The incidence of primary liver cancers,and particularly hepatocellular carcinoma(Hcc),is increasing throughout the *** vast majority of Hccs develop on cirrhotic livers(cLs)(cL Hcc)or livers chronically infected by hepatotropic viruses,mainly hepatitis B virus(HBV)and hepatitis c virus(HcV)(1).As Hcc occurring on non-HBV non-HcV non-cL(NcL)Hcc occurs much less frequently,its management is less established than for cL ***,many clinicians might confuse the prognosis and management of NcL Hcc with the one of cL *** is however demonstrated that NcL Hccs behave differently than cL *** prognostic factors and sensibility to systemic therapy are different,added to the fact that NcLs can undergo major resections allowing curative surgical management or even systemic therapies that are not even possible in cL Hccs due to the failing function of the *** established criteria for liver transplantation of cL Hccs,including the famous Milan criteria,have no role in NcL Hcc management(2-4).The Barcelona clinic Liver cancer(BcLc)strategy for prognosis prediction and treatment recommendation also concerns only cL Hccs;and should not be used for NcL Hccs(5).

An Approach to Detect Structural Development Defects in Object-Oriented Programs

Structural development defects essentially refer to code structure that violates object-oriented design principles. They make program maintenance challenging and deteriorate software quality over time. Various detection approaches, ranging from traditional heuristic algorithms to machine learning methods, are used to identify these defects. Ensemble learning methods have strengthened the detection of these defects. However, existing approaches do not simultaneously exploit the capabilities of extracting relevant features from pre-trained models and the performance of neural networks for the classification task. Therefore, our goal has been to design a model that combines a pre-trained model to extract relevant features from code excerpts through transfer learning and a bagging method with a base estimator, a dense neural network, for defect classification. To achieve this, we composed multiple samples of the same size with replacements from the imbalanced dataset MLcQ1. For all the samples, we used the codeT5-small variant to extract features and trained a bagging method with the neural network Roberta classification Head to classify defects based on these features. We then compared this model to RandomForest, one of the ensemble methods that yields good results. Our experiments showed that the number of base estimators to use for bagging depends on the defect to be detected. Next, we observed that it was not necessary to use a data balancing technique with our model when the imbalance rate was 23%. Finally, for blob detection, RandomForest had a median Mcc value of 0.36 compared to 0.12 for our method. However, our method was predominant in Long Method detection with a median Mcc value of 0.53 compared to 0.42 for RandomForest. These results suggest that the performance of ensemble methods in detecting structural development defects is dependent on specific defects.

Introduction: Located in the central-western part of côte d’Ivoire, the subsoil of the Gagnoa region is made up of sedimentary volcano formations and granitoids with developed fracturing. This complex Precambrian basement contains most of the region’s water resources. This is at the origin of the high failure rate during the various hydrogeological prospecting campaigns. Methodology: The database consists of resistivities from 42 holes and 51 trails drilled as part of the implementation of high-throughput drilling in the study area. The objective of this study is to deepen the knowledge of the fissured basement by interpreting profile curves and electrical soundings. It will be a question of classifying the different types of anomalies obtained on the profiles and their shapes. The orientation of the lineaments observed on the profiles was determined. Results: The interpretation of the geophysical data revealed various anomalies, the main ones being of the cc (conductor compartment) and cEDP (contact between two bearings) types. These types of anomalies are mainly expressed in various forms: the “V”, “W” and “U” shapes. From these anomalies and the appearance of the electrical profiles, lineaments and their orientations were identified with N90-100, N130-140, N170-180 as major orientations. conclusion: These results could contribute to a better understanding of the fractured environment of the Gagnoa region.

cervical meningoceles are the least common forms of spina bifida, representing between 4% to 8% of all spinal dysraphisms. They are not accompanied by neurological deficit in childhood but attached cord syndrome can occur with growth. Surgical treatment, in addition to avoiding rupture and correcting the aesthetic damage, will preserve neurological functions. We report 2 cases that we took care of. They are a 5-month-old infant and a 3-year-old girl. The first presented a 7 cm rounded meningocele pedunculated through the c1 lamina defect. The second presented an 8.6 cm polylobed meningocele pedunculated through the c2 lamina defect. They both underwent surgery with good progress.

Several studies report the problem of cardiovascular tolerance of treatments with neuroleptics, given the important number of morbidities in patients with mental illnesses. This preliminary work aimed to describe the epidemiological and biological profile of patients taking neuroleptics and followed in the psychiatry department of Brazzaville University Hospital, from the angle of cardiovascular risk. Fifty (50) patients (17 men and 33 women), with a mean age of 33.9 10.7 years, were included. Epidemiological data (sex, age, tobacco or alcohol consumption) were collected on pre-established survey forms. Biochemical (total cholesterol, HDL-c, triglycerides and atherogenicity index) and inflammatory parameters (ultra-sensitive cRP, troponin I and NT-ProBNP) were investigated using enzymatic and indirect immunofluorescence technical, respectively. The results obtained showed that 54% of patients were obese, 94% were non-smokers, and 12% had high blood pressure. 10% of patients had high total cholesterol levels and 90% had HDL cholesterol levels below 60 mg/dl. Triglycerides and atherogenicity index were significantly elevated in relation to Body Mass Index (BMI). Ultrasensitive cRP was elevated in 38% of patients. In conclusion, this study revealed an association between lipid parameters (triglycerides and atherogenicity index) in relation to BMI in patients taking neuroleptics followed in the Psychiatry Department of University Hospital center of Brazzaville.

Ischemic preconditioning(IPc)is an attractive method for athletes owing to its potential to enhance exercise ***,the effectiveness of the IPc intervention in the field of sports science remains *** number of cycles of ischemia and reperfusion,as well as the duration of the cycle,varies from one study to another;Thus,the aim of this systematic review was to provide a comprehensive review examining the IPc literature in sports science.A systematic literature search was performed in PubMed(MEDLINE)(from 1946 to May 2018),Web of Science(sport sciences)(from 1945 to May 2018),and EMBASE(from 1974 to May 2018).We included all studies investigating the effects of IPc on exercise performance in human *** assess scientific evidence for each study,this review was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses *** electronic database search generated 441 potential articles that were screened for eligibility.A total of 52 studies were identified as eligible and valid for this systematic *** studies included were of high quality,with 48 of the 52 studies having a ran?domized,controlled trial *** studied showed that IPc intervention can be beneficial to exercise ***,IPc intervention seems to be more beneficial to healthy subjects who wish to enhance their performance in aerobic exercises than ***,this systematic review highlights that a better knowledge of the mechanisms generated by the IPc intervention would make it possible to optimize the protocols according to the characteristics of the subjects with the aim of suggesting to the subjects the best possible experience of IPc intervention.

Pharmaceutical co-crystals have been explored by many researchers as a strategy to optimize physicochemical properties of solid-state *** improvements of solubility,bioavailability,and the reduced tendency for phase transformation occurrence,are factors that highlight benefits of pharmaceutical co-crystals among other solid *** to the Biopharmaceutical classification System(BcS),non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs)are class Ⅱ drugs,which have low aqueous solubility and therefore co-crystallization has the potential to optimize NSAID product *** this review,we highlight the recent progress made on NSAIDs co-crystals,their co-formers,synthesis,methods and use,while we underline some promising results on in vitro and in vivo co-crystal properties.A celecoxib-tramadol co-crystal reaches phase Ⅲ clinical trials,showing greater analgesic activity than both individual *** aqueous solubility of the co-crystal formed between l-proline and diclofenac is very high in comparison with the pure *** co-crystals with urea and thiourea have an increase of drug release of almost 60%.co-crystal design brings a new perspective in drug development since the co-former used can also be a biologically active component allowing to combine different anti-inflammatory drugs,which have an incredible spec.rum of application due to the analgesic,anti-pyretic and anti-inflammatory properties.

经过数年对神经电极微尺寸技术的研究,研究人员期望获得对神经组织更小的侵入性伤害,但是现在微尺寸技术对降低植入‘损伤的性能改善已经触及了机械损伤的极限。最近一些新的电极形状设计（正弦型形状）为减小电极植入的侵入性伤害、提高电极记录性能开辟了新的可能性。本文旨在继续探索这种新的电极设计方法,并使其适应最新的神经组织刺激技术:光遗传学技术。本文的目标是找到导光性能良好的柔性形状。首先开展设计可行性研究:形状、材料和制作工艺。在形状和制作工艺层面主要遵循已经发表的有关正弦型电极的结论。这部分还要求必须为光学导向器找到具有良好柔韧性、生物相容性和适宜折射率的芯/包层材料。出于以上考虑,研究中放弃了将Parylene-c/Parylene-N组合作为芯/包层材料的选择。其次,使用两种不同的方法进行光学仿真:光束和光线追踪方法。结果显示了不同的形状参数对光传导的影响。由此,选择了若干组光传导性能较好的形状设计。最后,将在光学仿真软件中找到的各种形状进行力学仿真,得到表征其柔韧性的数据,将其与正弦型电极的侵入性数据进行比较。由于研究中保持了与正弦型电极相同的全局性设计,可以得出新设计电极的侵入性伤害的结论。本文最后得出了一组光学正弦型电极的形状参数、机械和光学特征,理论上可以在改善长期植入电极的植入损伤与记录性能。
