A garnet-bearing schist from the southernmost such exposure along the Himalaya in east central Nepal records prograde metamorphism at 32.4±0.3 *** equilibria modelling,combined with ti-in-biotite and quartz caxis thermometry,outline a tight-to-hairpin pressure-temperature(P-t)path extending from~515℃ and 5.5 kbar to peak conditions at~575℃ and 7 kbar followed by deformation during the retrograde phase at 480-515℃ and 6-7 *** new geochronology data place an upper bound on the evolution of metamorphism and deformation in the frontal-most part of the Himalaya,which lasted until 17.5 Ma,as indicated by previously published ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar *** P-t-time data from this part of the Himalaya,as well as that from more hinterlandward portions of the orogen,outline a progressive,stepwise,commonly out-of-sequence *** data from along the orogen indicates that this evolution is not a local phenomenon,but instead characterizes the tectonics of this system as a whole.

In this paper,we propose an approach to determine seven parameters of the Helmert transfor-mation by transforming the coordinates of a continuous GNSS network from the World Geodetic System 1984(WGS84)to the International terrestrial Reference *** includes(1)convert-ing the coordinates of common points from the global coordinate system to the local coordinate system,(2)identifying and eliminating outliers by the dikin estimator,and(3)estimating seven parameters of the Helmert transformation by least squares(LS)estimation with the“clean”data(*** removed).Herein,the local coordinate system provides a platform to separate points’horizontal and vertical ***,the dikin estimator identifies and eliminates outliers in the horizontal or vertical component *** is significant because common points in a continuous GNSS network may contain *** proposed approach is tested with the Géoazur GNSS network with the results showing that the dikin estimator detects outliers at 6 out of 18 common points,among which three points are found with outliers in the vertical compo-nent ***,instead of eliminating all coordinate components of these six common points,we only eliminate all coordinate components of three common points and only the vertical component of another three common ***,the classical LS estimation is applied to“clean”data to estimate seven parameters of the Helmert transformation with a significant accuracy *** dikin estimator’s results are compared to those of other robust estimators of Huber and theil-Sen,which shows that the dikin estimator performs ***,the weighted total least-squares estimation is implemented to assess the accuracy of the LS estimation with the same *** inter-comparison of the seven estimated parameters and their standard deviations shows a small difference at a few per million levels(E-6).

this paper proposes a power system concept that integrates photovoltaic （PV） and thermoelectric （tE） technologies to harvest solar energy from a wide spectral range. By introduction of the ＇spectrum beam splitting＇ technique, short wavelength solar radiation is converted directly into electricity in the PV cells, while the long wavelength segment of the spectrum is used to produce moderate to high temperature thermal energy, which then generates electricity in the tE device. to overcome the intermittent nature of solar radiation, the system is also coupled to a thermal energy storage unit. A systematic analysis of the integrated system is carried out, encompassing the system configuration, material properties, thermal management, and energy storage aspects. We have also attempted to optimize the integrated system. the results indicate that the system configuration and optimization are the most important factors for high overall efficiency.

In this work,we explore the use of an iterative Bayesian Monte Carlo(iBMC)method for nuclear data evaluation within a tALYS Evaluated Nuclear data Library(tENdL)*** goal is to probe the model and parameter space of the tALYS code system to find the optimal model and parameter sets that reproduces selected experimental *** method involves the simultaneous variation of many nuclear reaction models as well as their parameters included in the tALYS ***‘best’model set with its parameter set was obtained by comparing model calculations with selected experimental *** experimental data types were used:(1)reaction cross sections,(2)residual production cross sections,and(3)the elastic angular *** improve our fit to experimental data,we update our‘best’parameter set—the file that maximizes the likelihood function—in an iterative *** was determined by monitoring the evolution of the maximum likelihood estimate(MLE)values and was considered reached when the relative change in the MLE for the last two iterations was within 5%.Once the final‘best’file is identified,we infer parameter uncertainties and covariance information to this file by varying model parameters around this *** this way,we ensured that the parameter distributions are centered on our *** proposed method was applied to the evaluation of p+^(59)Co between 1 and 100 ***,the adjusted files were compared with experimental data from the EXFOR database as well as with evaluations from the tENdL-2019,JENdL/He-2007 and JENdL-4.0/HE nuclear data libraries.

AIM to characterize the efficacy of the dual FXR/tGR5 receptor agonist INt-767 upon histological endpoints in a rodent model of diet-induced and biopsy-confirmed non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH).MEtHOdS the effects of INt-767 on histological features of NASH were assessed in two studies using Lep^(ob/ob)(ob/ob) NASH mice fed the AMLN diet(high fat with transfat, cholesterol and fructose). In a proof-of-conceptstudy, Lep^(ob/ob)(ob/ob) NASH mice were first dosed with INt-767(3 or 10 mg/kg for 8 wk). A second ob/ob NASH study compared INt-767(3 and 10 mg/kg) to obeticholic acid(OCA)(10 or 30 mg/kg; 16 wk). Primary histological endpoints included qualitative and quantitative assessments of NASH. Other metabolic and plasma endpoints were also assessed. A comparative assessment of INt-767 and OCA effects on drug distribution and hepatic gene expression was performed in C57 Bl/6 mice on standard chow. C57 Bl/6 mice were orally dosed with INt-767 or OCA(1-30 mg/kg) for 2 wk, and expression levels of candidate genes were assessed by RNA sequencing and tissue drug levels were measured by liquid chromatography tandem-mass *** INt-767 dose-dependently(3 and 10 mg/kg, PO, Qd, 8 wk) improved qualitative morphometric scores on steatohepatitis severity, inflammatory infiltrates and fibrosis stage. Quantitative morphometric analyses revealed that INt-767 reduced parenchymal collagen area, collagen fiber density, inflammation(assessed by Galectin-3 immunohistochemistry) and hepatocyte lipid droplet area following INt-767 treatment. In a comparative study(16 wk), the FXR agonists OCA(10 and 30 mg/kg) and INt-767(3 and 10 mg/kg) both improved NASH histopathology, with INt-767 exerting greater therapeutic potency and efficacy than OCA. Mechanistic studies suggest that both drugs accumulate similarly within the liver and ileum, however, the effects of INt-767 may be driven by enhanced hepatic, but not ileal, FXR function.
