Eight new furan derivatives,irpexins A‒H(1‒8),two new polyketides,irpexins I and J(9 and 10),together with nine known compounds were isolated from the fermentation of Irpex *** structures and absolute configurations were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic methods and Mosher ester *** compounds shows no cytotoxicity to human MCF-7 and Hela cancer cell lines at the concentration of 10μM.

Beauvericin was analyzed in three forms of the Lepidoptra pathogenic fungus Isaria tenuipes(4 isolates):(a)natural specimen,(b)cultivated synnemata on rice media,and(c)mycelia from fermentation in liquid *** was detected in very low amounts in all tested natural *** on rice contained much higher concentrations of beauvericin than the corresponding natural materials,although the concentrations were lower than mycelia from liquid *** results casted a caution that beauvericin concentration should be carefully checked,as a possible toxic constituent,upon mass production of a selected strain of Isaria tenuipes for health food purposes.

The purpose of this research is a quantitative analysis of movement patterns of dance, which cannot be analyzed with a motion capture system alone, using simultaneous measurement of body motion and biophysical information. In this research, two kinds of same leg movement are captured by simultaneous measurement; one is a leg movement with given strength, the other is a leg movement without strength on condition of basic experiment using optical motion capture and electromyography （EMG） equipment in order to quantitatively analyze characteristics of leg movement. Also, we measured the motion of the traditional Japanese dance using the constructed system. We can visualize leg movement of Japanese dance by displaying a 3D CG character animation with motion data and EMG data. In addition, we expect that our research will help dancers and researchers on dance through giving new information on dance movement which cannot be analyzed with only motion capture.

直流微电网具有易于建造、维护的特点,能够避免电能的长距离传输所带来的损耗问题,可以有效解决农村无电地区的稳定和可靠供电问题。通过在农村无电地区建造直流微电网,可以有效解决照明、社会服务、生产等多方面的社会和经济问题。本文所研究的孤岛式直流微电网由光伏发电、电池储能和DC/AC逆变器等部分组成,利用DC/AC逆变器讲光伏所产生的直流电能转换为适合交流负载使用的交流电源。为了避免光伏阵列由于太阳辐照度波动和温度变化而产生的发电功率损失问题,在光伏电源和直流母线之间采用DC-DC升压转换器进行发电功率控制。为了维持光伏系统在最大功率点的运行、提高发电效率,在供电不足的情况下文中采用增量电导算法进行了最大功率点跟踪(MPPT);当发电量大于负载用电量且储能电池充满时,光伏系统采取了限发电功率的运行模式。在考虑不同气候条件和负荷波动的情况下进行了仿真验证,仿真结果验证了所提出方法的有效性。为了实现在不同气候条件和负载条件下直流微电网的可靠和稳定运行,文中采用电池组进行能量存储。电池储能系统的充放电弥补了光伏发电功率与负载功率需求之间的差异。储能电池组采用了双向buck-boost变换器连接到微电网的直流母线,采用了电压外环电流内环的双闭环PI调节器来稳定直流微电网的母线电压,通过在不同条件下进行仿真验证,说明了本文所提方法的有效性。由于大量的用户电器采用交流供电的方式,直流微网通过DC/AC逆变器将产生直流电能转换为交流电以满足负荷供电需求。DC/AC逆变器采用全桥逆变拓扑,利用单极性调制进行开关管的控制。逆变器利用交流电容电压外环、电感电流内环的双环控制进行闭环控制,通过仿真验证了所给出方法的有效性。为了避免光伏发电与储能系统所提供的功率不能满足负载功率要求时,可能导致直流微电网过负荷不能稳定运行,文中利用各支路带传感器的开关对各条支路的负荷进行检测和控制,在发电不能满足用电需求时采用了切负载的方式实现微电网的功率平衡。对不同负载进行了仿真,验证了所提方法的有效性。

We report a case of 71-year-old man who developed a hypersensitivity syndrome associated with terbinafine. He was placed on terbinafine (250 mg/d) for the treatment of tinea pedis due to diabetes mellitus. Following the treatment with terbinafine, he developed druginduced hypersensitivity syndrome (DIHS). Systemic corticosteroid led to transient improvement of his clinical manifestations. Three months after disease onset, he presented with panperitonitis due to ileal perforation, and underwent an emergency operation. The affected ileum was resected and ileostomy was performed in the terminal ileum. Cytomegalovirus (CMV)-specific IgG antibodies were significantly increased, high-titer CMV antigenemia was detected, and pathological examination of the resected ileum confirmed CMV infection. Based onthese observations, we strongly recommend that physicians monitor reactivation of the family of herpesvirus other than herpesvirus 6, to manage DIHS properly.

To evaluate the clinical efficacy of a procedure comprising a combination of Percoll continuous density gradient and modified swim-up techniques for the removal of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 （HIV-1） from the semen of HIV-1 infected males, a total of 129 couples with an HIV-1 positive male partner and an HIV-1 negative female partner （serodiscordant couples） who were treated at Keio University Hospital between January 2002 and April 2012 were examined. A total of 183 ejaculates from 129 HIV-1 infected males were processed. After swim-up, we successfully collected motile sperms at a recovery rate as high as 100.0% in cases of normozoospermia （126/126 ejaculates）, oligozoospermia （6/6）, and asthenozoospermia （36/36）. The recovery rate of oligoasthenozoospermia was 86.7% （13/15）. In processed semen only four ejaculates （4/181：2.2%） showed viral nucleotide sequences consistent with those in the blood of the infected males. After using these sperms, no horizontal infections of the female patients and no vertical infections of the newborns were observed. Furthermore, no obvious adverse effects were observed in the offspring. This protocol allowed us to collect HIV-1 negative motile sperms at a high rate, even in male factor cases. We concluded that our protocol is clinically effective both for decreasing HIV-1 infections and for yielding a healthy child.

Background: Streptococcus pyogenes secretes NAD+ glycohydrolase (NADase, also known as SPN or Nga). All S. pyogenes strains examined to date possess the gene that encodes SPN (spn), but some strains produce SPN that lacks detectable NADase activity. Although there is much evidence to support that SPN’s NADase activity contributes to virulence, there is very little evidence that NADase-inactive SPN has detectable functions. Results: In order to characterize the NADase-inactive SPN, we firstly attempted to clone the NADase-inactive spn allele in Escherichia coli. Although we obtained recombinants which were shown to have the correct size insert, all had some mutations in the spn allele. Therefore, we attempted to change the mutated nucleotides back to the original nucleotides. While a nucleotide mutagenesis (inverse PCR method) easily changed a target nucleotide of control genes back to the original nucleotides, the mutations of NADase-inactive spn allele were never successfully converted back to the original nucleotides. Finally the mutant spn alleles were sub-cloned into another vector (pLZ12-Km2), which is maintained in both E. coli and S. pyogenes. The resultant plasmids were subjected to nucleotide mutagenesis using inverse PCR;the resultant mutagenized plasmid DNAs were used to transform both E. coli and S. pyogenes strains. We observed successful nucleotide substitutions back to the original spn nucleotide sequence in S. pyogenes transformants, but not in E. coli transformants. Thus, the NADase-inactive spn allele was successfully cloned in S. pyogenes, but not in E. coli. However, we could not find an association with NADase-inactive spn allele and virulence in a mouse infection model. Conclusions: These results suggest that NADase-inactive spn allele has some toxic effect to E. coli, but not S. pyogenes. This effect may due to an as of yet unknown function attributable to NADase-inactive SPN.

Transmission power lines are a common source of extremely low frequency(ELF) magnetic fields which are usually analyzed as serial lines in one *** vertical-type double-circuit power lines,which are generally used in Japan,sometimes carry different current for each circuit and change *** this paper,we focused on both the angle of direction change and the current balance in order to clarify the characteristics of distribution of magnetic fields at a height of 1 *** magnetic field distributions were analyzed considering both the angle of power lines changing direction and the current balance of each *** total magnetic field under overhead vertical-type double-circuit power lines with same current was generally reduced in comparison with that under a single-circuit power line due to phase *** total magnetic fields around the turning point where the change of transmission lines direction increased because each circuit came closer in that *** component of B_z effect on total magnetic field was greatest around the maximum of total magnetic fields nearby the turning point.
