Wheat blast, caused by a fungal pathogen, Magnaporthe oryzae Tritichum (MoT) pathotype (wheat isolates), was first reported in Bangladesh among Asian countries in 2016. It is a serious disease of wheat causing yield failures and significant economic losses during epidemic years. Extensive use of persistent synthetic pesticides to control notorious wheat blast imposes enormous threat to human health and environment. In addition, the increasing demand for organic food has stimulated people to look for alternative methods. Nowadays, the need for synthetic chemical-free agricultural practices is gaining importance due to effective in managing crop pests, inexpensive, biodegradable, easily available and have low toxicity to non-target organisms. In order to identify active plants, 12 kinds of methanol extracts obtained from 12 medicinal plants were conducted in vitro to test the effect against Magnaporthe oryzae Triticum (MoT) pathotype. The remarkable inhibitory activity {(29.6 ± 01.5) mm, (25.1 ± 01.0) mm and (20.0 ± 02.0) mm zone of inhibition)} exhibited by the extracts (5 mg/disk) obtained from Artemisia indica (Nagdona), Persicaria orientalis (Bishkatali) and Clerodendrum indicum (Bamonhati), respectively. The performance of Rayleigh fading channels is substantially impacted by the impacts of relays, antennas, and the number of branches. Opportunistic relaying is a potent technique for enhancing the effects of the aforementioned factors while enhancing the performance of fading channels. Due to these issues, a secure wireless multicasting scenario using opportunistic relaying over Rayleigh fading channel in the presence of multiple wiretappers is taken into consideration in this study. So the investigation of a secure wireless multicasting scenario using opportunistic relaying over Rayleigh fading channel in the presence of multiple wiretappers is the focus of this paper. The primary goals of this study are to maximize security in wireless multicasting while minimizing security loss caused by the effects of relays, branches at destinations and wiretappers, as well as multicast users and wiretappers through opportunistic relaying. To comprehend the insight effects of prior parameters, the closed form analytical expressions are constructed for the probability of non-zero secrecy multicast capacity (PNSMC), ergodic secrecy multicast capacity (ESMC), and secure outage probability for multicasting (SOPM). The findings demonstrate that opportunistic relaying is a successful method for reducing the loss of security in multicasting.

Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensors have grown in popularity owing to their sensitivity, precision, and capacity for a variety of applications, including detection, monitoring, and sensing, among others. Sensitivity and resolution are two areas where this technology has room for development. A plasmonic biosensor based on an asymmetric slotted PCF structure with extremely high sensitivity has been described and theoretically investigated. This high performance sensor is constructed and completely characterized using finite element method in COMSOL Multiphysics software environment. Sensitivity and resolution are analyzed as performance parameters for the proposed sensor. Numerical simulation exhibits the maximum wavelength-sensitivity of 1100 nm/RIU with 9.09 × 10-6 RIU resolution in the broad measurement range of refractive index from 1.30 to 1.44. A polarization controller can be used to fine-tune this extremely sensitive and wide-ranging refractive index sensor to fulfil a variety of practical needs. This is performed with the consideration of the variation in the refractive index (RI) of the analyte channels. In comparison with earlier PCF-based sensors, the fiber design structure is basic, symmetrical, simple to produce, and cost-effective. Because of the asymmetric air holes and higher sensitivities of the refractive index detector, it is possible to identify biomolecules, biochemicals and other analytes.

This paper presents the development of a highly efficient CT-PCF (Core-Tune Photonic Crystal Fiber) with substantial birefringence, tailored for applications in high-bit-rate communication and sensing while minimizing signal loss. The design incorporates a modified broadband dispersion compensating structure, optimized for operation across the E, S, C, and L communication bands within a wavelength range spanning 1360 nm to 1625 nm. Notably, the CT-PCF demonstrates a remarkable birefringence of 2.372 × 10-2 at 1550 nm, surpassing traditional PCF structures. Single-mode performance is evaluated using the Higher Order Mode Extinction Ratio (HOMER) method, revealing a peak HOMER value of 104 at 1550 nm. Furthermore, at 1550 nm, the CT-PCF exhibits exceptional nonlinear characteristics, featuring a high nonlinearity of 50.74 W-1⋅Km-1 for y polarization. In comparison to existing designs, the proposed CT-PCF exhibits superior performance metrics and optical characteristics. Additionally, the y polarization dispersion coefficient of the CT-PCF at 1550 nm is measured at -3534 ps/(nm⋅km). Overall, the CT-PCF represents a significant advancement, outperforming established systems in terms of performance metrics and optical properties.

Rice varieties having high Fe concentration in the endospermic region can be used as a good source for Fe deficit *** this study,303 Oryza sativa varieties and 1 Oryza rufipogon accession were assessed for spatial Fe accumulation in grains by Prussian blue staining *** ferritin protein distribution in grains was visualized by immunohistochemistry,and ferritin expression was assessed in selected rice varieties using semi-quantitative reverse transcription *** popular rice varieties,namely Sarjoo 52,Madhukar and Jalmagna,and the *** variety showed Fe in all the regions of grains,and the highest Fe concentration was observed in the embryo *** high-yielding varieties like Swarna,Swarna Sub 1,CSR13 and NDRR359 had lower Fe concentration in the embryo *** highest Fe concentration was detected in ***(49.8μg/g),followed by Sarjoo 52(26.1μg/g)and Madhukar(25.7μg/g).Phytic acid concentration was the minimum in ***(5.75 mg/g)followed by Sarjoo 52(5.83 mg/g).Western blot and semi-quantitative reverse transcription PCR showed higher expression of ferritin gene in ***,Sarjoo 52 and *** conclusion,*** and Sarjoo 52 had higher Fe concentration in the embryo regions as well as endosperm and aleurone layer,whereas the other varieties had lower Fe concentration in the *** 52 could be used as a donor in the rice breeding program for the generation of new varieties with elevated grain Fe concentration.

Microplastics(MPs)pollution and its associated toxicity raising concerns among scientists as a result of their toxicological impacts on human health and the *** study aims to investigate the microplastics and heavy metals(HMs)contamination in seventeen freshwater fish species collected from the Southwestern region of *** extracted from these species using the hydrogen peroxide digestion method and characterized by Attenuated Total Reflection-Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(ATR-FTIR).Atomic Absorption Spectrometry(AAS)was used to determine the concentration of HMs in different species for evaluating human health risks.A total of 142 microplastic particles were extracted with an average concentration of 1.13±0.84 items per individual of fish,where the highest microplastics were found in ***(3.43±3.15 items)and lowest in ***(0.14±0.38 items).Identified microplastics were dominated byCu(0.01e1.14;0.50±0.44)>Pb(0.04e0.58;0.22±0.12)>Cd(0.00e0.11;0.03±0.03),*** metals-based human health risk assessment results show that there are no major non-carcinogenic health risks(THI<1),while higher carcinogenic risks are present for consumers.

Background： The article presents the first estimates of biomass and productivity for mangrove forests along the Oligohaline zone of the Sundarbans Reserve Forest （SRF）, Bangladesh. This study was conducted overone year from March 2016 to April 20] 7. Stand structure, above and below-ground biomass changes, and litterfall production were measured within a 2100 m2 sample plot. Methods： All trees in the study plots were numbered and height （H） and diameter at breast height （DBH） were measured. Tree height （H） and DBH for each tree were measured in March 2016 and 2017. We apply the above and belowground biomass equation for estimating the biomass of the mangrove tree species （Chave et al. Oecologia 145：87-99, 2005; Komiyama et al. J Trop Ecol 21：471-477, 2005）. Litterfall was collected using 1-mm mesh litter traps with collection area of 0.42 m2. Net Primary Production （NPP） was estimated by the summation method of Ogawa Primary productivity of Japanese forests： productivity of terrestrial communities, JIBP synthesis （1977） and Matsuura and Kajimoto Carbon dynamics of terrestrial ecosystem： Systems approach to global environment （2013）. Results： Heritiero fomes has maintained its dominance of the stand and also suffered the highest tree mortality （2.4%） in the suppressed crown class. The total above-ground biomass （AGB） and below-ground biomass （BGB） of the studied stand was ]54.8 and 84.2 ***-1, respectively. Among the total biomass of the trees, 64.8% was allocated to AGB and 35.2% to BGB. In case of species-wise contribution of biomass allocation, Avicennia officinalis showed the highest score and Aglaia cucullota the lowest. Mean annual total litterfall was 10.1 Mg-ha ***-1, with the maximum litterfall in winter or dry season and late summer or rainy season. The mean AGB increment and above-ground net primary productivity （AGNPP） were 7.1 and 17.2 ***-1, respectively. In this article,we suggest the two variable(G/G,1/G)-expansion method for extracting further general closed form wave solutions of two important nonlinear evolution equations(NLEEs)that model one-dimensional internal waves in deep water and the long surface gravity waves of small amplitude propagating *** method can be regarded as an extension of the(G/G)-expansion *** ansatz of this extension method to obtain the solution is based on homogeneous balance between the highest order dispersion terms and nonlinearity which is similar to the(G/G)method whereas the auxiliary linear ordinary differential equation(LODE)and polynomial solution *** applied this method to find explicit form solutions to the Burger’s and Benjamin-Bona-Mahony(BBM)equations to examine the effectiveness of the method and tested through mathematical computational software *** new exact travelling wave solutions in more general form of these two nonlinear equations are derived by this extended *** method introduced here appears to be easier and faster comparatively by means of symbolic computation system.
