This qualitative literature review aimed to describe the totality of peer-reviewed scientific evidence from 1990 to 2017 concerning validity of self-reported *** review included articles about mammography containing the words accuracy,validity,specificity,sensitivity,reliability or reproducibility;titles containing self-report,recall or patient reports,and breast or‘mammo’;and references of identified citations focusing on evaluation of 2-year *** 45 publications meeting the eligibility criteria,2 conducted in 1993 and 1995 at health maintenance organisations in Western USA which primarily served highly educated whites provided support for self-reports of mammography over 2 *** concerns about validity of self-reports included(1)telescoping,(2)biased overestimates particularly among black women,(3)failure to distinguish screening and diagnostic mammography,and(4)failure to address episodic versus consistent mammography *** current totality of evidence supports the need for research to reconsider the validity of self-reported mammography data as well as the feasibility of alternative surveillance data sources to achieve the goals of the healthy People Initiative.

We used reported behavioural data from cisgender men who have sex with men and transgender women(MSM/TGW)in Bangalore,mainly collected from‘hot-spot’locations that attract MSM/TGW,to illustrate a technique to deal with potential issues with the representativeness of this sample.A deterministic dynamic model of hIV transmission was developed,incorporating three subgroups of MSM/TGW,grouped according to their reported predominant sexual role(insertive,receptive or versatile).Using mathematical modelling and data triangulation for‘balancing’numbers of partners and role preferences,we compared three different approaches to determine if our technique could be useful for inferring characteristics of a more‘hidden’insertive MSM subpopulation,and explored their potential importance for the hIV *** for 2009 across all three approaches suggest that hIV prevalence among insertive MSM was likely to be less than half that recorded in the surveys(4.5e6.5%versus 13.1%),but that the relative size of this subgroup was over four times larger(61e69%of all MSM/TGW versus 15%).We infer that the insertive MSM accounted for 10e20%of all prevalent hIV infections among urban males aged *** modelling can be used with data on‘visible’MSM/TGW to provide insights into the characteristics of‘hidden’MSM.A greater understanding of the sexual behaviour of all MSM/TGW is important for effective hIV *** broadly,a hidden subgroup with a lower infectious disease prevalence than more visible subgroups,has the potential to contain more infections,if the hidden subgroup is considerably larger in size.

Aim:To develop a comprehensive item library of patient-reported,immunotherapy-related adverse events(irAEs)that draws from and expands on the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy(FACIT)Measurement ***:Literature review and iterative expert *** on a literature review of irAEs,we developed a framework of immunotherapy classes and their associated *** experts then reviewed iterations of symptom summaries and item maps linked to the immunotherapy *** provided content review and feedback was shared across experts until consensus was *** iterative process facilitated creation of a Primary Symptom List associated with immune checkpoint modulators(ICMs),drawn from the larger set of *** FACIT items were mapped to the symptom list,and new items were written as needed to create the item ***:The full item library of irAEs is comprised of 239 items,covering 142 unique symptoms across 75 inflammatory reactions/immune conditions.A subset of 66 items comprises a Primary Symptom List considered most common/relevant to ICM *** includes gastrointestinal,skin,pulmonary,neurologic,musculoskeletal,and multiple miscellaneous and constitutional ***:The FACIT Immunotherapy Item Library is a compilation of 239 self-report items that capture the wide range of AEs experienced by people receiving immune treatments.A subset of 66 items comprises a Primary Symptom List meant for ICM *** of items selected from this library is encouraged in clinical research and clinical practice evaluation.

Importance:While laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy(LPD)is being adopted with increasing enthusiasm worldwide,it is still challenging for both technical and anatomical ***,there is no consensus on the technical standards for ***:The aim of this consensus statement is to guide the continued safe progression and adoption of *** Review:An international panel of experts was selected based on their clinical and scientific expertise in laparoscopic and open *** were produced upon reviewing the literature and assessed by the members of the expert *** literature search and its critical appraisal were limited to articles published in English during the period from 1994 to *** Web of Science,Medline,and Cochrane Library and Clinical Trials databases were searched,The search strategy included,but was not limited to,the terms'laparoscopic','pancreaticoduodenectomy,'pancreatoduodenectomy','Whipple's operation',and'minimally invasive surgery'.Reference lists from the included articles were manually checked for any additional studies,which were included when *** method was used to establish expert consensus and the AGREE II-GRS Instrument was applied to assess the methodological quality and externally validate the final *** statements were further discussed during a one-day face-to-face meeting at the 1st Summit on Minimally Invasive Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery in Wuhan,***:Twenty-eight international experts from 8 countries constructed the expert *** statements were produced by the members of the expert *** least 80%of responders agreed with the majority(80%)of *** than three randomized controlled trials published to date,most evidences were based on level 3 or 4 studies according to the AGREE II-GRS *** and Relevance:The Wuhan international expert consensus meeting on LPD has produced a set of clinical practice statement
