Anorectal malformation(ARM)is a frequently occurring surgical condition in neonates,with a prevalence of 1 in 4000 live births.'In boys with this anomaly,the rectum and urinary tract share a common wall for some distance,often ending up in fistulous *** goals of definite reconstruction are to separate the rectum from the urinary tract without injuring the urethra and mobilizing the rectum to the perineum within the muscle *** the rectum and the urinary tract is the most critical part of this operation and is associated with a significant risk of urinary tract injury.2-5 The original procedure described by Pena and Devries involves multiple stay sutures on the rectal mucosa just above the fistula,lifting the mucosa and continuing a submucosal dissection up to the prostate,where the entire thickness of the intestine can be separated from the urinary tract.

background Intestinal perforation and sometimes obstruction in neonates demand diverting stomas which are associated with fluid,electrolytes and nutrient *** establishment of gut continuity is the key to the best outcome,though primary anastomosis is not always *** aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Bishop Koop stoma in establishing early continuity of gut and confirming the function of distal *** Data of patients who underwent Bishop Koop conversion of diverting stoma from July 2016 to June 2018 were reviewed *** and outcome data were recorded and analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Science(SPSS)V.22 *** permission was taken from hospital ethical *** 29 patients were included(16 male and 13 female).Mean age of conversion was 5.8±2.5 months and mean weight was 4.9±*** bowel movement was established in 26 *** patient died of sepsis on sixth postoperative day and one had anastomotic *** was no significant difference with respect to outcome between perforation and obstruction *** Koop stomas were closed after 6 weeks of *** Bishop Koop conversion of temporary stoma was turned out as a good choice for these patients.

Bangladesh is prone to a multitude of natural hazards and vulnerable to the adverse impacts of future change in climatic conditions. One of the most vulnerable aspects in climate change is the fragile coastal ecosystem in Bangladesh. Here, different ecosystems are highly exposed to cyclone, sea level rise, coastal flooding, flash flood, intense riverine floods, droughts and other climatic extremes. Traditionally, in Bangladesh, climatic variations have provided opportunities (resources) and imposed costs (hazards), depending on how society adapted to the environment. In the drive for modernization, evolving technologies and economic and social structures alter existing systems and make many sectors and groups in the ecosystems (especially Coastal Areas) more vulnerable to significant variations in climate and sea level. In this regard, indigenous knowledge and local coping capacities have become a key to survival of the people of the coastal areas (like Sundarbans Area) of Bangladesh. But in recent years, climate change has had a serious impact on the livelihood enterprises and coping capacities. The present paper has been prepared based on secondary sources to examine the often intriguing coping strategies of the coastal areas due to the adverse impacts of climate change. This paper hopes to contribute to our broader understanding of the challenges of the local coping strategies that communities have developed in their quest to stabilize increasingly fragile livelihood systems.

Haor represents the food basket of Bangladesh and rice is the only crop grown once a year. Harvesting of rice is labor-intensive works and required migrated labor to complete the harvesting works. Mechanical intervention of rice harvesting is urgently needed to increase the productivity. The proper knowledge of economic valuation and operational necessities needs to use of combine harvesters. Research objective was selected to test the technical and economic analysis of Zoomlion rice combine harvester (which is originally developed in China) in Maisherkandi, Mithamain Upazila under Kishoregonj district. The above-mentioned areas are representing haor areas of Bangladesh. Based on the straight-line method, fixed cost items which are machine purchase price, shelter, tax, and insurance were calculated. During the operation of the combine harvester variable cost items such as maintenance and repair, fuel, oil, drivers and guidance were collected. The breakeven point was calculated in terms of the hectares that must be harvested yearly to cover fixed annual costs;and the payback period. Harvesting speed ranged from 1.23 - 3.20 km∙hr−1. The field capacity of harvester was obtained 0.15 ha∙hr−1 and consumed fuel of up to 32 L∙ha−1. Field sizes
