In this work, a quantum-chemical investigation on the structural and opto-electronic properties of oligo（thiophene-phenylene）（4TP） is carried out. The results are discussed in comparison with the properties of corresponding oligothiophene （8T） and oligophenylene （8P）. As the opto-electronic properties of this type of conducting polymers are governed by their electronic band gap, we shall also present a comparison among HOMO, LUMO and band gap energies of these three materials.

Background: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is associated with increased morbidity and incident of colon cancer;however its etiology is still unclear. Currently, one of the most probable pathogenesis patterns is increased permeability of bowel membrane and it seems that oxidative stress plays an important role in this pathway. This study was done to assess the pro-oxidant antioxidant balance (PAB) in these patients. Materials: This was a cross sectional study of 2 groups including 50 patients with diagnosed IBD and 50 healthy controls. Patients were selected purposively from those referring to adult gastroenterology clinic in 2013. SPSS (ver11.5) has been. A P value < 0.05 was regarded as statistically significant. Results: Mean PAB in patients and controls group was 119.98 ± 38.98 HK unite and 52.67 ± 22.80 HK unite, respectively, (P value < 0.001). PAB mean in ulcerative colitis patients was 120.60 ± 33.90 HK unite and in CD patients was 118.20 ± 45.99 HK unite, and showed no significant difference (P value = 0.85). PAB and MDA could detect healthy subjects from IBD patients with sensitivity more that 90% and specificity more than 84%. Conclusion: PAB shifted to pro-oxidants in IBD patients;moreover this shift was unrelated to disease type. These tests could use as screening test.

The Analysis of Scientific and Commercial Softwares Accuracy in GPS Observation Processing

The engineers use various softwares for observation processing and GPS networks, generally everyone who uses a device, he uses softwares with the same brand for the processing of it GPS processing networks by defined default parameters and models. The most outstanding issue is that, it should be understood, the application of which kinds of softwares will help us to gain the desirable accuracy and whether the accuracy of coordinate estimation is acceptable in all commercial softwares or not. In this article, we compared a series of softwares which engineers use for their data processing with powerful scientific software that meanwhile it is too hard and time consuming to learn it. We have considered accuracy and validity of scientific software, which gives acceptable results, as a baseline to see how much errors and difference is between this software and the commercial softwares, so we selected Bernese as a scientific software and LGO, Ashtech Solutions, CGO softwares as commercial softwares and we analyzed them and compared the applied models of the softwares with each other. To do so, we choose a GPS network from Tehran city and discussed it, in order to evaluate the measured accuracy for baselines and also coordinate system that after data processing, it was understood that if the polygon of a network is small, commercial softwares can be utilized with very high acceptable accuracies and even by Ephemerides Precise data, their accuracy will increase more, but if our network is more extended and bigger, there is no other choice except using scientific softwares to calculate coordinate that performs a processing by many parameters.

Effects of ultrasonic waves on carbon dioxide solubility in brine at different pressures and temperatures

The adverse impacts of CO2 emission on the global warming highlight the importance of carbon capture and storage technology and geological storage of CO2 under solubility trapping mechanisms. Enhancing the solubility of CO2 in formation water has always been the focus of research in the area of CO2 sequestration. Ultrasound techniques are one of the environmentally friendly methods that use high-intensity acoustic waves to improve gas solubility in liquids. Ultrasonic waves can alter the properties of different phases that lead to chemical reactions and provide a means to increase the solubility of CO2 in connate water. In this study, we investigated the effects of ultrasound on the solubility of CO2 in connate water under different conditions of pressure, temperature, and salinity. The results showed that the solubility of CO2 was improved with increasing pressure under ultrasonic ***, the solubility of CO2 was inversely proportional to the increase in brine salinity and temperature. Therefore,it was concluded that the solubility of CO2 might be enhanced in the presence of ultrasound.

Objective: To extract and identify the main constituents of the essential oil of Cotula cinerea(Del.)(Asteraceae family) from southwest of ***: The essential oils obtained by hydrodistillation, from the aerial parts of the endemic plant Cotula cinerea which was collected in the region of Sahara from southwest of Algeria, were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass ***: A total of 33 compounds were identified representing 98.66% of the oil. The main compounds were(E)-citral(24.01%), limonene epoxide cis-(18.26%), thymol methyl ether(15.04%), carvacrol(15.03%), trans-carveol(13.79%), carvone(3.06%) and trans-piperitol(2.54%).Conclusions: The main constituents in essential oil of the aerial part of the plant from southwest of Algeria were different from that collected from southeast of Algeria or in Morocco.

目的:建立双山颗粒的质量标准。方法:参照《中华人民共和国药典》2020年版四部通则相关方法,建立鉴别双山颗粒中山药、山萸肉、肉苁蓉3味饮片的薄层色谱(TLC)法;建立高效液相色谱(HPLC)法分析双山颗粒中莫诺苷和松果菊苷的含量。结果:TLC法能有效鉴别方中3味饮片;定量分析方法中,莫诺苷、松果菊苷质量浓度分别在17.49~291.56μg·mL^(-1)、16.46~274.28μg·mL^(-1)范围内线性关系良好,平均加样回收率分别为92.66%(RSD为0.81%)、104.26%(RSD为0.74%)。结论:建立的质量标准简便准确、专属性强,可用于双山颗粒的质量控制。

Use of Observed Genomic Information to Infer Linkage Disequilibrium between Markers and QTLs

Conducting genomic selection in admixed populations is challenging and its accuracy in this case largely depends on the persistence of linkage disequilibrium between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) and quantitative trait loci (QTL). Inferring linkage disequilibrium (LD) between SNP markers and QTLs could be important in understanding the change of SNP marker effects across different breeds. Predicting the change in linkage disequilibrium between markers and QTLs across two divergent breeds was explored using information from the genotype data. Two different models (M1, M2) that differ in the definition of the explanatory variables were used to infer the level of LD between SNP markers and QTLs using all markers in the panel or windows of fixed number of markers. Three simulation scenarios were conducted using different number of SNPs and QTLs. In the first scenario, the resulting coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.65 and 0.52 using M1 and M2, respectively. In the second scenario, average R2 equaled 0.12 using all markers in the panel and 0.25 using 100 marker windows. Across the three simulation scenarios, it was clear that a significant portion of the variation in the change in LD between SNP markers and QTLs could be explained by information already available in the observed SNP marker data.
