Organic radicals are widely used as linkers or ligands to synthesize molecular magnetic ***,studies regarding the molecular anisotropies of radical-based magnetic materials and their multifunctionalities are ***,a photoisomerizable diarylethene ligand was used to form{[CoⅢ(3,5-DTSQ·-)(3,5-DTCat2-)]2(6F-DAE-py2)}·3CH3CN·H2O(o-1·3CH3CN·H2O,6F-DAE-py2=1,2-bis(2-methyl-5-(4-pyridyl)-3-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene),a valence-tautomeric(VT) coordination *** directly observed dual radicals for a single crystal using high-field/-frequency(～13.3 T and～360 GHz) electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR) spectroscopy along the c-axis,which was further confirmed by angle-dependent Q-band EPR ***,a conductive anomaly close to the VT transition temperature was observed only when probes were attached at the ab plane of the single crystal,indicative of synergy between valence tautomerism and *** anisotropy studies and density functional theory(DFT) calculations revealed that this synergy is due to electron transfer associated with valence *** study presents the first example of dual-radical-based molecular anisotropy and charge-transfer-induced conductive anisotropy in a photoswitchable coordination polymer.

Computational based cryptography might not guarantee long term security if computational algorithms, computers, and so on are made remarkable progress. Therefore, quantum cryptography with unconditionally security attracts attention. In this paper, we consider security of a two-way quantum key distribution protocol, so called Ping-Pong protocol. As a result, we introduce not only robustness but also a different information disturbance theorem, which denotes a trade-off relationship between information gain for an eavesdropper and error rate, from the related works for an attack model.

A Feasibility Study of an Individualized Voiding Program in Japan to Improve the Sense of Control in Older People with Functional Urinary Incontinence

Purpose: This study intended to assess the feasibility of an individualized voiding program in Japan aimed at improving the sense of micturition control in older people with functional urinary incontinence. Method: Following the interview guide, FGIs were conducted in two groups (4 - 6 participants) consisting of nurses and care workers with more than 5 years of experience as practitioners of urination care. Data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. Results: We determined that the program purpose is to “enable caregivers to work as a well-coordinated team to humanely facilitate excretion independence in older people, which is essential for living with dignity”, as this confirmed the importance of maintaining the sense of micturition control in older people for their well-being. In the program outline, we extracted the following five categories: 1) setting selection criteria for recipients considering the status of micturition induction, 2) careful collection of information and assessment of lower urinary tract symptoms in older people in case of environmental changes, 3) examination of methods used for assessing lower urinary tract symptoms according to the facility environment, 4) confirmation of the recipient’s micturition habits and request for assistance, and 5) conducting necessary examination for setting the intervention period and evaluation period according to the target condition. The feedback on the program guide was summarized in the statement—specific successful cases help frame and implement the micturition induction plan. Conclusion: We confirmed the feasibility of the micturition induction plan for improving the sense of control in older people with functional urinary incontinence. Since April 2004, the Asahi University Medical and Dental Center (hereinafter referred to as our center) has been providing oral appliances (hereinafter referred to as OA) to treat patients diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. The effects of using the OA and progress of 71 patients who received treatment at our center by wearing OA from March 2005 to the end of March 2016 were examined through questionnaires sent by physical mail. In 21 of 24 patients who underwent polysomnography after wearing OA, the apnea-hypopnea index (hereinafter referred to as AHI) significantly decreased after wearing OA (9.44 ± 10.37) compared to that before wearing OA (24.02 ± 13.57) (p = 8.7 × 10-8). The results showed that for patients who continuously use OA, it is necessary to have sound sleep/sleep soundly;further, the patients experienced a decrease in snoring when wearing OA, with only a few side effects on the temporomandibular joints and teeth. In addition, the closer the distance from the plane of the lower margin of the mandible to the hyoid bone after wearing OA, the more likely it was for the AHI to decrease, which suggests that wearing OA contributes to the prediction of therapeutic effects.

＜正＞ Excitatory amino acids （EAAs） mediate nociceptive inputs to the spinal cord. Recently. G - protein coupled metabotropic glutamate receptors （mGluRs） are important modulators of synaptic transmission in the mammalian CNS and have been implicated in various forms of neuroplasticity and nervous system disorders. We determined the effect of intrathecal （i. t.） injection of NMDA and mGluRs antagonists in the rats with thermal hyperalgesia. Thermal hyperalgesia was introduced by chronic constraction of the left sciatic nerve （CCI） with chromic gut -suture in rat. I.t. injection of Group I mGluR antagonist CPCCOEt （1, 5mM） and MPEP （10, 30mM） increased the withdrawal latency （ analgesia） both CCI and Sham - operated rats. I.t. injection of Group II mGluR antagonist EGLU （3, 10mM） and Group III mGluR antagonist CPPG （10, 30mM） did not show significant effect. On the other hand,NMDA R - antagonists MK - 801 （0.5,5mM） and AP - 5 （0.1,1mM）,and AMPA - Kinate R - antagonist NBQX （0.1,1mM） increased the withdrawal latency These results suggest that spinal NMDA and Group I mGluR antagonists have a role of thermal nociceptive processing,but other mGluRs Groups have not.

Clinical importance of colonoscopy in patients with gastric neoplasm undergoing endoscopic submucosal dissection

＜正＞ Although the participant cells and mediators are different, bronchial asthma （BA） and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease （COPD） are both characterized by chronic airway inflammation. Oxidative/nitrosative stress play an important role in the pathophysiology in both diseases. In BA. the production of nitric oxide （NO） is increased probably via the upregulation of inducible NO synthase. It has been reported that the level of exhaled NO is correlated with the severity of airflow limitation, airway hyperresponsiveness or eosinophils infiltration. The antiinflammatoryagent, corticosteroid. which is a key drug for BA. can reduce the NO production as well as airway inflammation and hyperresponsiveness. On the contrary, in COPD airways, the formation of 3 - nitrotyrosine rather than NO is much more increased than bronchial *** have found that the several agentsincluding theophylline. corticosteroid and allopurinol can inhibit the oxidative/nitrosativestress. These agents improve the airway inflammation and may prevent the progression of COPD. In this symposium, the importance of oxidative/nitrosative in the airway inflammation and its pharmacotherapeutic modification will be reviewed.

To evaluate the usefulness of total colonoscopy (TCS) for patients undergoing gastric endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) and to assess risk factors for colorectal *** the 263 patients who underwent ESD at our department between May 2010 and December 2013, 172 patients undergoing TCS during a one-year period before and after ESD were targeted. After excluding patients with a history of surgery or endoscopic therapy for colorectal neoplasms, 158 patients were analyzed. Of the 868 asymptomatic patients who underwent TCS during the same period because of positive fecal immunochemical test (FIT) results, 158 patients with no history of either surgery or endoscopic therapy for colorectal neoplasms who were matched for age and sex served as the control group for *** revealed adenoma less than 10 mm in 53 patients (33.6%), advanced adenoma in 17 (10.8%), early colorectal cancer in 5 (3.2%), and advanced colorectal cancer in 4 (2.5%). When the presence or absence of adenoma less than 10 mm, advanced adenoma, and colorectal cancer and the number of adenomas were compared between patients undergoing ESD and FIT-positive patients, there were no statistically significant differences in any of the parameters assessed. The patients undergoing ESD appeared to have the same risk of colorectal neoplasms as the FIT-positive patients. Colorectal neoplasms were clearly more common in men than in women (P = 0.031). Advanced adenoma and cancer were significantly more frequent in patients with at least two of the following conditions: hypertension, dyslipidemia, and diabetes mellitus (P = 0.019).CONCLUSIONIn patients undergoing gastric ESD, TCS appears to be important for detecting synchronous double neoplasms. Advanced adenoma and cancer were more common in patients with at least two of the following conditions: hypertension, dyslipidemia, and diabetes mellitus. Caution is therefore especially warranted in patients with these risk factors.

Formal verification using interactive theorem provers have been noticed as a method of verification of proofs that are too big for humans to check the validity of them. The purpose of this work is to verify the validity of Robertson-type uncertainty relation toward verifying unconditional security of quantum key distributions. We verify the validity of the relation by using proof assistant Coq and it is turned out that the theorem regarding the relation formally holds. The source code for Coq which represents the validity of the theorem is printed in Appendix.
