Naturalﬁbre as a reinforcing agent has been widely used in many industrial ***,several factors need to be considered,such as the size and weight percentage of theﬁbre used in *** fused deposition modelling(FDM),this factor was investigated by varying the size of naturalﬁbre as the responding variable with aﬁxed weight percentage of kenafﬁ*** process of modifying the naturalﬁbre in terms of size might increase the dispersion of kenafﬁbre in the polymer matrix and increase the adhesion bonding between theﬁbre and matrix of composites,subsequently improving the interfacial bonding between these two *** this paper,the effect ofﬁbre size was evaluated by performing the mechanical test,Scanning Electron Micrograph(SEM)to observe the morphology of the composites,and also by surface *** surface roughness was visualised using a 3D proﬁlometer and theﬁgure was illustrated as colour shading in the *** composite withﬁbre size≤100μm displayed better tensile andﬂexural strength,compared to other *** conclusion,by reducing the size of theﬁbre,the composites could develop high strength performance for industrial applications.

This paper describes the fabrication of a waveguide and the analysis of its polarization characteristics by applying light-emitting diode(LED) pumping lights to its *** using double tubed coaxial line(DTCL) microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition(MPCVD) equipment,an a-Si:H/SiN multilayer waveguide was fabricated whose thickness could be controlled at nanometer *** main structural material of the waveguide sample consisted of a combination of layers of amorphous silicon hydrogen and silicon *** the sample was ready,another major objective of the experiment was to analyze the polarization characteristics of the fabricated *** idea of the experiment was to analyze how the waveguide reacts when three types of LED(blue,yellow,and red) are radiated onto its *** results showed that the fabrication of the a-Si:H/SiN sample is *** effective transmission results,which accord with the polarization characteristics analysis,were obtained.

Diabetes mellitus(DM)is known to cause reproductive *** men,it has been linked to altered sperm quality and testicular *** stress(OS)plays a pivotal role in the development of DM ***(GSH)is a part of a nonenzymatic antioxidant defense system that protects lipid,protein,and nucleic acids from oxidative ***,the protective effects of exogenous GSH on the male reproductive system have not been comprehensively *** study determined the impact of GSH supplementation in ameliorating the adverse effect of type 1 DM on sperm quality and the seminiferous tubules of diabetic C57BL/6NTac *** at the doses of 15 mg kg^(-1)and 30 mg kg^(-1)was given intraperitoneally to mice weekly for 6 consecutive *** mice were then weighed,euthanized,and had their reproductive organs *** diabetic(D Group)showed significant impairment of sperm quality and testicular histology compared with the nondiabetic(ND Group).Diameters of the seminiferous lumen in diabetic mice treated with 15 mg kg^(-1) GSH(DGSH15)were decreased compared with the D *** motility was also significantly increased in the DGSH15 *** in testicular morphology might be an early indication of the protective roles played by the exogenous GSH in protecting sperm quality from effects of untreated type 1 DM or diabetic *** investigation using different doses and different routes of GSH is necessary to confirm this suggestion.

Objective:To observe the effects of vitamin E on post-vitrification preimplantation development,gross morphology as well as mitochondrial distribution and ***:Twenty-four female C57BL/6NTac mice,aged 12-16 weeks,were randomly divided into four *** A did not receive any treatment and served as the control *** B was treated with corn oil stripped of tocopherols and served as the vehicle *** C was treated with 60 mg/kg body weight of tocotrienol-rich-fraction with corn oil stripped of *** D was treated with 60 mg/kg body weight of alpha-tocopherol with corn oil stripped of *** treatments were administered orally for 7 consecutive *** superovulation and mating with fertile males,2-cell stage embryos were harvested for *** vitrification development in vitro,gross morphology and ultrastructure were compared between ***:The number of 2 and 8-cell embryo,and blastocysts in the treatment and control groups were not significantly different(P>0.05).Following vitrification,all 2-cell embryos had equal-sized blastomeres and intact zona *** aggregation toward the perinuclear region was seen in all of the treatment *** groups C and D had vacuolated mitochondria,which was reflected in the trend of preimplantation development ***:Vitamin E supplementation of 60 mg/kg body weight does not improve the viability of healthy embryos according to this *** a result,the most effective dose of vitamin E supplementation may be determined by the initial quality of the embryos.
