Gastric cancer(GC)is one of the most common cancers and ranks the third in cancer mortality all over the *** goal of this study was to identify potential hub-genes,highlighting their functions,signaling pathways,and candidate drugs for the treatment of GC *** used publicly available next generation sequencing(NGS)data to identify differentially expressed(DE)*** top DE genes were mapped to STRING database to construct the protein-protein interaction(PPI)network and top hub genes were selected for further *** found a total of 1555 DE genes with 870 upregulated and 685 downregulated genes in *** selected the top 400(200 upregulated and 200 downregulated)genes to construct a PPI network and extracted the top 15 hub *** gene ontology(GO)term and kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analyses of the 15 hub genes exposed some important functions and signaling pathways that were significantly associated with GC *** survival analysis of the hub genes disclosed that the lower expressions of the three hub genes CDH2,COL4A1,and COL5A2 were associated with better survival of GC *** three genes might be the candidate biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of ***,we considered 3 key proteins(genomic biomarkers)(COL4A1,CDH2,and CO5A2)as the drug target proteins(receptors),performed their docking analysis with the 102 meta-drug agents,and found Everolimus,Docetaxel,Lanreotide,Venetoclax,Temsirolimus,and Nilotinib as the top ranked 6 candidate drugs with respect to our proposed target proteins for the treatment against GC ***,the proposed drugs might play vital role for the treatment against GC patients.

COVID-19 has created a panic all around the *** is a contagious dis-ease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),originated from Wuhan in December 2019 and spread quickly all over the *** healthcare sector of the world is facing great challenges tackling COVID *** of the problems many have witnessed is the misdiagnosis of COVID-19 cases with that of healthy and pneumonia *** this article,we propose a deep Convo-lutional Neural Network(CNN)based approach to detect COVID+(i.e.,patients with COVID-19),pneumonia and normal cases,from the chest X-ray ***-19 detection from chest X-ray is suitable considering all aspects in compar-ison to Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction(RT-PCR)and Computed Tomography(CT)*** deep CNN models including VGG16,InceptionV3,DenseNet121,DenseNet201 and InceptionResNetV2 have been adopted in this pro-posed *** have been trained individually to make particular *** results demonstrate that DenseNet201 provides overall better performance with accuracy,recall,F1-score and precision of 94.75%,96%,95%and 95%*** careful comparison with results available in the literature,we have found to develop models with a higher *** the studies were carried out using a publicly available chest X-ray(CXR)image data-set.

This paper draws attention to the prospects of sea-based economy to promote bangladesh in a middle-income country through the sustainable use of marine resources. About three-fourths of the earth is covered by the seas. It plays the vital role in two important functions from ancient time known as the means of communication and the source of huge living and non-living natural resources. At present, the countries are becoming very much concerned about their marine resources to resolve many of the present and future challenges of their economies. Generally for bangladesh, ocean is contributing a significant role to its overall socio-economic progress through rising up the economic activities across the country and especially to the coastal zone at southern part. This paper investigates how much bangladesh is capable to take of or handle the challenges to become a middle income country through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In addition, it has attempted with a closer-look to find out the barriers or limitations of these activities from different angles if exist.

Agarose coated micro-bottle sensor for relative humidity detection

The whispering gallery mode(WGM)based micro-bottle resonator(MbR)sensor has been proposed and demonstrated for relative humidity measurement by using an agarose gel as a *** was fabricated by using a soften-and-compress method to form a 190μm bulge *** micro-bottle was optically excited by a 3μm tapered fiber and it exhibits a resonance with a Q factor in an order of 10^(5).The agarose coated MbR produces a good sensing response towards humidity with the sensitivity of 0.107 d b/%RH and linearity of 99.614%.The agarose hydrophilic nature and its changing porosity and refractive index with increasing relative humidity made the coated MbR structure to be more sensitive than the uncoated *** humidity sensor has a simple fabrication and is showing good sensitivity,linearity,resolution,response time and operational in a wide humidity range.

Salt stress is one of the major limitations to modern agriculture that negatively inﬂuences plant growth and *** tolerant cultivar can provide excellent solution to enhance stress tolerance with plantﬁtness to unfavorable ***,this study was aimed to screen salt tolerant sorghum genotypes through evaluating of different morphological,biochemical,and physiological attributes in response to salinity *** this study,we have been evaluated total six sorghum genotypes including Hybrid sorgo,Debgiri,bD-703,bD-706,bD-707,and bD-725 under salt stress(12 dS m^(-1) NaCl).The response variables included length and weight of root and shoot,root:shoot ratio(RSR),photosynthesis(A),transpiration rate(E),elemental concen-trations(K^(+),Na^(+) and K^(+)/Na^(+)),photochemical efﬁciency of photosystem II(F_(v)/F_(m)),water use efﬁciency(WUE)and pigment content(chlorophyll a,and b).The results revealed that saline environment signiﬁcantly reduced all response variables under study of sorghum genotypes,however,Hybrid sorgo remained unmatched by recording the maximum root and shoot *** same genotype recorded higher photosynthetic efﬁciency which was attributed to Na^(+) extrusion,K^(+) uptake and higher K^(+)/Na^(+) ratio(1.8 at stress),while these mechanisms were not fully active in rest of ***,this study also implies the involvement of proline in imparting tolerance against saline environment in Hybrid sorgo ***,bD-703 remained the most salt sensitive genotype as evident from the minimum morphological growth traits and the least biosynthesis of ***ﬁndings open new research avenues for salt stress alleviation by identifying elite salt-to-lerant genotypes of sorghum for breeding programs.

Sugarcane is one of the major important sugar yielding crops in *** an exhaustive crop,sugarcane removes a huge amount of plant nutrients from the ***,the combined use of organic and inorganic fertilizers can be a good approach to deal with nutrient depletion and promote sustainable crop production as well as improve soil ***,an attempt was made to identify the most fruitful and profitable integrated nutrient management on the aspects of growth,yield and quality of sugarcane in two consecutive growing *** treatments:T_(1)=Control,T_(2)=165:55:120:30:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:b ha^(−1),T_(3)=Poultry Litter(PL)at 5 t ha^(−1)+95:51:87:9:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:b ha^(−1),T_(4)=Cow Dung(CD)at 15 t ha^(−1)+36:52:60:17:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:b ha^(−1),T_(5)=Press Mud(PM)at 15 t ha^(−1)+10:50:43:0:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:b ha^(−1),T_(6)=Mustard Oil Cake(MOC)at 0.5 t ha^(−1)+140:54:115:25:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:b ha^(−1)and T_(7)=GM(Green Manure)at 5 t ha^(−1)+140:53:100:28:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:b ha^(−1)were used in this *** years data showed that treatment T_(3)produced the maximum amount of tillers,total dry matter yield,millable sugarcane,cane yield and sugar yield,followed by the T_(4)*** highest stalk heights were recorded in the T_(3)treatment,which was statistically similar to all other treatments except T_(1)and T_(2).The juice quality parameters viz.,brix and pol in cane were found significant in treatment T_(3)while the highest purity was obtained in the T_(7)*** the data of Jaggery(goor)quality parameters,the highest sucrose content,color transmittance,Jaggery(goor)recovery and the lowest ash content of Jaggery(goor)were observed in the T_(3)treatment,which was statistically similar to the T_(4)treatment in both *** highest cost of production was obtained from the T_(6)treatment while the highest gross return,net return and bCR were recorded in the T_(3)*** sig

The process of selecting features or reducing dimensionality can be viewed as a multi-objective minimization problem in which both the number of features and error rate must be *** it is a multi-objective problem,current methods tend to treat feature selection as a single-objective optimization *** paper presents enhanced multi-objective grey wolf optimizer with Lévy flight and mutation phase(LMuMOGWO)for tackling feature selection *** proposed approach integrates two effective operators into the existing Multi-objective Grey Wolf optimizer(MOGWO):a Lévy flight and a mutation *** Lévy flight,a type of random walk with jump size determined by the Lévy distribution,enhances the global search capability of MOGWO,with the objective of maximizing classification accuracy while minimizing the number of selected *** mutation operator is integrated to add more informative features that can assist in enhancing classification *** feature selection is a binary problem,the continuous search space is converted into a binary space using the sigmoid *** evaluate the classification performance of the selected feature subset,the proposed approach employs a wrapper-based Artificial Neural Network(ANN).The effectiveness of the LMuMOGWO is validated on 12 conventional UCI benchmark datasets and compared with two existing variants of MOGWO,bMOGWO-S(based sigmoid),bMOGWO-V(based tanh)as well as Non-dominated Sorting Genetic algorithm II(NSGA-II)and Multi-objective Particle Swarm Optimization(bMOPSO).The results demonstrate that the proposed LMuMOGWO approach is capable of successfully evolving and improving a set of randomly generated solutions for a given optimization ***,the proposed approach outperforms existing approaches in most cases in terms of classification error rate,feature reduction,and computational cost.

Variation in the life-history traits of a Schilbid catfish,Clupisoma garua (Hamilton, 1822) in the coastal waters of southern bangladesh

For the first time, the present study reports the life-history traits, comprising length-frequency distribution （LFD）, sex ratio （SR）, length-weight relationships （LWRs）, condition factors （CFs）, and relative growth （WR）, of Clupisoma garua in the coastal waters of bangladesh. A total of 150 specimens ranging from 8.60 to 25.20 cm total length （TL） and 4.26 to 128.80 g body weight （bW） were collected using traditional fishing gear from August 2013 to July 2014. The overall sex ratio of males to females in the study did not differ significantly from the expected value of 1：1 （χ2=0.96, P〈0.05） but there were significant sex differences （P〈0.05） in the intercepts and slopes of graphs characterizing traits in C. garua. The calculated b values for the LWRs were 2.955, 2.893 and 2.927 for males, females and combined sexes, respectively, and there was negative allometric growth in all cases （b〈3）. The condition factors （KA, KF, KrR） and relative growth （WR） also did not differ significantly （P〈0.05） between the sexes. This study provides a useful tool for fishery specialists to evaluate the relative condition of fish and to initiate early management strategies and regulations for the sustainable management of the remaining stocks of this species in the entire coastal region of southern bangladesh.
