The current global financial and economic crisis is giving new life to initiatives that promote closer economic integration among East Asian countries. A significant example is the ASEAN- China Free Trade Area （.4 CFTA）, which is set to come into effect around 2010..4CFTA aims to boost trade between two economies that are partners as well as competitors： ASEAN and China. In the present paper, we use insights from customs union theory in a qualitative analysis considering whether,4CFTA would benefit both sides. We also apply a computable general equilibrium model to perform a quantitative analysis of the same issue. both our qualitative and quantitative analyses provide grounds for guarded optimism regarding A CFTA ＇s prospects as a vehicle for strengthening the economic partnership between ASEAN and China.

bACKGROUND Recently, the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease suggested no preference between tenofovir(TDF) and entecavir(ETV) regarding potential long-term risks of renal complications. Over the years, renal safety has become a critical concern in nucleos(t)ide analog-treated patients due to the long-term use of these drugs. However, existing studies do not show significant differences in renal dysfunction between these two drugs. Further, there is a paucity of studies comparing the long-term renal effects of TDF and *** To investigate the effects of TDF and ETV on renal function, we performed systematic review and *** Two investigators independently searched the Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, and Embase databases for randomized controlled trials and nonrandomized studies(NRSs) using the keywords 'CHb', 'Tenofovir', and 'Entecavir', and additional references were obtained from the bibliographies of relevant articles published through December 2017. The quality of each study was assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa scale and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment,Development and Evaluation criteria. The primary outcome was the change in serum creatinine level in the TDF and ETV groups at baseline, 6 mo, 12 mo and24 *** NRSs comprising 2263 participants met the inclusion criteria. changes in creatinine levels were higher in the TDF group than in the ETV group at 6 mo[mean difference(MD) = 0.03 mg/dL;95%CI: 0.02-0.04;I2 = 0%], 12 mo(MD =0.05 mg/dL;95%CI: 0.02-0.08;I2 = 78%), and 24 mo(MD = 0.07 mg/dL;95%CI:0.01-0.13;I2 = 93%). The change in estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR) was significantly higher in the TDF group than in the ETV group at 6 mo[standardized mean difference(SMD),-0.22;95%Cl:-0.36--0.08;I2 = 0%], 12 mo(SMD =-0.24;95%Cl:-0.43--0.05;I2 = 50%), and 24 mo(-0.35;95%Cl:-0.61--0.09;I2= 67%).CONCLUSION TDF statistically significantly increased serum creatinine levels and decreased the eGFR in 6-24 mo compa

The effects of Ce addition on the microstructure, age hardening response and mechanical properties of an indirect-extruded Mg-5wt.%Sn-4Zn (TZ54) alloy were investigated. Addition of Ce accelerated the aging response with the peak aging time moving from 300 h in TZ54 to 30 h in Mg-5wt.%Sn-4Zn-1Ce (TZE541), while the peak harness was similar to each other. The Ni, Fe, Co and Cu single and multilayer nanowire arrays to make perpendicular magnetic recording media were fabricated with nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templates from Watt solution and additives by the DC electrodeposition. The results show that the diameters of Ni, Fe, Co and Cu single and multilayer nanowires in AAO templates are 40-80 nm and the lengths are about 30 μm with the aspect ratio of 350-750. The magnetic properties of the prepared nanowires are different under different electrodepositing conditions. The remanences (br) of Ni/Cu/Fe multilayer nanowires are lower than those of others multilayer nanowires, and coercivity (Hc) of Ni/Cu/Fe multilayer nanowires are lower than those of others multilayer nanowires. These are compatible with the required conditions of high density magnetic media devices that should have the low coercivity to easily success magnetization and high remanence to keep magnetization after removal of magnetic field.

background Sixty-five percent of children worldwide lack access to surgical care,the majority of whom live in low-income and middle-income countries(LMiCs).Developing surgical infrastructure requires information on surgical need;however,this information is often limited in *** Korea(Democratic People's Republic of Korea,DPRK)has a low amount of publicly available ***,we analyzed available modeled data to understand the causes of pediatric deaths due to conditions treatable with surgery in *** We used World bank data and models from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation to identify causes of pediatric deaths affecting pediatric patients(agebetween DPRK and countries with similar economic *** between 1990 and 2019,the number of overall pediatric deaths has *** 2019,32.2%of allpediatric deaths in DPRK were caused by surgical *** leading categories of surgical conditions were injuries(53.9%),congenital conditions(34.2%),tumors(8.8%),and abdominal conditions(3.2%).DPRK has a lower relative rate of pediatric deaths compared with other LMICs with similar gross domestic product per ***,it has a higher relative rate of pediatric deaths due to conditions requiring treatment with *** injuries contribute significantly to the high rate of pediatric deaths in *** Although DPRK may be allocating overall resources toward pediatric healthcare more efficiently than economic peers,DPRK may benefit from improvement in pediatric surgical *** availability of data and close international collaboration could be potential solutions to bridge this gap.

A pot experiment was conducted in a plastic film house to evaluate the translocation and uptake of heavy metals(Pb,Cd,Cu,and Zn) into brown rice(Oryza sativa L.) and the heavy metals residues in soils which had previously been irrigated with domestic wastewater for a long time(3 years).The range of Pb,Cd,Cu,and Zn was 5.10 ± 0.01,0.105 ± 0.017,5.76 ± 0.42,and 23.56 ± 1.40 mg kg-1,respectively in the domestic wastewater-irrigated soil,and 0.370 ± 0.006,0.011 ± 0.001,0.340 ± 0.04,and 2.05 ± 0.18 mg kg-1,respectively,in the domestic wastewater-irrigated brown *** results indicated that application of domestic wastewater to arable land slightly increased the levels of Pb,Cd,Cu,and Zn in soil and brown rice(P brown rice were lower than the recommended tolerable levels proposed by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food ***,the continuous monitoring and pollution control of hazardous materials from domestic wastewater are needed in order to prevent excessive build-up of heavy metals in the food chain.

The photonic characteristics of chromophore-containing metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have led to extensive photophysical studies in an effort to capitalize on the potency of precisely controlled chromophore *** examples have laid the foundation that demonstrates how photophysical properties of chromophores can be manipulated by tuning their communications(interactions)through integration within a MOF *** main focus of this review is on harnessing the versatile MOF platform to accentuate the photophysical properties of integrated *** particular,this review will highlight chromophore dynamics that enhance,alter,or tune the photoluminescence response of single-and multi-chromophore-containing scaffolds,as well as alignment-guided anisotropic *** upon this groundwork,utilization of a hybrid crystalline motif can induce preferential orientation of chromophores resulting in enhanced communication and tailored behavior compared to randomly oriented emissive ***,frameworks that produce upconverted emission via sensitized triplet-triplet annihilation(sTTA),excited-state absorption(ESA),energy transfer upconversion(ETU),multi-photon absorption(MPA),or second-harmonic generation(SHG)can invoke dynamic control of material properties using photochromic linkers and will be discussed herein with a focus on the effects of chromophore *** within a framework is a vehicle tofuse chromophores into solid-state platforms,opening an avenue for chromophore utilization in applications such as portable electronics that require solids or thin *** those reasons,the design of chromophore-containing MOFs with desirable properties that rely on the alignment and communication of hundreds of chromophores within a single platform is a pressing demand for the development of futuristic technologies.
