The rapid population growth results in a crucial problem in the early detection of diseases inmedical *** all the cancers unveiled,breast cancer is considered the second most severe ***,an exponential rising in death cases incurred by breast cancer is expected due to the rapid population growth and the lack of resources required for performing medical *** recent advances in machine learning could help medical staff in diagnosing diseases as they offer effective,reliable,and rapid responses,which could help in decreasing the death *** this paper,we propose a new algorithm for feature selection based on a hybrid between powerful and recently emerged optimizers,namely,guided whale and dipper throated *** proposed algorithm is evaluated using four publicly available breast cancer *** evaluation results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach from the accuracy and speed *** prove the superiority of the proposed algorithm,a set of competing feature selection algorithms were incorporated into the conducted *** addition,a group of statistical analysis experiments was conducted to emphasize the superiority and stability of the proposed *** best-achieved breast cancer prediction average accuracy based on the proposed algorithm is 99.453%.This result is achieved in an average time of 3.6725 s,the best result among all the competing approaches utilized in the experiments.

DISCUSSION ON SOME FFT PROBLEMS TO DETERMINE THE GEOID

The aim of this investigation is to study some FFT problems related to the application of FFT to gravity field convolution *** the others,such as the effect of spectral leakage,edge effects,cyclic convolution and effect of padding,are also discussed.A numerical test for these problems is made.A large area of Western China selected for the test is located between 30°N～36°N and 96°E～102°E and includes 1 858 gravity observations on *** results show that the removal of the bias in the residual gravity anomalies is important to avoid spectral *** hundred percent zero padding is highly recommended for further research of the geoid to remove cyclic convolution errors and edge effects.1_D FFT is recommended for precise local geoid determination because it does not use kernel approximation.

The aim of this investigation is to study how to use a gravimetric (quasi) geoid for levelling by GPS data in an optimal *** advent of precise geodetic GPS has made the use of a technique possible,which might be called GPS_ gravimetric geoid *** this approach,GPS heights above the reference ellipsoid are determined for points whose levelled (orthometric) height H is above sea level people have already surveyed;for these points,we thus have the values of the geoid undulation N .These values are then used to constrain the geoid undulations N′ obtained from the gravimetric solution.

BACKGROUND Helicobacter pylori(***)is a significant human pathogen that is responsible for a variety of illnesses,including mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma,gastric cancer,peptic ulcers,and *** To investigate the frequency of *** infection and its resistance patterns among Egyptian patients and to determine the influence of *** virulence genetic determinants on the eradication success of 14-d triple therapy *** *** infections were investigated in 72 patients with gastroduodenal complications suggestive of *** *** cagA and vacA genotypes of cultured strains were studied using polymerase chain *** patients underwent 14 d of triple-therapy *** treatment response was examined using histology and a rapid urease test 6 wk after therapy *** The intention-to-treat eradication rate was 59.2%(95%CI:48.2%-70.3%).Rates of *** resistance to clarithromycin,amoxicillin,and metronidazole were 52.8%,81.9%,and 100%,*** eradication of *** was more significantly associated with vacA s1-positive strains[adjusted odds ratio(aOR)=0.507,95%CI:0.175-0.822].A significant association was found between failed eradication rate and *** strains resistant to clarithromycin(aOR=0.204,95%CI:-0.005 to 0.412)and amoxicillin(aOR=0.223,95%CI:0.026-0.537).CONCLUSION This study’s low *** eradication rate following 14-d triple therapy is concerning and *** pan-resistance to metronidazole followed by the high resistance to ciprofloxacin,amoxicillin,and clarithromycin in this research is challenging and of great concern.

AIM To assess the burden of norovirus(No V) and to determine the diversity of circulating strains among hospitalized children in Lebanon. METHODS Stool samples were collected from children presenting with acute gastroenteritis to six major hospitals in Lebanon. A total of 739 eligible stool samples, testing negative for diarrhea caused by rotavirus as a possible viral pathogen, were collected between January 2011 and June 2013. A standardized questionnaire including demographic, epidemiological and clinical observations was used at the time of hospitalization of children presenting with diarrhea. Viral RNA was extracted from stool samples followed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and nucleotide sequencing of a fragment of the viral protein 1 capsid gene. Multiple sequence alignments were carried out and phylogenetic trees were constructed using the MEGA 6 *** Overall, 11.2% of stool samples collected from children aged < 5 years tested positive for No V genogroups Ⅰ(GⅠ) and Ⅱ(GⅡ). GⅡ accounted for 10.6% of the gastroenteritis cases with only five samples being positive for GⅠ(0.7%). The majority of hospitalized children showed symptoms of diarrhea, dehydration, vomiting and fever. Upon sequencing of positive samples and based on their clustering in the phylogenetic tree, 4/5 of GⅠ gastroenteritis cases were designated GⅠ.3 and one case as GⅠ.4. GⅡ.4 was predominantly detected in stool of our study participants(68%). We report a JB-15/KOR/2008 GⅡ.4 Apeldoorn 2008-like variant strain circulating in 2011; this strain was replaced between 2012 and 2013 by a variant sharing homology with the Sydney/NSW0514/2012/AUS GⅡ.4 Sydney 2012 and Sydney 2012/FRA GⅡ.4 strains. We also report the co-circulation of non-GⅡ.4 genotypes among hospitalized children. Determination of Voriconazole in Human Plasma by Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry: Application in Therapeutic Drug Monitoring

A sensitive, accurate and robust Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry method has been developed and validated to measure voriconazole trough levels in human plasma. The plasma samples were mixed with fluconazole as an Internal Standard and directed to protein precipitation and drug extraction. An aliquot of 1 μl was injected into the chromatographic system and separated by the Acquity BEH C18 column at a flow rate of 0.30 ml/min in a gradient mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile, Ultrapure water (UPW), methanol and formic acid. Voriconazole was detected by a Triple Quadrupole Detector (TQD) operating on Multiple Reaction Monitoring (MRM) and a positive ion mode Electrospray ionization (ESI) Q1 mass: 350.1 m/z, Q3 mass: 281.1 m/z. Method linearity of the calibration curve (0.10 - 8.00 μg/ml) indicated a correlation coefficient r ≥ 0.99. The intra and inter-assay accuracy was within 85% - 115% and the intra and inter-assay precision was ≤5.76%. Voriconazole recovery percentage was between 97.69 - 119.62%. The method was successively applied in routine voriconazole TDM.

Objectives:In patients with head and neck carcinoma,“treatment package time”(TPT)was proven to impact outcomes in cases receiving adjuvant radiotherapy *** impact in patients receiving radiotherapy with concurrent systemic therapy has not been studied *** TPT influence on survival endpoints for patients treated with surgery followed by radiation and concurrent systemic therapy was ***:Institutional database to identify head and neck carcinoma cases treated with definitive surgery followed by concomitant chemo(bio)radiotherapy(CRT)was *** was the number of days elapsed between surgery and the last day of radiation.%FINDCUT SAS macro tool was used to search for the cutoff TPT that was associated with significant survival ***-Meier curves,log-rank tests as well as univariate and multivariate analyses were used to assess overall survival(OS)and recurrence free survival(RFS).Results:One hundred and three cases with a median follow up of 37 months were included in the *** tumors were 43%,oral cavity 40%and laryngeal 17%of *** systemic therapy included platinum and cetuximab in 72%and 28%,*** TPT was found to be<100 days with significantly better OS(P=0.002)and RFS(P=0.043)compared to TPT≥100 *** multivariate analysis;TPT<100 days,extracapsular nodal extension,high-risk score,iymphovascular space and perineural invasion were independent predictors for worse OS(P<0.05).T4,extracapsular nodal extension and high-risk score were all significantly detrimental to RFS(P<0.05).Conclusions:Addition of concomitant systemic therapy to adjuvant radiotherapy did not compensate for longer TPT in head and neck squamous cell *** coordinated care must be provided to ensure the early start of CRT with minimal treatment breaks.
