Properties of Bark Particleboard Bonded with Demethylated Lignin Adhesives Derived from Leucaena leucocephala Bark

Lignin extraction from bark can maximize the utilization of biomass waste,offer cost-effectiveness,and promote environmental friendliness when employed as an adhesive material in bark particleboard *** of fine(0.2 to 1.0 mm),medium(1.0 to 2.5 mm),and coarse(2.5 to 12.0 mm)sizes,derived from the bark of Leucaena leucocephala,were hot-pressed using a heating plate at 175℃for 7 min to create single-layer particleboards measuring 320 mm×320 mm×10 mm,targeting a density of 700 kg/m^(3).Subsequently,the samples were trimmed and conditioned at 20℃and 65%relative *** this study,we compared bark particleboard bonded with urea formaldehyde(UF)adhesive to fine-sized particleboard bonded with demethylated lignin *** results indicated that bark particleboards utilizing demethylated lignin and UF adhesives exhibited similar *** particleboard showed differences in modulus of elasticity(MOE)and modulus of rupture(MOR),while medium-sized particles exhibited significant variations in moisture content(MC)and water absorption(WA).Furthermore,the thickness swelling of coarse and medium-sized particles under wet and oven-dried conditions exhibited notable ***,the demethylated lignin adhesive extracted from *** bark demonstrated similar quality to UF adhesive,with particle size correlating inversely to the strength of the bark particleboard.

The Sundarbans is the world’s most extensive natural mangrove forest and home to various natural resources. The population in the vicinity has increased, causing more dependency on the resources of the Sundarbans. The increasing industrialization, urbanization, aquaculture, intensive agricultural practices, seaports, tourism facilities, and so on in the peripheral areas of the Sundarbans have made significant changes in the surrounding and upstream land uses of the Sundarbans. This situation may have detrimental influences on the ecosystem components of the Sundarbans. Therefore, it is highly demanded to prepare a piece of baseline information or database of different sources of pollution and their present status in the various components of the Sundarbans. This effort helps to identify issues and concerns, determine the key elements of the ecosystem to monitor the level or overall quality of the Sundarbans ecosystem. The present study systematically collects the potential sources of pollution, types, and current levels in the ecosystem components of the Sundarbans using academic databases, libraries, and online resources. Discharge of industrial waste into water, soil and air, heavy metal pollution, use of agrochemicals, oil (refined and crude) pollution, plastic materials from urban areas, and tourism are the major issues and concerns related to the sustainability of the Sundarbans ecosystem. The air quality of the Sundarbans is in good condition with 0 - 50 AQI of Bangladesh. While BOD, COD, TDS, TSS varied from 2.0 to 3.8 mg/L, 21.6 to 416 mg/L, 146.9 to 24,100 mg/L and 54 to 155 mg/L, respectively. Soil EC, organic carbon, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus ranged from 3.01 - 5.82 mS/cm, 1.41% - 2.69%, 0.51 - 1.05 mg/g, and 0.32 - 0.51 mg/g respectively. The air, water and soil quality parameters varied with the sites and seasons and not much at the state of contamination. Objective:To evaluate anti-psoriatic activity of Coleus forskohlii in rats with imiquimod-induced ***:Imiquimod was used to induce psoriasis in *** weight,skin thickness,erythema,scaling,spleen weight,and histological alternations were measured to assess the effect of Coleus ***,an emulgel formulation containing Coleus forskohlii 10%was prepared and characterized along with its ex vivo permeation ***:The emulgel formulation containing Coleus forskohlii 10%had a pH of 5.40±0.36,with optimum spreadability of(31.67±2.08)g/(cm·s)and viscosity of(15966.67±1274.10)cps,and enhanced both the rate and the extent of drug permeation through psoriatic *** an ex vivo study,the quantity of drug permeated(19.18%),deposited(52.38%),and drug remaining in the donor compartments(28.31%)was *** forskohlii significantly alleviated imiquimod-induced psoriasis by increasing glutathione and superoxide dismutase activity,decreasing malondialdehyde and nitric oxide levels,and alleviating histological alternations in rat ***:Coleus forskohlii can alleviate imiquimod-induced psoriasis,which may be used as a therapeutic candidate for the treatment of psoriasis.

线束与端子的连接技术在新能源汽车上的需求日益增大。传统连接方式存在耗能高、性能不稳定、产生污染等缺点,因此超声波焊接技术被推广应用到新能源汽车的线束连接上。该文以EVRP5平方屏蔽高压线为研究对象,采用单一变量法对线束进行超声波焊接试验,以焊接能量为变量,通过力学性能测试、微观分析和超声波检测分析超声波的焊接机理。试验结果表明,当焊接能量为5 kJ时,接头抗拉力为2616 N;当焊接能量为11 kJ时,接头抗拉力提高至6650 N。在一定范围内,随着焊接能量的不断增大,接头由靠近工具头处和焊接界面处向内,由未连接状态到点连接、线连接、面连接最终逐渐形成原子间键合。

The Indian Himalayan region is frequently experiencing climate change-induced ***,landslide susceptibility assessment assumes greater significance for lessening the impact of a landslide *** paper makes an attempt to assess landslide susceptibility in Shimla district of the northwest Indian Himalayan *** examined the effectiveness of random forest(RF),multilayer perceptron(MLP),sequential minimal optimization regression(SMOreg)and bagging ensemble(B-RF,BSMOreg,B-MLP)models.A landslide inventory map comprising 1052 locations of past landslide occurrences was classified into training(70%)and testing(30%)*** site-specific influencing factors were selected by employing a multicollinearity *** relationship between past landslide occurrences and influencing factors was established using the frequency ratio *** effectiveness of machine learning models was verified through performance *** landslide susceptibility maps were validated by the area under the receiver operating characteristic curves(ROC-AUC),accuracy,precision,recall and *** key performance metrics and map validation demonstrated that the BRF model(correlation coefficient:0.988,mean absolute error:0.010,root mean square error:0.058,relative absolute error:2.964,ROC-AUC:0.947,accuracy:0.778,precision:0.819,recall:0.917 and F-1 score:0.865)outperformed the single classifiers and other bagging ensemble models for landslide *** results show that the largest area was found under the very high susceptibility zone(33.87%),followed by the low(27.30%),high(20.68%)and moderate(18.16%)susceptibility *** factors,namely average annual rainfall,slope,lithology,soil texture and earthquake magnitude have been identified as the influencing factors for very high landslide *** texture,lineament density and elevation have been attributed to high and moderate ***,the study calls for devising suitable landslide mitig

We obtain an exact solution for spherically symmetric Letelier AdS black holes immersed in perfect fluid dark matter(PFDM).Considering the cosmological constant as the positive pressure of the system and volume as its conjugate variable,we analyze the thermodynamics of our black holes in the extended phase *** to the background clouds of strings parameter(a)and the parameter endowed with PFDM(β),we analyze the Hawking temperature,entropy,and specific ***,we investigate the relationship between the photon sphere radius and phase transition for the Letelier AdS black holes immersed in *** the analysis,with a particular condition,non-monotonic behaviors are found between the photon sphere radius,impact parameter,PFDM parameter,temperature,and *** can regard the changes in both the photon sphere radius and impact parameter before and after phase transition as the order parameter;their critical exponents near the critical point are equal to the same value,1/2,similar to that in ordinary thermal *** indicates that a universal relation of gravity may exist near the critical point for a black hole thermodynamic system.
