We report two ch.ldren with.renovascular h.pertension and fibromuscular dysplasia. Th.y initially presented with.severe h.ponatremia,h.pokalemia,polyuria,and transient proteinuria. Th.s combination of symptoms is known to occur in patients with.renovascular and malignant h.pertension,and is known as h.ponatremic-h.pertensive syndrome (h.S),alth.ugh.it is considered rare in ch.ldren. Since in both.of our patients,th. renal arterial stenosis was very severely or almost totally occlusive,we could not perform percutaneous transluminal renal artery angioplasty,and th.refore neph.ectomy was th. only option. A h.stological study sh.wed partial or complete occlusion with.intimal h.perplasia and medial fibroplasia of intrarenal arteries such.as th. interlobular arteries. Conclusion: Both.patients sh.wed rapidly progressive renovascular h.pertension and loss of function of th. affected kidney. In order to preserve renal function in such.cases,early invasive intervention appears to be necessary.

使用红外炉发展了一种从活化混凝土中提取氚的方法。通过研究氚的提取效率与加热温度、加热时间的关系,获得了氚的提取优化条件为在800℃下加热30 min,Ar气流量设置为200 mL/min。氚由两个冷凝管收集,然后装到1个小玻璃瓶中,与液体闪烁体混合,使用液体闪烁计数器计数。使用这种方法提取氚只需55 min。相对于使用电子炉提取氚的方法,氚的提取效率可达到100%。收集了两个加速器屏蔽体中的混凝土样品,测量了样品中的γ射线核素和氚的放射性比活度。结果显示,氚的比活度与152Eu和60Co的比活度有很强的相关性。可得出结论:氚主要产生于热中子俘获反应6Li(n,α)3h.因而,可使用60Co的放射性比活度简单估计活化的混凝土样品中氚的放射性比活度。

Th. bacterial path.gen h.licobacter pylori (h. pylori) colonizes in over h.lf of th. world’s population. h. pylori th.t establish.s life-long infection in th. stomach.is definitely associated with.gastro-duodenal diseases and a wide variety of non-gastrointestinal tract conditions such.as immune th.ombocytopenia. Triple th.rapy wh.ch.consists of a proton pump inh.bitor and combinations of two antibiotics (amoxicillin, clarith.omycin or amoxicillin, metronidazol) is commonly used for h. pylori eradication. Recently, th. occurrence of drug-resistant h. pylori and th. adverse effect of antibiotics h.ve severely weakened eradication th.rapy. Generally antibiotics induce th. disturbance of h.man gastrointestinal microflora. Furth.rmore, th.re are inappropriate cases of triple th.rapy such.as allergy to antibiotics, severe complications (liver and/or kidney dysfunction), th. aged and people wh. reject th. triple th.rapy. Th.se prompt us to seek alterative agents instead of antibiotics and to develop more effective and safe th.rapy with.th.se agents. Th. combination of th.se agents actually may result in lower a dose of antibiotics. Th.re are many reports world-wide th.t non-antibiotic substances from natural products potentially h.ve an anti-h. pylori agent. We briefly review th. constituents derived from nature th.t figh. against h. pylori in th. literature with.our studies.

Th. reactions γd→π-pp and γd→npπ+π-h.ve been studied in an energy range from 0.8 to 1.1 GeV at th. tagged ph.ton facility of Laboratory of Nuclear Science,Toh.ku University. Ch.rged pions and protons in th. final state were measured by using th. Neutral Kaon Spectrometer (NKS2). Th. analysis of th. γd→π-pp was mainly used to ch.ck th. acceptance of th. NKS2 and to calibrate th. tagged ph.ton energy. Th. ph.toproduction of th. Δ++Δ-was identified in th. γd→npπ+π-reaction. Since th. data analyses are still in progress,we issue an interim report and preliminary results.

In th.s study, waste glycerol from biodiesel pretreatment was tested as catalyst for th. supercritical water gasification. h.drogen fermentation solid residue of food waste（FW-h.SR） was gasified in th. supercritical water gasification reactor with.and with.ut FW-h.SR. Th. FW-h.SR sh.wed good catalytic effect. Considering reagent glycerol does not sh.w any catalytic effect, KOh.in waste glycerol sh.uld h.ve worked as catalyst. Based on th.s finding, first-order rate equation h.s been developed, and good agreement with.experimental result.

CRISPR-Cas9 tech.ology and completely replaced rice RbcS with.sorgh.m RbcS in rice *** h.brid Rubisco sh.wed almost C4 plant-like catalytic properties,i.e.,h.gh.r kcai,h.gh.r Kc,and lower Sc/*** lines expressing th. h.brid Rubisco accumulated reduced levels of Rubisco,wh.reas th.y sh.wed sligh.ly but significantly h.gh.r ph.tosynth.tic capacity and similar biomass production under h.gh.C 02 condition compared with.wild-type ***-resolution crystal structural analysis of th. wild-type Rubisco and h.brid Rubisco revealed th. structural differences around th. central pore of Rubisco and th. pC-pD h.irpin in *** propose th.t such.differences,particularly in th. pC-pD h.irpin,may impact th. flexibility of Rubisco catalytic site and ch.nge its catalytic properties.

BACKGROUND Concomitant ulcerative colitis (UC) and idiopath.c th.ombocytopenic purpura(ITP) is a rare ph.nomenon. Th. management of UC with.ITP can be ch.llenging,since a decreased platelet count augments *** SUMMARY A 24-year-old man with.UC and steroid-resistant ITP experienced UC *** continuous infusion of cyclosporine was initiated, UC did not *** administration of tofacitinib subsequently led to th. induction of *** patient h.s maintained remission of UC and ITP for over one year ontofacitinib treatment. Wh.le transcriptomic sequencing was performed forinflamed rectal mucosae obtained before and after th. initiation of Janus kinase(JAK) inh.bitor, suggesting th.t distinct molecular signatures seemed to beregulated by JAK inh.bitors and oth.r conventional th.rapies including tumornecrosis factor *** Tofacitinib sh.uld be considered in refractory cases of UC with.ITP.

In order to clear th. activated area in electrostatic accelerator facilities,four accelerator facilities were selected and typical neutron emission experiments were *** flux during operation and induced activity caused by ch.rged particles on th. accelerator and its surrounding area after irradiation were *** th. monitored neutron flux and calculated value by Monte Carlo calculation using Ph.TS code were *** was confirmed th.t th. results between calculated data and measured data sh.wed th. good agreement with.each.***,it was concluded th.t we h.ve to take care th. activation of beam line and ***,it is not necessary to treat accelerator tank,surrounding materials,and building concrete as radioactive materials in case of decommissioning.
