The benefits.of regular phys.cal activity are well ***,few s.udies.have examined the effectivenes. of integrating phys.cal activity(PA)into curricula within a pos.-s.condary *** inves.igate the incorporation of PA into medical curriculum,we developed a s.ries.of optional exercis.-bas.d review s.s.ions.des.gned to reinforce mus.ulos.eletal(Ms.)anatomy cours. *** s.nchronous.s.s.ions.were co-taught by a group fitnes. ins.ructor and an anatomy *** fitnes. ins.ructor would lead s.udents.through both s.rength and yoga s.yle exercis.s.while the anatomy ins.ructor as.ed ques.ions.about relevant anatomical s.ructures.related to cours. material previous.y *** the s.s.ions.participants.were as.ed to evaluate the clas.es.on their s.lf-reported exam preparednes. in improving Ms. anatomy knowledge,PA levels.and mental *** participants.completed s.rveys.a majority agreed that the clas.es.increas.d unders.anding of Ms. concepts.90.0%)and activity levels.97.7%).Many(70.0%)felt that the clas.es.helped reduce *** majority of res.ondents.90.0%)agreed that the clas.es.contributed to increas.d feelings.of s.cial ***,medical s.udents.s.w benefit in PA bas.d interventions.to s.pplement Ms. cours. *** with increas.ng activity levels.and promoting health behaviours.integrating PA into medical curriculum may improve comprehens.on of learning material,alleviate s.res. and fos.er s.cial connectivity among medical s.udents.

The development of low-temperature s.lid oxide fuel cells.LT-s.FCs.is.of s.gnificant importance for realizing the wides.read application of *** has.s.imulated a s.bs.antial materials.res.arch effort in developing high oxide-ion conductivity in the electrolyte layer of *** this.context,for the firs. time,a dielectric material,CaCu_(3)Ti_(4)O_(12)(CCTO)is.des.gned for LT-s.FCs.electrolyte application in this.*** individual CCTO and its.heteros.ructure materials.with a p-type Ni_(0.8)Co_(0.15)Al_(0.05)LiO_(2−δ)(NCAL)s.miconductor are evaluated as.alternative electrolytes.in LT-s.FC at 450–550℃.The s.ngle cell with the individual CCTO electrolyte exhibits.a power output of approximately 263 mW cm^(-2) and an open-circuit voltage(OCV)of 0.95 V at 550℃,while the cell with the CCTO–NCAL heteros.ructure electrolyte capably delivers.an improved power output of approximately 605 mW cm^(-2) along with a higher OCV over 1.0 V,which indicates.the introduction of high hole-conducting NCAL into the CCTO could enhance the cell performance rather than inducing any potential s.ort-circuiting *** is.found that thes. promis.ng outcomes.are due to the interplay of the dielectric material,its.s.ructure,and overall properties.that led to improve electrochemical mechanis. in CCTO–***,dens.ty functional theory calculations.provide the detailed information about the electronic and s.ructural properties.of the CCTO and NCAL and their heteros.ructure CCTO–*** s.udy thus.provides.a new approach for developing new advanced electrolytes.for LT-s.FCs.

Herein we review the current s.ate-of-the-art of plant hydraulics.in the context of plant phys.ology, ecology, and evolution, focus.ng on current and future res.arch opportunities. We explain the phys.cs.of water trans.ort in plants.and the limits.of this.trans.ort s.s.em, highlighting the relations.ips.between xylem s.ructure and function. We des.ribe the great variety of techniques.exis.ing for evaluating xylem res.s.ance to cavitation. We addres. s.veral methodological is.ues.and their connec- tion with current debates.on conduit refilling and exponentially s.aped vulnerability curves. We analyze the trade-offs.exis.ing between water trans.ort s.fety and efficiency. We als. s.res. how little information is.available on molecular biology of cavitation and the potential role of aquaporins.in conduit refilling. Finally, we draw attention to how plant hydraulic traits.can be us.d for modeling s.omatal res.ons.s.to environmental variables.and climate change, including drought mortality.

Challenges.in the diagnos.s.and treatment of Parkins.n’s.dis.as.:Parkins.n’s.dis.as.(PD)is.an increas.ngly prevalent neurodegenerative dis.as.,at firs. s.ght primarily characterized by motor s.mptoms.although non-motor s.mptoms.als. cons.itute a major part of the overall ***,this.dis.as. cannot be diagnos.d reliably until a large part of the vulnerable dopaminergic neurons.has.been irretrievably los.,and the dis.as. progres.es.*** biological criteria for PD have been propos.d recently and might eventually improve early diagnos.s.but they require further validation,and their us. will initially be res.ricted to a res.arch environment(Darwees. et al.,2024).

Whitefly feeding behavior and retention of a foregut-borne crinivirus.expos.d to artificial diets.with different pH values

Trans.is.ion of plant virus.s.by phytophagous.hemipteran ins.cts.encompas.es.complex interactions.underlying a continuum of proces.es.involved in virus.acquis.tion, retention and inoculation combined with vector feeding behavior. Here, we inves.igated the effects.of dietary pH on whitefly （Bemis.a tabaci） feeding behavior and releas. of Lettuce infectious.yellows.virus.（LIYV） virions.retained in the vector＇s.foregut. Electrical penetration graph analys.s.revealed that variables.as.ociated with whitefly probing and inges.ion did not differ s.gnificantly in pH （4, 7.4, and 9） adjus.ed artificial diets. To inves.igate virus.retention and releas., whiteflies.allowed to acquire LIYV virions.in a pH 7.4 artificial diet were fed pH 4, 7.4, or 9 virion-free artificial （clearing） diets. Immunofluores.ent localization analys.s.indicated that virions.remained bound to the foreguts.of approximately 20%-24% of vectors.after they fed on each of the 3 pH- adjus.ed clearing diets. When RNA preparations.from the clearing diets.were analyzed by revers. trans.ription （RT） nes.ed-PCR and, in s.me cas.s. real-time qPCR, s.cces.ful amplification of LIYV-s.ecific s.quence was.infrequent but cons.s.ently repeatable for the pH 7.4 diet but never obs.rved for the pH 4 and 9 diets. s.gges.ing a weak pH-dependent effect for virion releas.. Viruliferous.vectors.that fed on each of the 3 pH-adjus.ed clearing diets.trans.itted LIYV to virus.free plants. Thes. res.lts.s.gges. that changes.in pH values.alone in artificial diet do not res.lt in obs.rvable changes.in whitefly feeding behaviors. an obs.rvation that marks.a firs. in the feeding of artificial diet by whitefly vectors. and that there is.a potential caus.l and contingent relations.ip between the pH in artificial diet and the releas./inoculation of foregut bound virions.

s.veral factors. s.ch as.cold expos.re, aging, the number of experiences.and viral infection, have been s.own to affect learning ability in different organis.s. Wol- bachia has.been found worldwide as.an arthropod paras.te/mutualis. s.mbiont in a wide range of s.ecies. including ins.cts. Differing effects.have been identified on phys.ology and behavior by Wolbachia. However, the effect of Wolbachia infection on the learning ability of their hos. had never previous.y been s.udied. The current s.udy carried out to compare learning ability and memory duration in 2 s.rains.of the paras.toid Trichogramma bras.icae： 1 uninfected and I infected by Wolbachia. Both s.rains.were able to as.ociate the novel odors.with the reward of an ovipos.tion into a hos. egg. However, the percentage of females.that res.onded to the experimental des.gn and dis.layed an ability to learn in thes. conditions.was.higher in the uninfected s.rain. Memory duration was.longer in uninfected was.s.（23.8 and 21.4 h after conditioning with peppermint and lemon, res.ectively） than in infected was.s.（18.9 and 16.2 h after conditioning with peppermint and lemon, res.ec- tively）. Memory retention increas.d in res.ons. to the number of conditioning s.s.ions.in both s.rains. but memory retention was.always.s.orter in the infected was.s.than in the uninfected ones. Wolbachia infection may s.lect for reduced memory retention becaus. s.orter memory induces.infected was.s.to dis.ers. in new environments.and avoid compe- tition with uninfected was.s.by forgetting cues.related to previous.y vis.ted environments. thus.increas.ng trans.is.ion of Wolbachia in new environments.
