In recent years,molecular electrochemistry has undergone a remarkable renaissance to surface as a sustainable strategy for organic synthesis and catalysis,gaining considerable momentum by the use of renewable forms of energy[1,2].Modern organic electrochemistry has the unique power to control chemo-,regio-,and position-selectivities through the judicious choice of the electrode material,the applied potential or an additional catalyst,among others[1,2].Despite the major advances in molecular electrochemistry,these approaches continue to predominantly rely on non-renewable fossil resources.

Individual differences in behavior have large consequences for the way in which ecology impacts *** differ in how they explore their environment and how exploratory behavior benefits *** group-living animals,behavioral heterogeneity can be beneficial because different individuals perform different *** example,exploratory individuals may discover new food sources and recruit group members to exploit the food,while less exploratory individuals forgo the risks of *** we ask how individual variation in exploratory behavior affects the ability of Argentine ant Linepithema humile colonies to(1)locate novel food sources,(2)exploit known food resources,and(3)respond to disruptions while *** address these questions,we conducted field experiments on *** foraging trails in which we manipulated food availability near and at the foraging trails and disrupted the foraging *** sampled individuals based on their response to the perturbations in the field and tested their exploratory behavior in the *** found that exploratory individuals benefit the colony by locating novel foods and increasing resource exploitation,but they do not play an important role in the recovery of a foraging trail after ***,the benefits of behavioral heterogeneity to the group,specifically in exploratory behavior,differ across ecological contexts.

Electricity is predicted to be the energy vector that will undergo major changes in the future,and a transition would be observed in the resources such as waste and residual biomass that we use to satisfy the energy ***,this study aims to highlight the main economic and environmental performances of different biowaste-to-energy technologies for small-scale electricity generation by comparing the direct combustion of refined vegetable oil obtained from waste cooking oils(thermal pathway),anaerobic digestion of biowaste(biochemical pathway),and gasification of wood residues(thermochemical pathway).The economic analysis is mainly based on personal experiences in the energy sector and shows an overview of the performance in investment of combined heat and power(CHP)systems,ranging from 100 to 500 kW for a period of 20 *** environmental assessment is conducted considering the life-cycle thinking approach using support from the openLCA software,product environmental footprint(PEF)database,and previous studies that have reported environmental inventory data from real industrial cases.

Sampling-based path planning is a popular methodology for robot path *** a uniform sampling strategy to explore the state space,a feasible path can be found without the complex geometric modeling of the configuration ***,the quality of the initial solution is not guaranteed,and the convergence speed to the optimal solution is *** this paper,we present a novel image-based path planning algorithm to overcome these ***,a generative adversarial network(GAN)is designed to take the environment map(denoted as RGB image)as the input without other preprocessing *** output is also an RGB image where the promising region(where a feasible path probably exists)is *** promising region is utilized as a heuristic to achieve non-uniform sampling for the path *** conduct a number of simulation experiments to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method,and the results demonstrate that our method performs much better in terms of the quality of the initial solution and the convergence speed to the optimal ***,apart from the environments similar to the training set,our method also works well on the environments which are very different from the training set.
