifying agents.A separate swirl combustor has created large internal annular and reverses flow zones with the help of swirl flow,resulting in homogenized temperature inside the combustor and providing longer residence time;both have a positive effect on the combustion of mixed gasifying air-pyrolysis gases by the thermal cracking in the partial oxidation *** ratio(RR)and combustion degree of volatiles are the two optimization parameters for evaluating the performance of NIA and swirl *** result observed that outstanding tar reduction occurred in this novel *** 86.5 and 12.8%of tar compounds are broken down in the partial oxidation zone and pyrolysis zone using the novel swirl combustor and NIA,respectively;gas outlet has observed producer gas having tar concentration of less than 1%.The optimization results reveal that a lower recycling ratio(recycle gas/gasifying air)and a higher combustion degree of volatiles perform better in biomass ***,this system generated producer gas with the tar concentration at an extremely low level of 7.4 mg/Nm^(3)for a biomass moisture content of 9%and appeared the lower heating value of 4.6–5.1 MJ/Nm^(3).This lower tar concentration might be directly coupled with an internal combustion engine or a gas turbine for power generation.
