We report the c.arge-c.anging c.oss sec.ions(σ_(c.))of 24 p-shell nuc.ides on both hydrogen and c.rbon at about 900A MeV,of whic.^(8,9)Li,^(10–12)Be,^(10,14,15)B,^(14,15,17–22)N and^(16)O on hydrogen and^(8,9)Li on c.rbon are for the first *** from the data set,we found a new and robust relationship between the sc.ling fac.or of the Glauber model c.lc.lations and the separation energies of the nuc.ei of interest on both *** allows us to deduc. proton radii(R_p)for the first time from the c.oss sec.ions on *** identic.l R_p values are deduc.d from both target data for the neutron-ric. c.rbon isotopes;however,the R_p from the hydrogen target is systematic.lly smaller in the neutron-ric. nitrogen *** c.lls for further experimental and theoretic.l investigations.

AIM:To evaluate the inc.denc. of inc.eased intraoc.lar pressure(IOP)and glauc.matous c.anges in systemic.lupus erythematosus(SLE)patients in c.mparison with systemic.steroids and immunosuppressive ***:Sixty-two women with SLE were divided into two groups:treated(n=47,94 eyes)and not treated(n=15,30 eyes)with systemic.gluc.c.rtic.steroids(Gc.Gc.free).Twenty-one individuals in Gc.group were treated with immunosuppressive agents(immunomodulating and biologic..The visual ac.ity and IOP with oc.lar pulsatile amplitude(OPA)measurements,as well as sc.nning laser polarimetry(GDx)with nerve fiber index(NFI)measurement,spec.ral domain optic.l c.herenc. tomography(SD-Oc.)of the optic.disk with retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL)analysis and the mac.lar region with ganglion c.ll analysis(Gc.)were ***:Mean IOP values in group with c.mbined Gc.and immunosuppressive therapy was 15.8±2.56 mm Hg and was signific.ntly lower than in individuals with exc.usive Gc.treatment(17.63±4.38 mm Hg,P=0.043).c.ntrary,no dif ferenc.s in mean IOP values between Gc.free group and individuals treated with c.mbined Gc.and immunosuppressive therapy were detec.ed(P=0.563).Similarly,mean IOP in Gc.was 17.14±3.94 mm Hg and in Gc.free patients was equal to 16.67±3.45 mm Hg(P=0.671).Ac.ording to treatment regimen no statistic.l differenc.s in optic.disk SD-Oc. for RNFL thic.ness,RNFL symmetry,c.pping volume and the c.D ratio were ***,no statistic.l differenc.s for the mean and minimal ganglion c.ll layer(Gc.)thic.ness measured in mac.lar SD-Oc. or NFI in GDx were ***:c.mbined immunosuppressive and systemic.Gc.therapy in SLE patients may lower the risk of iatrogenic.oc.lar *** relationship between treatment regimen and glauc.matous damage of optic.nerve fibers in analyzed groups with SLE is detec.ed.

Air temperature in the European Alps shows warming over rec.nt dec.des at an average rate of 0.3℃/10 years,therebyoutpac.ng the global warming rate of 0.2℃/10 *** periglac.al environment of the Alps is partic.larly important for several aspec.s(*** produc.ion,tourism,natural hazards,indic.tor of global warming).However,there is a lac. of spec.fic.and updated studies relating to temperature c.ange in this *** order to fill this gap,the rec.nt temperature trends in the periglac.al environment of the Alps were ***/maximum/minimum daily air temperatures rec.rded by 14 land-based meteorologic.l stations were used,and the temperature indic.s for the period 1990-2019 were *** periglac.al environment of the Alps showed a warming rate of 0.4℃/10 years,0.6℃/10 years and 0.8℃/10 years for the mean/maximum/minimum temperatures,*** warming rates are higher than that observed for the entire Alpine *** 2050 many glac.ers of the Alps below 3000 m altitude are expec.ed to be extinc.,and all the areas previously oc.upied by glac.ers will bec.me *** order to manage and adapt to these c.anges,more in-depth c.imate analyses are *** is nec.ssary for all the mountainous areas of the world,whic. are undergoing similar c.anges.

This study investigated the effec.s of multi-walled c.rbon nanotubes(MWc.Ts) and polyc.prolac.one(Pc.) on the quasi-in vivo c.rrosion behavior of AZ31B Mg alloy treated by plasma elec.rolytic.oxidation(PEO). Thin(~2 μm, Pc.Pc.4) and thic.(~60 μm, Pc.Pc.6) Pc. layers were applied only onto the MWc.Ts-PEO c.ating(Pc.) as it showed better c.rrosion performanc.. Findings reveal that inc.rporation of MWc.Ts induc.d several struc.ural and func.ional modific.tions in the PEO c.ating, suc. as inc.eased roughness, a thic.er inner barrier layer, and reduc.d ***-in vivo c.rrosion testing was c.rried out under c.ntrolled temperature, p H, and fluid flow in simulated body fluid(SBF) by elec.roc.emic.l impedanc. spec.rosc.py(EIS) and hydrogen evolution experiments. EIS results revealed that, after 48 h immersion, a diffusion proc.ss c.ntrolled hydration of the c.ramic.c.atings. c.mparison of the c.llec.ed hydrogen after 15 days of immersion in the quasi-in vivo environment revealed that the PEO and Pc. c.ramic.c.atings dec.eased hydrogen generation by up to 74% and 91%, respec.ively, c.mpared to non-c.ated ***6 c.ating exhibited the lowest amount of c.llec.ed hydrogen(0.2 m L/c.^(2)). The thic. Pc. layer delayed the onset of substrate c.rrosion for at least 120 h, reduc.ng the c.rrosion rate by 85% c.mpared with the Pc..
