Myocardial infarction without angiographic moderate to severe stenosis(>50%)and any other related diagnosis on clinical presentation is defined as myocardial infarction with nonobstructive coronary arteries(MINOCA).Common causes of MINOCA working diagnosis includes plaque disruption,spontaneous coronary artery dissection,coronary artery spasm,coronary thromboembolism,Takotsubo cardiomyopathy,and *** history,assay of myocardial enzymes,electrocardiogram,echocardiography,coronary angiography,and left ventriculography facilitate the initial diagnosis of MINOCA and reveal the underlying causes,while cardiovascular magnetic resonance and optical coherence tomography(OCT)are used to confirm the *** cardiovascular magnetic resonance is the gold standard noninvasive diagnostic tool for MINOCA,its ability to diagnose the cause and mechanism underlying this condition in the coronary arteries is limited because of its image *** studies have demonstrated that OCT can be used to determine the underlying cause of MINOCA by investigating the characteristics of the culprit lesions and to predict the prognosis of the *** this article,we review the current diagnostic approach for MINOCA focusing on each imaging ***,we reevaluate the role of OCT in the clinical management of *** the cause of MINOCA through OCT might help select optimal and effective drug treatments and improve prognosis.

Diabetes mellitus is a powerful risk factor of coronary artery disease(CAD), leading to death and disability. In recent years, given the accumulating evidence that prediabetes is also related to increasing risk of CAD including cardiovascular events, a new guideline has been proposed for the treatment of blood cholesterolfor primary prevention of cardiovascular events. This guideline recommends aggressive lipid-lowering statin therapy for primary prevention in diabetes and other patients. The ultimate goal of patient management is to inhibit progression of systemic atherosclerosis and prevent fatal cardiovascular events such as acute coronary syndrome(ACS). Because disruption of atherosclerotic coronary plaques is a trigger of ACS, the high-risk atheroma is called a vulnerable plaque. Several types of novel diagnostic imaging technologies have been developed for identifying the characteristics of coronary atherosclerosis before the onset of ACS, especially vulnerable plaques. According to coronary angioscopic evaluation, atherosclerosis severity and plaque vulnerability were more advanced in prediabetic than in nondiabetic patients and comparable to that in diabetic patients. In addition, pharmacological intervention by statin therapy changed plaque color and complexity, and the dynamic changes in plaque features are considered plaque stabilization. In this article, we review the findings of atherosclerosis in prediabetes, detected by intravascular imaging modalities, and the therapeutic implications.

Chronic inflammation of the native vessel wall with infiltration of lipid-laden foamy macrophages through impaired endothelium results in atherosclerosis. Percutaneous coronary intervention, including metallic stent implantation, is now widely utilized for the treatment of atherosclerotic lesions of the coronary artery. Baremetal stents and the subsequently developed drugeluting stents seal the atherosclerosis and resolve lumen stenosis or obstruction of the epicardial coronary artery and myocardial ischemia. After stent implantation, neointima proliferates within the stented segment. Chronic inflammation caused by a foreign body reaction to the implanted stent and subsequent neovascularization, which is characterized by the continuous recruitment of macrophages into the vessel, result in the transformation of the usual neointima into an atheromatous neointima. Neointima with an atherosclerotic appearance, such as that caused by thin-cap fibroatheromas, is now recognized as neoatherosclerosis, which can sometimes cause in-stent restenosis and acute thrombotic occlusion originating from the stent segment following disruption of the atheroma. Neoatherosclerosis is emerging as a new coronary stent-associated problem that has not yet been resolved. In this review article, we will discuss possible mechanisms, clinical challenges, and the future outlook of neoatherosclerosis.

Experimental Research of External Desulfurization in Situ Mechanical Stirring

This paper presents a new idea about desulfurization with in-situ mechanical stirring method on the basis of desulfurization by single blow grain magnesium and KR method, that is, the inner gases carry the magnesium vapor formed in-site in molten iron by magnesium-based desulfurization, and bubble dispersed and disintegrated under the condition of mechanical stirring, thence to improve the efficiency of desulfurization by single blow grain magnesium .It has been proved by research of cold water model experiment that the bubble dispersion and disintegration can not only improve the desulphurization efficiency but also increase the utilization rate of magnesium. Obviously, the bubble dispersion and disintegration of magnesium vapor is the key problem in improving the desulphurization efficiency and increasing the utilization rate of magnesium. Thus the research focus on exploring the performance of bubble dispersion and disintegration on the base of refining process and gas-liquid mass transfer. According to the literature and cold water model experimental result basing on principle of similitude, the influencing factors and interaction of bubble dispersion and disintegration have been studied from the perspectives of physical and numerical simulation. The study would provide the theoretical and experimental data for the new method of desulfurization with in-situ mechanical stirring.

Study on Absorption Rate by Eccentric Mechanical Stirring in Gas Injection Refining for Iron and Steel Making

In gas injection refining processes, a great amount of gas is injected into molten metal in short time, so that very large bubbles are inevitably formed. Wide dispersion of small bubbles in the bath is indispensable for high refining efficiency. Eccentric mechanical stirring with unidirectional impeller rotation was tested using a water model for pursuing better bubble disintegration and dispersion. Absorption rate are used to research on the influence law of the bubble dispersion and disintegration and gas-liquid absorption by the influence of, rotation mode, rotation speed and gas flow rate. Compared to the experimental results of absorption rate under eccentric stirring and centric stirring ,provide the scientific experimental and theoretical guidance for high-temperature experiment of hot metal desulfurization .According to experimental and theoretical analysis, this paper has studied various factors effecting on gas absorption process and volumetric mass transfer coefficient using the system of *** results show that:the volumetric mass transfer coefficient and absorption efficiency of CO2 can be increased under eccentric stirring mode, Because bubble disperse quickly with eccentric mechanical stirring, which results in promoting complete reaction between CO2 and NaOH, and improving the mass transfer coefficient and absorption. Volumetric mass transfer coefficient and efficiency of CO2 increase with the increasing rotation speed under the condition of eccentric stirring .But volumetric mass transfer coefficient and efficiency of CO2 decrease with the increasing rotation speed under the condition of centric stirring.

Water model experiments were carried out to investigate the bubble behavior in cylindrical and square vessels under centric mechanical *** bubble behavior in the square vessel was investigated in detail by using a high-speed camera to record the transient images of the *** image analysis software was used to obtain the bubble *** results showed that the centric mechanical stirring in the square vessel was suitable for breakage and dispersion of bubbles,but not suitable for that in the cylindrical *** the impeller blade length and impeller rotation speed was beneficial to disintegrate and disperse bubbles *** bubble diameter decreased with the increase in the Weber number and increased slightly with the increase in the modified Froude *** dimensionless correlation equation of bubble diameter was obtained by the dimensional analysis method.

The prefrontal cortex(PFC)is thought to be involved in higher order cognitive functions,such as in working memory,abstract categorization,and reward *** has been reported that two distinct neuron classes(putative pyramidal cells and interneurons)in the PFC played different functional roles in neural circuits involved in forming working memory and abstract ***,it remains elusive how the two types of neurons process reward information in the *** investigate this issue,the activity of single neurons was extracellularly recorded in the PFC of the monkey performing a reward predicting *** neurons were classified into putative pyramidal cells and interneurons,respectively,based on the waveforms of action *** the two types of neurons encoded reward information and discriminated two reward conditions(the preferred reward condition *** nonpreferred reward condition).However,the putative pyramidal neurons had better and more reliable discriminability than the putative ***,the pyramidal cells represented reward information in the preferred reward condition,but not in the nonpreferred reward condition by raising their firing rates relative to the baseline *** contrast,the interneurons encoded reward information in the nonpreferred reward condition,but not in the preferred reward condition by inhibiting their discharge rates relative to the baseline *** results suggested that the putative pyramidal cells and interneurons had complementary functions in reward *** findings may help to clarify individual functions of each type of neurons in PFC neuronal circuits involved in reward processing.

We report a very rare case of successful intracardiac correction in a patient with heterotaxy *** cardiac malformations included dextrocardia,double outlet right ventricle,pulmonary stenosis,interrupted inferior vena cava,hemiazygos continuation and total anomalous pulmonary venous ***-stage correction was *** atrial procedure consisted of intra-and extraatrial rerouting of the anomalous systemic and pulmonary venous *** hepatic veins were detached and diverted to the left atrium via an extracardiac *** correction of the double outlet right ventricle was accomplished by intraventricular redirection of the blood flow from the left ventricle to the *** right ventricular outflow was ultimately remodeled using a valved *** better perception of the complex morphology,a three-dimensional model was designed,using CT scan *** proved to be very useful for surgical planning,especially with regard to the intraatrial reconstruction of the systemic and pulmonary venous rerouting.
