The Olenekian-Anisian Boundary(OAB)interval is an important time in Earth history,reflecting the last phase of marine ecosystem recovery in the aftermath of the end-Permian mass *** this,the Global Stratotype Section and Point(GSSP)for the base of the Anisian remains *** first appearance of the conodont Chiosella timorensis has been proposed as a potential index for the boundary;however,the discovery of this conodont with ammonoids traditionally considered to be Spathian has generated doubts about its *** taxonomy and relationships of early Anisian conodonts,including species of Chiosella,remain understudied,which leads to difficulties in *** species of Neogondolella(***)and Magnigondolella(***.D)have been recognized from the leading GSSP candidate section for the OAB at De?li Caira,and from an additional OAB section at ***,several species previously identified in Canada and the USA can be recognized from these sections,improving correlation between Tethys and North *** of these species may serve as a suitable alternative proxy for the OAB;for instance,*** appears just below the first Anisian ammonoids in De?li Caira,and just above the first appearance of *** in both De?li Caira and *** work on sections other than the candidate sections,and on the taxonomy of species outside of those traditionally proposed as indices,is required.

Esophageal adenocarcinoma is a major cause of cancer death in men in the developed *** poor outcomes with conventional therapies that predominantly target apoptosis pathways have lead to increasing interest in treatments that target the cell cycle.A large international effort has led to the development of a large number of inhibitors,which target cell cycle kinases,including cyclin-dependent kinases,Aurora kinases and polo-like *** phase Ⅰ/Ⅱ trials in solid tumors have often demonstrated only modest clinical benefits of *** may relate in part to a failure to identify the patient populations that will gain the most clinical *** compounds lacking the side effect profile of first-generation compounds may show utility as adjunctive treatments targeted to an individual's predicted response to treatment.

With the super-wide band magnetoteiluric sounding data of the JUong （吉隆）-Cuoqin （措勤） profile （named line 800） which was completed in 2001 and the Dingri （定日）-Cuomai （措迈） profile （named line 900） which was completed in 2004, we obtained the strike direction of each MT station by strike analysis, then traced profiles that were perpendicular to the main strike direction, and finally obtained the resistivity model of each profile by nonlinear conjugate gradients （NLCG） inversion. With these two models, we described the resistivity structure features of the crust and the upper mantle of the center-southern Tibetan plateau and its relationship with Yalung Tsangpo suture： the upper crust of the research area is a resistive layer with resistivity value range of 200-3 000 Ω.m. The depth of its bottom surface is about 15-20 km generally, but the bottom surface of resistive layer is deeper in the middle of these two profiles. At llne 900, it is about 30 km deep, and even at line 800, it is about 38 km deep. There is a gradient belt of resistivity at the depth of 15-45 km, and a conductive layer is beneath it with resistivity even less than 5 Ω.m. This conductive layer is composed of individual conductive bodies, and at the south of the Yalung Tsangpo suture, the conductive bodies are smaller with thickness about 10 km and lean to the north slightly. However, at the north of the Yalung Tsangpo suture, the conductive bodies are larger with thickness about 30 km and also lean to the north slightly. Relatively, the conductive bodies of line 900 are thinner than those of line 800, and the depth of the bottom surface of line 900 is also shallower. At last, after analyzing the effect factors to the resistivity of rocks, it was concluded that the very conductive layer was caused by partial melt or connective water in rocks. It suggests that the middle and lower crust of the center-southern Tibetan plateau is very thick, hot, flabby, and waxy.

Using a detailed, fully coupled chemistry climate model （CCM）, the effect of increasing stratospheric H20 on ozone and temperature is investigated. Different CCM time-slice runs have been performed to investigate the chemical and radiative impacts of an assumed 2 ppmv increase in H20. The chemical effects of this H20 increase lead to an overall decrease of the total column ozone （TCO） by ～1% in the tropics and by a maximum of 12% at southern high latitudes. At northern high latitudes, the TCO is increased by only up to 5% due to stronger transport in the Arctic. A 2-ppmv H2O increase in the model＇s radiation scheme causes a cooling of the tropical stratosphere of no more than 2 K, but a cooling of more than 4 K at high latitudes. Consequently, the TCO is increased by about 2%-6%. Increasing stratospheric H2O, therefore, cools the stratosphere both directly and indirectly, except in the polar regions where the temperature responds differently due to feedbacks between ozone and H2O changes. The combined chemical and radiative effects of increasing H2O may give rise to more cooling in the tropics and middle latitudes but less cooling in the polar stratosphere. The combined effects of H2O increases on ozone tend to offset each other, except in the Arctic stratosphere where both the radiative and chemical impacts give rise to increased ozone. The chemical and radiative effects of increasing H2O cause dynamical responses in the stratosphere with an evident hemispheric asymmetry. In terms of ozone recovery, increasing the stratospheric H2O is likely to accelerate the recovery in the northern high latitudes and delay it in the southern high latitudes. The modeled ozone recovery is more significant between 2000 ～2050 than between 2050～2100, driven mainly by the larger relative change in chlorine in the earlier period.

Systemic inflammation is a feature of chronic obstructive pulmo- nary disease （COPD）. Defects in T cell-mediated anti-inflamma- tory pathways such as cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen-4 （CTLA- 4） may promote damaging inflammation. This study provides novel data implicating the impaired induction of an anti-inflam- matory molecule, CTLA-4 in the elevated inflammation observed in COPD patients. Low induction of CTLA-4 in COPD patients paralleled increased markers of systemic inflammation ex vivo and increased T-cell responses to a bacterial superantigen, staphylo- coccal enterotoxin-B （SEB） in vitro. This mechanism may explain the increased inflammation in COPD patients.

We have used a fully coupled chemistry-climate model(WACCM)to investigate the relative importance of the direct and indirect effects of 11a solar variations on stratospheric temperature and *** the model does not contain a quasi-biennial oscillation(QBO)and uses fixed sea surface temperature(SST),it is able to produce a second maximum solar response in tropical lower stratospheric(TLS)temperature and ozone of approximately 0.5 K and 3%,*** the TLS,the solar spectral variations in the chemistry scheme play a more important role than solar spectral variations in the radiation scheme in generating temperature and ozone *** chemistry effect of solar variations causes significant changes in the Brewer-Dobson(BD)circulation resulting in ozone anomalies in the *** model simulations also show a negative feedback in the upper stratosphere between the temperature and ozone responses.A wavelet analysis of the modeled ozone and temperature time series reveals that the maximum solar responses in ozone and temperature caused by both chemical and radiative effects occur at different altitudes in the upper *** analysis also confirms that both the direct radiative and indirect ozone feedback effects are important in generating a solar response in the upper stratospheric temperatures,although the solar spectral variations in the chemistry scheme give the largest solar cycle power in the upper stratospheric temperature.
