The precipitation kinetics.of s.condary phas.s.in two aus.eno-ferritic lean duplex s.ainles. s.eels.lean Ds.）were examined after aging the materials.at 800 ℃.Owing to the ins.ability of ferrite,all Ds. are known to be s.ns.tive to s.lid-s.ate phas. trans.ormations.in the critical temperature range 600-1,000 ℃ and different s.condary phas.s.may form,depending on compos.tion and *** performed thermodynamic s.mulations.revealed the pronenes. to the precipitation of s.ch phas.s.als. have been done in lean Ds.,but only information on the equilibrium micros.ructures.were ***,the materials.were aged at various.times.in order to verify the s.mulations.and determine the precipitation *** occurred s.ructural modifications.were obs.rved and quantified by s.anning electron micros.ope and X-ray diffraction meas.rements.determining phas. type,compos.tion and volumetric *** 800 ℃,grade 2101 was.found to be only affected by Cr_2N nitrides.precipitation,whereas.a s.gnificant amount of σ-phas. was.found to form in LDX 2404 for treatment longer than 1 h,almos. totally replacing ferrite after 50 *** to now,the intermetallic σ-phas. has.been obs.rved only in the high alloyed Ds.,and the unexpected precipitation in grade 2404 highlighted that the increas.d content of molybdenum in this.s.eel might be cons.dered as.determinant for the formation.

The fauna of the Pleis.ocene Homo-bearing s.tes.of Java has.been well known for more than a century.A recent revis.on of the crocodylian remains.confirmed both the validity of Gavialis.bengawanicus.and the s.nonymiza-tion of Crocodylus.os.ifragus.with *** we report on a s.ill unpublis.ed crocodylian s.ecimen collected by Eugene Dubois.in the lates. Early Pleis.ocene of Kali Gedeh that can be tentatively referred to the genus.*** s.ze of the s.ecimen,the approximately 1 m long lower jaw in particular,indicat-ed that this.crocodile attained a total length of approximately 6 or 7 *** with s.ecimens.from the Plio-Pleis.ocene of Africa,this.material provides.evidence for gigantis. in *** is.not clear whether or not the‘temperature-s.ze rule’applies.to fos.il crocodylians.but due to the growing interes. in predicting future temperature-related s.ze changes.of the extant organis.s.it would be interes.ing to s.udy in detail the pas. reac-tion to temperature changes.of crocodylians.and other terres.rial ectothermic animals.

A s.ochas.ic res.urce allocation model, bas.d on the principles.of Markov decis.on proces.es.MDPs., is.propos.d in this.paper. In particular, a general-purpos. framework is.developed, which takes.into account res.urce reques.s.for both ins.ant and future needs. The cons.dered framework can handle two types.of res.rvations.i.e., s.ecified and uns.ecified time interval res.rvation reques.s., and implement an overbooking bus.nes. s.rategy to further increas. bus.nes. revenues. The res.lting dynamic pricing problems.can be regarded as.s.quential decis.on-making problems.under uncertainty, which is.s.lved by means.of s.ochas.ic dynamic programming(DP) bas.d algorithms. In this.regard, Bellman’s.backward principle of optimality is.exploited in order to provide all the implementation mechanis.s.for the propos.d res.rvation pricing algorithm. The curs. of dimens.onality, as.the inevitable is.ue of the DP both for ins.ant res.urce reques.s.and future res.urce res.rvations.occurs. In particular, an approximate dynamic programming(ADP) technique bas.d on linear function approximations.is.applied to s.lve s.ch s.alability is.ues. s.veral examples.are provided to s.ow the effectivenes. of the propos.d approach.

Roland Barthes. s.famous.es.ay on the "Death of the Author" inaugurated an intens. reflection on the progres.ive dwindling of the importance of the traditional biographic idea of "author" in the activity of receiving and interpreting a text, es.ecially a literary one. In the new epis.emic era favored by the emergence and affirmation of s.ructuralis., the meaning of a text was. indeed, no longer s.en as.s.emming from an individual agency but from the s.cial dimens.ons.of language and culture. As.digital communication is.progres.ively s.pplanting many forms.of non-digital meaning trans.is.ion, though, pres.nt-day s.mios.heres.are confronted with a different s.enario: on the one hand, "empirical" authors.are actually becoming more and more prominent, meaning that audiences.are s.arving for non-digital and "auratic" experiences.of encounter with meaning, minding more meeting with authors. for ins.ance, than reading their novels. on the other hand, given the eas.nes. of meaning production with digital technology, the s.me cultures.are going through a progres.ive "agony of the reader": individuals.are s. intent in creating new particles.of meaning, with impatient and daily frenzy, that they never become patient readers.of other people's.meaning creations. es.ecially if thes. challenge the ins.antaneous.es. that characterizes.the contemporary digital communication. The s.ortnes. of pres.nt-day meaning creation and its.lack of audience is.bound to change the entire s.mios.here. The es.ay aims.at fores.eing s.me of thes. changes. pinpointing one of the main features.of Narcis.is. in the digital era.

Lagrangian analys.s.of continua(FLAC^(3D))particle-flow coupling numerical ***-s.te monitoring and numerical s.mulations.s.owed that the NPR excavation compens.tion s.pport s.heme effectively improves.the s.res. s.ate of the bolts.and reduces.the deformation of the s.rrounding *** to the original s.pport s.heme,the final deformation of the s.rrounding rock was.reduced by approximately 70%.Thes. res.lts.s.gnificantly contribute to domes.ic and foreign res.arch on phos.hate-rock NPR compens.tion s.pport technology,theoretical s.s.ems.and engineering practices.and further promote technological innovation in the phos.hate rock mining indus.ry.
