With the rapid growth of internet usage,a new situation has been created that enables practicing *** has increased over the past decade,and it has the same adverse effects as face-to-face bullying,like anger,sadness,anxiety,and *** the anonymity people get on the internet,they tend to bemore aggressive and express their emotions freely without considering the effects,which can be a reason for the increase in cyberbullying and it is the main motive behind the current *** study presents a thorough background of cyberbullying and the techniques used to collect,preprocess,and analyze the ***,a comprehensive review of the literature has been conducted to figure out research gaps and effective techniques and practices in cyberbullying detection in various languages,and it was deduced that there is significant room for improvement in the Arabic *** a result,the current study focuses on the investigation of shortlisted machine learning algorithms in natural language processing(NLP)for the classification of Arabic datasets duly collected from Twitter(also known as X).In this regard,support vector machine(SVM),Naive Bayes(NB),Random Forest(RF),Logistic regression(LR),Bootstrap aggregating(Bagging),Gradient Boosting(GBoost),Light Gradient Boosting Machine(LightGBM),Adaptive Boosting(AdaBoost),and eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost)were shortlisted and investigated due to their effectiveness in the similar ***,the scheme was evaluated by well-known performance measures like accuracy,precision,Recall,and ***,XGBoost exhibited the best performance with 89.95%accuracy,which is promising compared to the state-of-the-art.

Modern human life is heavily dependent on computing systems and one of the core components affecting the performance of these systems is underlying operating *** systems need to be upgraded to match the needs of modern-day systems relying on Internet of Things,Fog computing and Mobile based *** scheduling algorithm of the operating system dictates that how the resources will be allocated to the processes and the Round Robin algorithm(RR)has been widely used for *** intent of this study is to ameliorate RR scheduling algorithm to optimize task *** have carried out an experimental study where we have developed four variations of RR,each algorithm considers three-time quanta and the performance of these variations was compared with the RR algorithm,and results highlighted that these variations performed better than conventional RR *** the future,we intend to develop an automated scheduler that can determine optimal algorithm based on the current set of processes and will allocate time quantum to the processes intelligently at the run *** way the task performance of modern-day systems can be improved to make them more efficient.

Colorectal cancer screening: An updated review of the available options

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. However, colon cancer incidence and mortality is declining over the past decade owing to adoption of effective screening programs. Nevertheless, in some parts of the world, CRC incidence and mortality remain on the rise, likely due to factors including “westernized” diet, lifestyle, and lack of health-care infrastructure and resources. Participation and adherence to different national screening programs remain obstacles limiting the achievement of screening goals. Different modalities are available ranging from stool based tests to radiology and endoscopy with varying sensitivity and specificity. However, the availability of these tests is limited to areas with high economic resources. Recently, FDA approved a blood-based test (Epi procolon®) for CRC screening. This blood based test may serve to increase the participation and adherence rates. Hence, leading to increase in colon cancer detection and prevention. This article will discuss various CRC screening tests with a particular focus on the data regarding the new approved blood test. Finally, we will propose an algorithm for a simple cost-effective CRC screening program.

采用三维非线性有限元分析方法评价与估算了桥面板与混凝土覆层间结合界面的干燥收缩诱导应力,并采用修正Fowler准则测算了桥面板与聚合物覆层间的热诱导应力。在评价覆层与面板间相对厚度to/ts的影响时,ts取常数200 mm;在评价相对弹性模量Eo/Es的影响时,Es取常数,27.5 GPa,并设定了3个Eo/Es比值,分别是0.5,0.75,1.0。在评价每个Eo/Es比值的影响时,考虑3个to/ts比值,其值分别为0.281,0.375,0.45,并对应3个覆层厚度值,分别为55,75,3.6,90 mm。结果表明:收缩诱导剪切应力与黏结应力随Eo/Es比值及to/ts比值的增加而增加;有限元分析结果与修正Fowler准则测算结果表现出相同的变化趋势,但由前者估算的黏结应力要比由后者估算的高很多。对诱导黏结应力有重要影响或者会导致黏结强度下降的其他因素也进行了深入讨论。

Cervical cancer is screened by pap smear methodology for detection and classification *** smear images of the cervical region are employed to detect and classify the abnormality of cervical *** this paper,we proposed the first system that it ables to classify the pap smear images into a seven classes *** smear images are exploited to design a computer-aided diagnoses system to classify the abnormality in cervical images *** features that have been extracted using ResNet101 are employed to discriminate seven classes of images in Support Vector Machine(SVM)*** success of this proposed system in distinguishing between the levels of normal cases with 100%accuracy and 100%*** top of that,it can distinguish between normal and abnormal cases with an accuracy of 100%.The high level of abnormality is then studied and classified with a high *** the other hand,the low level of abnormality is studied separately and classified into two classes,mild and moderate dysplasia,with∼92%*** proposed system is a built-in cascading manner with five models of polynomial(SVM)*** overall accuracy in training for all cases is 100%,while the overall test for all seven classes is around 92%in the test phase and overall accuracy reaches 97.3%.The proposed system facilitates the process of detection and classification of cervical cells in pap smear images and leads to early diagnosis of cervical cancer,which may lead to an increase in the survival rate in women.

Excision of malignant and pre-malignant rectal lesions by transanal endoscopic microsurgery in patients under 50 years of age

BACKGROUND The most common technique for treating benign and early malignant rectal lesions is transanal endoscopic microsurgery(TEM).Local excision is an acceptable technique for high-risk and elderly patients,but there are hardly any data regarding young *** To describe TEM outcomes in patients under 50 years of *** We collected demographic,clinical,and pathological data from all patients under the age of 50 years who underwent the TEM procedure at Hasharon Rabin Medical Center from January 2005 to December *** During the study period,a total of 26 patients under the age of 50 years underwent TEM *** mean age was 43.3 ***(42.0%)were *** mean operative time was 67 min,and the mean tumor size was 2.39 cm,with a mean anal verge distance of 8.50 *** major intraoperative or postoperative complications were *** median length of stay was 2 ***(26.9%)lesions were adenomas with low-grade dysplasia,four(15.4%)were high-grade dysplasia adenomas,two were T1 carcinomas(7.8%),and three were T2 carcinomas(11.5%).No residual disease was found following endoscopic polypectomy in two patients(7.8%),but four(15.4%)had other *** margins were negative in all *** recurrence was detected in one patient 33 mo following *** Among young adult patients,TEM for benign rectal lesions has excellent *** may also offer a balance between the efficacy of complete oncologic resection and postoperative quality of life in the treatment of rectal *** some cases,it may be considered an alternative to radical surgery.

Liver cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death *** tumor detection may help identify suitable treatment and increase the survival *** imaging is a non-invasive tool that can help uncover abnormalities in human *** Resonance Imaging(MRI),in particular,uses magnetic fields and radio waves to differentiate internal human organs ***,the interpretation of medical images requires the subjective expertise of a radiologist and ***,building an automated diagnosis computer-based system can help specialists reduce incorrect *** paper proposes a hybrid automated system to compare the performance of 3D features and 2D features in classifying magnetic resonance liver tumor *** paper proposed two models;the first one employed the 3D features while the second exploited the 2D *** first system uses 3D texture attributes,3D shape features,and 3D graphical deep descriptors beside an ensemble classifier to differentiate between four 3D tumor *** top of that,the proposed method is applied to 2D slices for comparison *** proposed approach attained 100%accuracy in discriminating between all types of tumors,100%Area Under the Curve(AUC),100%sensitivity,and 100%specificity and precision as well in 3D liver *** the other hand,the performance is lower in 2D *** maximum accuracy reached 96.4%for two classes and 92.1%for four *** top-class performance of the proposed system can be attributed to the exploitation of various types of feature selection methods besides utilizing the ReliefF features selection technique to choose the most relevant features associated with different *** novelty of this work appeared in building a highly accurate system under specific circumstances without any processing for the images and human input,besides comparing the performance between 2D and 3D *** the future,the presented work can be extended to be

Role of ERCP in the era of laparoscopic cholecystectomy for the evaluation of choledocholithiasis in sickle cell anemia

AIM:To evaluate the role of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) for choledocholithiasis in patients with sickle cell anemia (SCA) in the era of laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC). METHODS:Two hundred and twenty four patients (144 male,80 female; mean age,22.4 years; range,5-70 years) with SCA underwent ERCP as part of their evaluation for cholestatic jaundice (CJ). The indications for ERCP were:CJ only in 97,CJ and dilated bile ducts on ultrasound in 103,and CJ and common bile duct (CBD) stones on ultrasound in 42. RESULTS:In total,CBD stones were found in 88 (39.3%) patients and there was evidence of recent stone passage in 16. Fifteen were post-LC patients. These had endoscopic sphincterotomy and stone extraction. The remaining 73 had endoscopic sphincterotomy and stone extraction followed by LC without an intraoperative ***:In patients with SCA and cholelithiasis,ERCP is valuable whether preoperative or postoperative,and in none was there a need to perform intraoperative cholangiography. Sequential endoscopic sphincterotomy and stone extraction followed by LC is beneficial in these patients. Endoscopic sphincterotomy may also prove to be useful in these patients as it may prevent the future development of biliary sludge and bile duct stones.
