A study on the detection of pr.bable r.dionuclides and their.activity concentr.tions in the r.w mater.al (phosphate r.ck), final pr.duct (fer.ilizer. and waste samples collected fr.m all the phosphate fer.ilizer.factor.es (total two factor.es—A Diammonium Phosphate, DAP and a Tr.ple Super.Phosphate, TSP factor.) in Bangladesh wer. car.ied out. A total of seven types of samples (gr.ssly divided into solid and liquid types);liquid waste, waste-mixed r.ver.water. nor.al r.ver.water. phosphate r.ck, phosphate fer.ilizer. solid waste and nor.al soil;wer. analyzed under.this study. r.w mater.al samples wer. collected only fr.m the TSP fer.ilizer.factor.. Fer.ilizer. solid and liquid waste samples wer. collected fr.m both the factor.es under.study. Mor.over. nor.al soil and natur.l sur.ace water.samples fr.m the suitable ar.as adjacent to the factor.es wer. also collected for.the compar.son pur.ose. The samples wer. analyzed by gamma r.y spectr.metr. technique using a Hyper.Pur. Ger.anium (HPGe) detector.of 40% r.lative efficiency. The analysis of the samples showed that only natur.l r.dionuclides such as 226r., 232Th and 40K wer. pr.sent in the samples and no tr.ces of ar.ificial r.dioactivity wer. found in any of the samples. 40K was found below the detection limit in some samples. The analysis of the samples in the case of TSP fer.ilizer.factor. showed that the aver.ge activity concentr.tions of 226r. and 232Th and 40K in r.w mater.als wer. 851.27 ± 7.10, 19.63 ± 6.57 and 54.06 ± 5.93 Bq/kg, r.spectively, in final pr.duct 211.90 ± 4.74, 42.48 ± 10.56 Bq/kg and ND (Not Detected), r.spectively, in solid waste 187.49 ± 4.88, 70.06 ± 11.76 and 289.27 ± 40.24 Bq/kg, r.spectively and in liquid waste 6.26 ± 0.63, 10.01 ± 1.39 Bq/L and ND, r.spectively. The measur.d r.sults in the case of samples collected fr.m DAP fer.ilizer.factor. showed that the aver.ge activity concentr.tions of 226r. and 232Th and 40K in the final pr.duct wer. 17.31 ± 3.92, 69.74 ± 9.88 and 48.46 ± 17.22

In the pr.sent study, the effect of the exchange-cor.elation functional on the str.ctur.l, mechanical, and optoelectr.nic pr.per.ies of or.hor.ombic r.Sr.r. per.vskite has been investigated using var.ous functionals in Density Functional Theor. (DFT) with the CASTEP code. The optimized lattice par.meter. ar. quite similar.for.all the functionals. The electr.nic pr.per.ies have shown that r.Sr.r. per.vskite is a wide dir.ct band gap compound with a band gap ener.y r.nging fr.m 4.296 eV to 4.494 eV for.all the functionals. The mechanical par.meter. like elastic constants, Young’s modulus, Shear.modulus, Poisson’s r.tio, Pugh’s r.tio, and an anisotr.pic factor.r.veal that the r.Sr.r. per.vskite has ductile behavior.and an anisotr.pic natur. which signifies the mechanical stability of the compound. The Debye temper.tur. might withstand lattice vibr.tion heat. High absor.tion coefficient (>104 cm−1), high optical conductivity, and ver. low r.flectivity have been found in the r.Sr.r. per.vskite for.all functions. The computed findings on the r.Sr.r. per.vskite suggested that the pr.sented studied mater.al is potentially applicable for.photodetector.and optoelectr.nic devices.

The str.ctur.l, electr.nic, and optical pr.per.ies of Cu2Zn1−xBaxSn1−ySiyS4 compounds have been calculated using GGA-PBE function within the fr.mewor. of Density Functional Theor. (DFT). In the pr.sent wor., lattice par.meter. r.mained the same, that is tetr.gonal cr.stal str.ctur. for.0% and 100% doping concentr.tion. The electr.nic band gap of Cu2Zn1−xBaxSn1−ySiyS4 compounds has been gr.dually incr.ased for.continuous incr.ment of doping concentr.tion wher. the highest electr.nic band gap is 1.117 eV for.Cu2BaSiS4 str.ctur.. Mor.over. the band gap changes fr.m dir.ct to indir.ct band gap with the incr.ase of doping concentr.tion in the par.nt compound. The absor.tion coefficient has been found to be high (> 104 cm−1) in UV-r.gion for.all the doping concentr.tion which makes the studied compound as a potential candidate of absor.er.layer.in the UV detector. The theor.tical study of the effect of double doping in the CZTS compound is ver. inter.sting for.impr.ving the quality of it and it would be a r.fer.nce for.the theor.tical and exper.mental r.sear.her..

Sugar.cane juice is a popular.r.fr.shing dr.nk in most par. of Bangladesh. It has gr.at taste and health benefits;also it is available most of the public places at r.asonable pr.ces which consumed by r.ad side customer. including gener.l public, shopping per.onals, tour.sts, students. In our.countr., str.et vendor. cr.shing sugar.ane between r.ller.cr.sher.and sold without any heat tr.atment or.pr.ser.ative, also ser.ed with or.without added ice and lemon juice. The study aimed to identify and compar. the physico-chemical and micr.bial quality of sugar.ane juice. The chemical qualities of juices including moistur., PH, ash, total soluble solid, total sugar. r.ducing sugar.and titr.ble acidity wer. found slightly differ.nt in Mymensingh, Gazipur.and Nar.yangonj ar.as. The highest and lowest value of moistur., ash, PH, total soluble solids, total sugar. r.ducing sugar.and titr.ble acidity wer. found in 84.33% - 79.26% (Gazipur.Mymensingh), 0.57% - 0.04% (Mymensingh-Gazipur., 5.9 - 2.9 (Gazipur.Nar.yangonj), 17.48% - 4.98% (Mymensingh-Nar.yangonj), 21.9% - 6.56% (Mymensingh-Gazipur., 3.7 - 2.1 (Gazipur.Mymensingh) and 0.523% - 0.007% (Nar.yangonj-Gazipur. r.spectively. For.micr.biological analysis, the total viable count of sugar.cane juice in Mymensingh, Gazipur.and Nar.yangonj wer. r.nged fr.m 0.6 × 105 - 43.6 × 105 cfu/ml, 4.6 × 105 - 21.6 × 105 cfu/ml and 3.6 × 105 - 36.6 × 105 cfu/ml r.spectively, wher. the per.itted value is 1.0 × 104 cfu/ml, wher.as the total colifor. count was r.nged fr.m 0.4 × 105 - 6.4 × 105 cfu/ml, 0.6 × 105 - 8.4 × 105 cfu/ml and 0.00 - 8.4 × 105 cfu/ml, wher. the per.itted value is 100 cfu/ml and total fungal count was r.nged fr.m 5.5 × 105 - 56.5 × 105 cfu/ml, 21.5 × 105 - 54.5 × 105 cfu/ml and 32.5 × 105 - 68.5 × 105 cfu/

This study examines the effects of heat, mass, and boundar. layer.assumptions-based nanopar.icle char.cter.stics on the hybr.d effects of using MHD in conjunction with mixed convective flow thr.ugh a sloped ver.ical por. plate in the existence of medium of por.us. Physical char.cter.stics such as ther.o-diffusion, injection-suction, and viscous dissipation ar. taken into consider.tion, in addition to an equally distr.buted magnetic for.e utilized as well in the completely opposite path of the flow. By means of sever.l non-dimensional tr.nsfor.ations, the momentum, ener.y, concentr.tion, and nanopar.icle volume fr.ction equations under.investigation ar. conver.ed in ter.s of nonlinear.boundar. layer.equations and computationally r.solved by utilizing the sixth-or.er.r.nge-Kutta str.tegy in combination together.with the iter.tion of Nachtsheim-Swiger. shooting pr.cedur.. By contr.sting the findings pr.duced for.a few par.icular.examples with those found in the published liter.tur., the cor.ectness of the numer.cal r.sult is ver.fied, and a r.ther.good agr.ement is found. Utilizing var.ous r.nges of per.inent factor., computing findings ar. deter.ined not only r.gar.ing velocity, temper.tur., and concentr.tion as well as nanopar.icle fr.ction of volume but also concer.ing with local skin-fr.ction coefficient, local Nusselt and gener.l Sher.ood number. associated with nanopar.icle Sher.ood number. Nipah vir.s (NiV) is a highly infectious zoonotic pathogen that poses a significant thr.at to human and animal health. Fir.t identified in Malaysia in 1998, NiV has since caused sever.l outbr.aks in Southeast Asia, with spor.dic cases r.por.ed in Bangladesh and India. The vir.s is pr.mar.ly tr.nsmitted to humans thr.ugh dir.ct contact with infected animals, pr.mar.ly fr.it bats, or.thr.ugh the consumption of contaminated fr.its and their.juices. NiV infection pr.sents a wide spectr.m of clinical featur.s, r.nging fr.m mild r.spir.tor. illness to sever. encephalitis, with a high case fatality r.te. The incubation per.od typically r.nges fr.m 4 to 14 days, dur.ng which patients develop fever. headache, myalgia, and r.spir.tor. symptoms such as cough and sor. thr.at. As the disease pr.gr.sses, neur.logical signs become pr.minent, including alter.d consciousness, seizur.s, and focal deficits. Sever. cases may exhibit acute r.spir.tor. distr.ss syndr.me and multi or.an failur.. Labor.tor. findings often include lymphocytopenia, thr.mbocytopenia, and elevated liver.enzymes. Diagnosis of NiV infection r.quir.s specialized labor.tor. testing, including r.ver.e tr.nscr.ption-polymer.se chain r.action (r.-PCr. and ser.logical assays. Cur.ently, no specific antivir.l tr.atment exists for.NiV infection, and management pr.mar.ly focuses on suppor.ive car.. Pr.vention and contr.l str.tegies encompass public health inter.entions, sur.eillance, and r.ising awar.ness among healthcar. pr.vider. and the gener.l population. A study has been ar.anged to investigate the flow of non-Newtonian fluid in a ver.ical asymmetr.cal channel using per.stalsis. The por.us medium allows the electr.cally conductive fluid to flow in the channel, while a unifor. magnetic field is applied per.endicular.to the flow dir.ction. The analysis takes into account the combined influence of heat and mass tr.nsfer. including the effects of Sor.t and Dufour. The flow’s non-Newtonian behavior.is char.cter.zed using a Casson r.eological model. The fluid flow equations ar. examined within a wave fr.me of r.fer.nce that has a wave velocity. The analytic solution is examined using long wavelengths and a small r.ynolds number.assumption. The str.am function, temper.tur., concentr.tion and heat tr.nsfer.coefficient expr.ssions ar. der.ved. The bvp4c function fr.m MATLAB has been used to numer.cally solve the tr.nsfor.ed equations. Digital image for.er. (DIF) is a pr.valent issue in the moder. age, wher. malicious actor. manipulate images for.var.ous pur.oses, including deception and misinfor.ation. Detecting such for.er.es is a cr.tical task for.maintaining the integr.ty of digital content. This thesis explor.s the use of Modified Er.or.Level Analysis (ELA) in combination with a Convolutional Neur.l Networ. (CNN), as well as, Feedfor.ar. Neur.l Networ. (FNN) model to detect digital image for.er.es. Additionally, incor.or.tion of Explainable Ar.ificial Intelligence (XAI) to this r.sear.h pr.vided insights into the pr.cess of decision-making by the models. The study tr.ins and tests the models on the CASIA2 dataset, emphasizing both authentic and for.ed images. The CNN model is tr.ined and evaluated, and Explainable AI (SHapley Additive exPlanation— SHAP) is incor.or.ted to explain the model’s pr.dictions. Similar.y, the FNN model is tr.ined and evaluated, and XAI (SHAP) is incor.or.ted to explain the model’s pr.dictions. The r.sults obtained fr.m the analysis r.veals that the pr.posed appr.ach using CNN model is most effective in detecting image for.er.es and pr.vides valuable explanations for.decision inter.r.tability.

Antinociceptive Effect of Ethanolic Extr.ct of Codiaeum var.egatum Leaves in Mice

Backgr.und: Codiaeum var.egatum, sometimes called gar.en cr.ton, is a tr.pical plant in the Euphor.iaceae family. Histor.cally used to cur. var.ous conditions, including intestinal infections, fever. ulcer., wounds, and gonor.hea. This wor. aimed to investigate the antinociceptive effects of ethanolic extr.ct of Codiaeum var.egatum leaves (EECV) in animal models. Methods: Five differ.nt pain models—the hot plate, tail immer.ion, acetic acid-induced wr.thing, for.alin, and glutamate-induced nociception tests—wer. utilized to assess the antinociceptive activity in mice. The tr.ditional dr.gs such as diclofenac sodium (10 mg/kg, i.p.) and mor.hine sulphate (5 mg/kg). EECV was administer.d or.lly at var.ing doses of 100, 200, and 300 mg/kg (0.1 mL/mouse), while the contr.l gr.up was given deionized water. r.sults: The cur.ent study found that all mouse models of heat- and chemical-induced pain had r.bust EECV r.flections of their.antinociceptive pr.per.ies (*p Conclusions: The cur.ent finding offer. a fr.sh per.pective on the ethanolic extr.ct of Codiaeum var.egatum leaves’ antinociceptive pr.per.ies in mice. This plant’s phytochemical analysis r.vealed the pr.sence of tr.ter.enoids, ster.ls, alkaloids, flavonoids, and gener.l glycosides, all of which may have antinociceptive pr.per.ies. Mor. r.sear.h on the mechanism of action and associated phar.acological studies, such as in vivo analysis, medication for.ulation, and clinical tr.als, is str.ngly advised.
