The Zhaojue(ZJ)tracksites represent multiple steeply-inclined,track-bearing exposures in the clastic Feitianshan Formation of Sichuan Province that have been sequentially,excavated,mapped,expanded and destroyed,by quarrying,erosion or collapse,for almost three *** quarried area extends for more almost 1.0 km from north to south and-0.5 km from east to *** important track-bearing surfaces have been identified and identified as ZJ-Ⅰ,ZJ-Ⅱ,ZJ-ⅡN and ZJ-Ⅲ,some of which are newly exposed surfaces or expanded surfaces that were previously partially *** represent surfaces lost since they were first reported in papers published in *** ZJ-Ⅱ site represents a hugely expanded continuation of a much smaller track-bearing surface described in *** was mapped using drone technology,and now represents the largest tracksite in China,with a minimum count of 933 recognizable tracks,and the longest recorded sauropod and ornithopod trackways from China(-80 m and-52 m respectively),which also reveal a pronounced change in the direction of trackmaker *** ZJ-Ⅱ surface represents the best Zhaojue paleo-census sample giving a count of 68 individuals from 61 trackways(37 ornithopod,10 theropod,14 sauropod)and isolated tracks(representing 7 individuals).Thus,ornithopods(both large and small trackmakers)represent-54%of the total number of *** smaller ZJ-Ⅲ surface was mapped using traditional methods,and reveals at least 6 ornithopod-and 4 theropod *** the ZJ-Ⅱ and ZJ-Ⅲ surfaces reveal parallel ornithopod trackways suggestive of social or gregarious *** combined data from all four Zhaojue surfaces reveal a total of 1928 tracks,and include a few previously reported pterosaurs and theropod swim *** Zhaojue quarry complex provide a good example of multiple track-bearing sites(surfaces)that require long term study and monitoring to extract as much trackway data as possible before in situ physical evidence is lost.

A new Middle Jurassic tracksite dominated by non-avian theropod footprints from the Wangjiashan Formation in Pingchuan District,Baojishan Basin,gansu Province has yielded a unique trackway with four consecutive manus-pes *** three previous examples,all Early Jurassic in age,of theropod trackways are known with convincing examples of manus tracks and in each case,only two tracks were recorded in association with pes tracks with metatarsal impressions and pelvic traces indicating crouching ***,this is the first example of manus tracks registered while a theropod trackmaker was *** unique configuration is here designated as grallator pingchuanensis *** shows the trackmaker forelimbs registering in a wide straddle gait,much wider than the pes trackway *** confirms previous reports that theropods could occasionally register tridactyl,ectaxonic manus *** the case of the Pingchuan trackway,the short step indicates an animal moving at a slow speed,probably due to a soft substrate.

CT diagnosis of recurrence after pancreatic cancer:Is there a pattern?

AIM:To investigate predilection sites of recurrence of pancreatic cancer by computed tomography(CT)in follow-up after surgery. METHODS:Seventy seven patients with recurrence after pancreatic cancer surgery were retrospectively *** operative technique,R-status,T-stage and development of tumor markers were evaluated. Two radiologists analyzed CT scans with consensus *** of local recurrence,lymph node recurrence and organ metastases were *** and progression of findings on follow-up CT were con-sidered as reference standard. RESULTS:The mean follow-up interval was 3.9± 1.8 mo,with a mean relapse-free interval of 12.9± 10.4 *** predominant site of recurrence was local (65%),followed by lymph node(17%),liver metastasis (11%)and peritoneal carcinosis(7%).Local recurrence emerged at the superior mesenteric artery(n=28),the hepatic artery(n=8),in an area defined by the surrounding vessels:celiac trunk,portal vein,inferior vena cava(n=22),and in a space limited by the mesenteric artery,portal vein and inferior vena cava(n=17). Lymph node recurrence occurred in the mesenteric root and left lateral to the *** was confirmed by surgery(n=22)and follow-up CT(n=55).Tumor markers[carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)]increased in accordance with signs of recurrence in most cases(86%CA19-9;79.2% CEA). CONCLUSION:Specific changes of local and lymph node recurrence can be found in the course of the cardinal peripancreatic *** superior mesenteric artery is the leading structure for recurrence.

One of the main constraints for reducing the temporal duration of attosecond pulses is the attochirp inherent to the process of high-order harmonic generation(HHg).Though the attochirp can be compensated in the extreme-ultraviolet using dispersive materials,this is unfeasible toward x-rays,where the shortest attosecond or even sub-attosecond pulses could be *** theoretically demonstrate that HHg driven by a circularly polarized infrared pulse while assisted by an strong oscillating ultrafast intense magnetic field enables the generation of few-cycle Fourier-limited few attosecond *** such a novel scenario,the magnetic field transversally confines the ionized electron during the HHg process,analogously to a nanowire *** the electron is ionized,the transverse electron dynamics is excited by the magnetic field,acting as a high-energy reservoir to be released in the form of phase-locked spectrally wide high-frequency harmonic radiation during the electron recollision with the parent *** addition,the transverse breathing dynamics of the electron wavepacket,introduced by the magnetic trapping,strongly modulates the recollision efficiency of the electronic trajectories,thus the attosecond pulse *** aftermath is the possibility of producing high-frequency(hundreds of eV)attosecond isolated few-cycle pulses,almost Fourier *** isolated intense magnetic fields considered in our simulations,of tens of kT,can be produced in finite spatial volumes considering structured beams or stationary configurations of counter-propagating state-of-the-art multi-terawatt/petawatt lasers.

Objective Despite a large number of bird fossils in the Jehol Biota, Mesozoic bird records from other parts of China are dominated by tracks. Late Cretaceous bird tracks are rarely found in China. Reliable reports so far include a Dongyangornipes and Koreanaornis assemblage of early Late Cretaceous age from Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province, China （Azuma et al., 2013）. Buckley et al. （2016） consider Dongyangornipes sinensis a subjective junior synonym of Uhangrichnus chuni. Type Uhangrichnus chuni （Yang et al. 1995; Lockley et al., 2012） from the Uhangri Formation, Hwangsan Basin of South Korea is Late Cretaceous in age, and the trackrnaker was a web-footed avian.

Newton＇s gravitational constant g is the least known fundamental constant of nature. Since Cavendish made the first measurement of g with a torsion balance over two hundred years ago, the best results of g have been obtained by using torsion balances. However, the uncorrected anelasticity of torsion fibers makes the results questionable. We present a new method of g measurement by using a superconducting gravity gradiometer constructed with levitated test masses, which is free from the irregularities of mechanical suspension. The superconducting gravity gradiometer is rotated to generate a centrifugal acceleration that nulls the gravity field of the source mass, forming an artificial planetary system. This experiment has a potential accuracy of g better than 10 ppm.

There is a growing awareness among industry players of reaping the benefits of mobile-cloud convergence by extending today's unmodified cloud to a decentralized two-level cloud-cloudlet architecture based on emerging mobile-edge computing(MEC) capabilities. In light of future 5g mobile networks moving toward decentralization based on cloudlets, intelligent base stations, and MEC, the inherent distributed processing and storage capabilities of radio-and-fiber(R&F) networks may be exploited for new applications, e.g., cognitive assistance, augmented reality, or cloud robotics. In this paper, we first revisit fiber-wireless(Fi Wi) networks in the context of conventional clouds and emerging cloudlets, thereby highlighting the limitations of conventional radio-overfiber(Ro F) networks such as China Mobile's centralized cloud radio access network(C-RAN) to meet the aforementioned trends. Furthermore, we pay close attention to the specific design challenges of data center networks and revisit our switchless arrayedwaveguide grating(AWg) based network with efficient support of east-west flows and enhanced scalability.
