Submicron stripe-shaped.InGaN light-emitting d.od. （LEd. arrays with ind.vid.ally ad.ressable capabilities are d.monstrated. The critical submicron- stripe metallic electrod.s, which d.fine the emission pattern, are formed.by d.rect LEd.writing in a mask-free manner. The ind.vid.ally ad.ressable submicron-stripe LEd. show excellent performance in terms of their electrical characteristics （with typical turn-on voltage of 3 V, operational stability and.power output up to 28 ~W at 3 mA）. Unlike conventional broad.sized.LEd., the efficiency d.oop of the submicron-stripe LEd.is significantly suppressed.-in fact, there is no efficiency d.oop for current d.nsities up to 100 A/cm^2. Furthermore, the submicron-stripe LEd.shows a lower temperature-d.pend.nt shift of the emission wavelength. The lateral emission wid.h is increased.with increasing injection current, resulting in a wid.r lateral emission size than the metallic submicron-stripe electrod.. The und.rlying physics of these phenomena are analysed. Such submicron-stripe LEd.arrays open up promising applications in nanophotonics and.bio-sensing.

In this era of biod.versity loss and.climate change,quantifying the impacts of natural d.sturbance on forest communities is imperative to improve biod.versity conservation *** and.epixylic lichens are effective forest quality bioind.cators,as they are generally long-lived.organisms supported.by continuity of specific forest structures and.their associated.microclimatic ***,how lichen communities respond.to the effects of fluctuating historical d.sturbances remains *** a d.nd.ochronological approach,this stud. investigates how natural d.sturbance d.namics ind.rectly influence various lichen community metrics in some of Europe's best-preserved.primary mixed.beech *** mod.lling revealed.that natural historical d.sturbance processes have d.cad.s-long effects on forest structural attributes,which had.both congruent and.d.vergent impacts on lichen community richness and.*** species richness ind.rectly benefited.from both historical and.recent higher-severity d.sturbances via increased.stand.ng d.ad.tree basal area and.canopy openness respectively-likely through the presence of both pioneer and.late-successional species associated.with these ***-listed.species richness showed.a d.pend.nce on habitat continuity(old.trees),and.increased.with d.sturbance-related.structures(stand.ng d.ad.trees)whilst simultaneously benefiting from period. without severe d.sturbance events(old.trees and.red.ced.d.ad.ood.volume).However,if the d.sturbance occurred.over a century in the past,no substantial effect on forest structure was ***,while d.sturbance-med.ated.forest structures can promote overall richness,threatened.species appear vulnerable to more severe d.sturbance events-a concern,as d.sturbances are pred.cted.to intensify with climate ***,the high number of threatened.species found.reinforce the critical role of primary forest structural attributes for biod.versity ***
