The optimized synergy conditions between electron cyclotron current drive （ECCD） and lower hybrid current drive （LHCD） with normal parameters of the EAST tokamak are studied by using the C3PO/LUKE code based on the under- standing of the synergy mechanisms so as to obtain a higher synergistic current and provide theoretical reference for the synergistic effect in the EAST experiment. The dependences of the synergistic effect on the parameters of two waves （lower hybrid wave （LHW） and electron cyclotron wave （ECW））, including the radial position of the power deposition, the power value of the LH and EC waves, and the parallel refractive indices of the LHW （Nr） are oresented and discussed.

AIM： To analyze the importance in predicting patients risk of mortality due to upper gastrointestinal （UgI） bleeding under today＇s therapeutic regimen. METHODS： From 1998 to 2001, 121 patients with the diagnosis of UgI bleeding were treated in our hospital. Based on the patients＇ data, a retrospective multivariate data analysis with initially more than 270 single factors was performed. Subsequently, the following potential risk factors underwent a logistic regression analysis： age, gender, initial hemoglobin, coumarines, liver cirrhosis, prothrombin time （PT）, gastric ulcer （small curvature）, duodenal ulcer （bulbus back wall）, Forrest classification, vascular stump, variceal bleeding, MalloryWeiss syndrome, RBC substitution, recurrent bleeding, conservative and surgical therapy. RESULTS： Seventy male （58%） and 51 female （42%） patients with a median age of 70 （range： 21-96） years were treated. Their in-hospital mortality was 14%. While 12% （11/91） of the patients died after conservative therapy, 20% （6/30） died after undergoing surgical therapy. UgI bleeding occurred due to duodenal ulcer （n = 36; 30%）, gastric ulcer （n = 35; 29%）, esophageal varicosis （n = 12; 10%）, Mallory-Weiss syndrome （n = 8, 7%）, erosive lesions of the mucosa （n = 20; 17%）, cancer （n = 5; 4%）, coagulopathy （n = 4; 3%）, lymphoma （n = 2; 2%）, benign tumor （n = 2; 2%） and unknown reason （n = 1, 1%）. A logistic regression analysis of all aforementioned factors revealed that liver cirrhosis and duodenal ulcer （bulbus back wall） were associated risk factors for a fatal course after UgI bleeding. Prior to endoscopy, only liver cirrhosis was an assessable risk factor. Thereafter, liver cirrhosis, the location of a bleeding ulcer （bulbus back wall） andpatients＇ gender （male） were of prognostic importance for the clinical outcome （mortality） of patients with a bleeding ulcer.CONCLUSION： Most prognostic parameters used in clinical routine today are not reliable enough in predicting a patient＇s vital

In the Internet of Things (IoT) consumer products like coffee machines and smoke detectors are connected with the Internet, which effectively expands the Internet to the physical world. Such products have the ability to collect and share data from the user’s environment and, thus, their broad emergence will affect well-established concepts presented in the extant marketing literature. In order to provide a distinct contribution, we focus on customer relationship management, product life cycle management, as well as business model development and discuss implications of the enhanced capabilities of IoT products in these fields. By means of an extensive analysis of current developments in theory and practice, we systematically deduce ten research propositions. The paper concludes with a synthesis of findings and an outlook to promising directions for further research in IoT-oriented marketing management.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine whether the efficacy of transtheoretical model(TTM)-based interventions on physical activity(PA)varied according to the following criteria:(1) interventions targeted the actual stages of change(SOCs) or did not;(2) participants were selected according to their SOC or were not; and(3) its theoretical constructs(decisional balance, temptation, self-efficacy, processes of change).Methods: Thirty-three randomized controlled trials assessing TTM-based interventions promoting PA in adults were systematically ***: The between-group heterogeneity statistic(Qb) did not reveal any differential efficacy either in interventions targeting the actual SOC compared with those that did not(Qb = 1.48, p = 0.22) or in interventions selecting participants according to their SOC compared with those that did not(Qb = 0.01, p = 0.91). TTM-based interventions enhanced PA behavior whether they targeted the actual SOC(Cohen's d = 0.36; 95%confidence interval(CI): 0.22–0.49) or not(d = 0.23; 95%CI: 0.09–0.38) and whether they selected their participants according to their SOC(d = 0.33; 95%CI: 0.13–0.53) or not(d = 0.32; 95%CI: 0.19–0.44). The moderators of the efficacy of TTM-based interventions were the number of theoretical constructs used to tailor the intervention(Qb = 8.82, p = 0.003), the use of self-efficacy(Qb = 6.09, p = 0.01), and the processes of change(Qb = 3.51, p = 0.06).Conclusion: TTM-based interventions significantly improved PA behavior, and their efficacy was not moderated by SOC but by the TTM theoretical constructs.
