Salivary gland tumors represent 2% - 6.5% of all head and neck tumors. Since salivary gland tumors have various clinical features and histological types, it is often difficult to diagnose and treat them. The aim of this study was to conduct a retrospective clinical-statistical analysis of 37 minor salivary gland tumors (MSGTs) treated in the Department of Oral Surgery at Nihon University School of Dentistry at Matsudo over a 16-year period. The frequencies and distributions of sex, age, occurrence site, preoperative examination (fine needle cytology and/or biopsy), treatment, and prognosis of the tumors were analyzed and compared with previous reports. The average age at diagnosis was 58.1 years (range 22 - 91 years). The peak occurrence of tumors was in the sixties (10 cases, 27.0%), followed by the forties (8 cases, 21.6%) and the seventies (7 cases, 18.9%). The average age of patients with benign tumors was 56.8 years (range 22 - 91 years). For malignant tumors, the average age was 61.7 years (range 42 - 81 years). The male-female ratio was 1:2.1 for all minor salivary gland tumors, 1:2.4 for benign tumors, and 1.5:1 for malignant tumors. There were 27 (73.0%) benign and 10 (27.0%) malignant tumors. Pleomorphic adenoma (PA) was the most common tumor (24 (64.9%) cases). Most salivary gland tumors originated from the palate (21 cases, 56.8%);the second most common site was the buccal mucosa (14 cases, 37.8%). For most patients, an intraoral mass was the primary presentation, and the second most common symptom was swelling. Surgical treatment was performed for all cases, both benign and malignant tumors. There was one case of local recurrence of PA, as well as one of multiple lung metastases after surgery for adenoid cystic carcinoma. Diagnosis and treatment of MSGTs are often delayed because the patients have few symptoms, and it is difficult to distinguish benign from malignant tumors. BACKGROUND Rapid urinary trypsinogen-2 dipstick test and levels of urinary trypsinogen-2 and trypsinogen activation peptide(TAP) concentration have been reported as prognostic markers for the diagnosis of acute *** To reconfirm the validity of all these markers in the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis by undertaking a multi-center study in *** Patients with acute abdominal pain were recruited from 17 medical institutions in Japan from April 2009 to December 2012. Urinary and serum samples were collected twice, at enrollment and on the following day for measuring target markers. The diagnosis and severity assessment of acute pancreatitis were assessed based on prognostic factors and computed tomography(CT) Grade of the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare *** A total of 94 patients were enrolled during the study period. The trypsinogen-2 dipstick test was positive in 57 of 78 patients with acute pancreatitis(sensitivity,73.1%) and in 6 of 16 patients with abdominal pain but without any evidence of acute pancreatitis(specificity, 62.5%). The area under the curve(AUC) score of urinary trypsinogen-2 according to prognostic factors was 0.704, which was highest in all parameter. The AUC scores of urinary trypsinogen-2 and TAP according to CT Grade were 0.701 and 0.692, respectively, which shows higher than other pancreatic enzymes. The levels of urinary trypsinogen-2 and TAP were significantly higher in patients with extended extra-pancreatic inflammation as evaluated by CT *** We reconfirmed urinary trypsinogen-2 dipstick test is useful as a marker for the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis. Urinary trypsinogen-2 and TAP may be considered as useful markers to determine extra-pancreatic inflammation in acute pancreatitis.

Rhesus and several other species of monkeys are susceptible to genotypes of hepatitis E virus(HEV),and these species are thus commonly used as animal models for experimental HEV ***,information regarding HEV infection in monkeys in nature or at monkey farms is *** investigate the status of HEV infection in rhesus monkeys at farms,we collected 548 serum and 48 fecal samples from a rhesus monkey farm in China,and analyzed their levels of anti-HEV IgG antibodies and HEV *** enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using genotype 3 HEV-like particles as antigen revealed anti-HEV IgG-positivity in 388(70.8%) *** antibody-positive rates in the 1-year-old and 2-year-old monkeys were signifificantly lower than those in monkeys > 3 years *** antibody-positive rate was greatly increased from 7.4% in the2-year-old monkeys to 100% in the 3-year-olds,suggesting that the latter received HEV infection at a high *** RNA was detected in one of 88 sera from 1-and 2-year-old monkeys and 10 of 48 fecal specimens from 3-year-old monkeys by reverse transcription-polymerase chain *** analyses revealed that the HEV strain RmKM15 was present in a serum sample that belonged to subtype 4 b in genotype 4,whereas 10 strains detected in the fecal specimens belonged to subtype 4 h,suggesting that two genetically difffferent strains were circulating at the ***,no signifificant clinical signs were observed in these *** studies are required to identify the source of infection and to evaluate the pathogenicity of HEV in rhesus monkeys.

Familial pancreatic cancer (FPC) is broadly defined as two first-degree-relatives with pancreatic cancer (PC) and accounts for 4%-10% of PC. Several genetic syndromes, including Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, hereditary pancreatitis, hereditary breast-ovarian cancer syndrome(HBOC), Lynch syndrome, and familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), also have increased risks of PC, but the narrowest definition of FPC excludes these known syndromes. When compared with other familial tumors, proven genetic alterations are limited to a small proportion (Caucasian) and a younger onset are common also in FPC. In European countries, "anticipation" is reported in FPC families, as with other hereditary syndromes; a trend toward younger age and worse prognosis is recognized in the late years. The resected pancreases of FPC kindred often show multiple pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (Pan IN) foci, with various K-ras mutations, similar to colorectal polyposis seen in the FAP patients. As with HBOC patients, a patient who is a BRCA mutation carrier with unresectable pancreatic cancer (accounting for 0%-19% of FPC patients) demonstrated better outcome following platinum and Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitor treatment. Western countries have established FPC registries since the 1990 s and several surveillance projects for highrisk individuals are now ongoing to detect early PCs. Improvement in lifestyle habits, including non-smoking, is recommended for individuals at risk. In Japan, the FPC study group was initiated in 2013 and the Japanese FPC registry was established in 2014 by the Japan Pancreas Society.

首先被提及的是上行及下行系统。在偏瘫患者的治疗过程中,上行传导系统主要传导本体感觉信息,但其他的感觉信息也会被整合其中。患者的姿势控制,尤其是核心控制能力,是其步行功能、上肢和手功能及日常生活活动的基础。由于患者多存在身体图式的缺失,因此必须恢复其身体图式以产生先行性姿势调节活动。最后介绍1例慢性病例的治疗过程,该患者在其47岁时由于脑梗死造成了右侧偏瘫。由于患者偏瘫侧下肢表现出强烈的内翻现象,因此在她发病8个月后入院时,需要配戴踝足矫形器和肘拐辅助行走。起初患者不能抬起右侧上肢。在经过4年的门诊治疗后,现在患者在步行中内翻现象消失,不再需要配戴踝足矫形器和肘拐;患者也可以举起并控制偏瘫侧上肢伸入衬衫的袖子里。

水在地球内部起着重要作用,它影响着周围物质的物理和化学性质,例如弹性、流变性、导电性和熔化行为。一系列致密含水镁硅酸盐(DHMSs)是水向地幔过渡带,甚至是下地幔运输的主要载体。在DHMSs相中,Phase D相被认为是水在地幔过渡带到下地慢中部的潜在载体。最近,人们发现Phase D可以容纳大量的Al2O3(56.6 wt%),并且含铝的Phase D在26 GPa压力下可以稳定存在至2273K,暗示着Phase D可能存在于接近真实成分和温度的俯冲板块中。
