To investigate the relation of luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and Testosterone serum levels with partial deletions in the AZFc region in Iranian oligozoospermia males. Material and methods: thirty infertile oligozoospermia and 52 Iranian fertile men included. The hormonal assays were measured by the Radioimmunoassay (RIA). Multiplex polymerase chain reaction (M-PCR) using eight sequence-tagged site (STS) markers were measured on the Yq11 chromosome. Results: The mean of FSH and LH levels in all oligozoospermia males were higher than fertile men (p < 0.001) and testosterone was lower significantly (p < 0.001). Five patients showed partial deletions in AZFc region (four had gr/gr and one had b2/b3 deletions). Six fertile men showed partial deletions (five gr/gr and one b2/b3) with higher level of FSH, LH in their group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: According to high incidence of partial deletions in the AZFc region among Iranian oligozoospermia males, hormonal assay and molecular screening should be advised before considering for ART treatments.

This study aimed to evaluate the correlation between nursing informatics(NI)competency and information literacy skills for evidencebased practice(EBP)among intensive care *** cross-sectional study was conducted on 184 nurses working in intensive care units(ICUs).The study data were collected through demographic information,Nursing Informatics Competency Assessment Tool(NICAT),and information literacy skills for EBP *** intensive care nurses received competent and low-moderate levels for the total scores of NI competency and information literacy skills,*** received a moderate score for the use of different information resources but a low score for information searching skills,different search features,and knowledge about search operators,and only 31.5%of the nurses selected the most appropriate *** competency and related subscales had a significant direct bidirectional correlation with information literacy skills for EBP and its subscales(P<0.05).Nurses require a high level of NI competency and information literacy for EBP to obtain up-to-date information and provide better care and *** planners and policymakers should develop interventions to enhance NI competency and information literacy skills among nurses and motivate them to use EBP in clinical settings.

Arithmetic Logic Unit(ALU) as one of the main parts of any computing hardware plays an important role in digital computers. In quantum computers which can be realized by reversible logics and circuits, reversible ALUs should be designed. In this paper, we proposed three different designs for reversible 1-bit ALUs using our proposed 3×3 and 4×4 reversible gates called MEB3 and MEB4(Moallem Ehsanpour Bolhasani) gates, respectively. The first proposed reversible ALU consists of six logical operations. The second proposed ALU consists of eight operations, two arithmetic, and six logical operations. And finally, the third proposed ALU consists of sixteen operations, four arithmetic operations, and twelve logical operations. Our proposed ALUs can be used to construct efficient quantum computers in nanotechnology, because the proposed designs are better than the existing designs in terms of quantum cost, constant input, reversible gates used, hardware complexity, and functions generated.

Due to soaring fuel prices and environmental concerns, hybrid electric vehicle(HEV) technology attracts more attentions in last decade. Energy management system, configuration of HEV and traffic conditions are the main factors which affect HEV's fuel consumption, emission and performance. Therefore, optimal management of the energy components is a key element for the success of a HEV. An optimal energy management system is developed for HEV based on genetic algorithm. Then, different powertrain system component combinations effects are investigated in various driving cycles. HEV simulation results are compared for default rule-based, fuzzy and GA-fuzzy controllers by using ADVISOR. The results indicate the effectiveness of proposed optimal controller over real world driving cycles. Also, an optimal powertrain configuration to improve fuel consumption and emission efficiency is proposed for each driving condition. Finally, the effects of batteries in initial state of charge and hybridization factor are investigated on HEV performance to evaluate fuel consumption and emissions. Fuel consumption average reduction of about 14% is obtained for optimal configuration data in contrast to default configuration. Also results indicate that proposed controller has reduced emission of about 10% in various traffic conditions.

Nanocrystalline particles of barium ferrite magnetic material have been prepared by co-precipitation route using aqueous and non-aqueous solutions of iron and barium chlorides with a Fe/Ba molar ratio of 11 and subsequent drying-annealing treatment. Water and ethanol/water mixture with volume ratio of 3：1 were used as solvents in the process. Coprecipitated powders were annealed at various temperatures for 1 h. FTIR （Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy）, XRD （X-ray diffraction）, DTA/TGA （differential thermal analy- sis/thermogravimetric analysis） and SEM （scanning electron microscopy） techniques were used to evaluate powder particle characteristics. DTA/TGA results confirmed by those obtained from XRD indicated that the formation of barium ferrite occurs in sample synthesized in ethanol/water solution at a relatively low temper- ature of 631℃. Nano-size particles of barium ferrite with mean particle size of almost 75 and 100 nm were observed in the SEM micrographs of the samples synthesized in ethanol/water solution after annealing at 700 and 800℃ for 1 h, respectively.

A one-pot synthesis of some unsymmetrical 2,5-disubstituted-1,3,4-oxadiazoles via cyclocondensation of benzoylhydrazines with orthoesters under solvent-free and microwave conditions are described here. The reaction is efficiently catalyzed by silica- supported sulfuric acid as it provided the title compounds in high yields and relatively short times. The catalyst is reusable and can be applied several times without considerable decrease in the yields and rates of the reactions.

This study proposes a graphical user interface(GUI) based on an enhanced bacterial foraging optimization(EBFO) to find the optimal locations and sizing parameters of multi-type DFACTS in large-scale distribution *** proposed GUI based toolbox,allows the user to choose between single and multiple DFACTS allocations,followed by the type and number of them to be *** EBFO is then applied to obtain optimal locations and ratings of the single and multiple *** is found to be faster and provides more accurate results compared to the usual PSO and *** obtained with MATLAB/Simulink simulations are compared with PSO,BFO and enhanced *** reveals that enhanced BFO shows quick convergence to reach the desired solution there by yielding superior solution *** results concluded that the EBFO based multiple DFACTS allocation using DSSSC,APC and DSTATCOM is preferable to reduce power losses,improve load balancing and enhance voltage deviation index to 70%,38% and 132% respectively and also it can improve loading factor without additional power loss.
