The human gut is colonized by a community of microbiota,primarily bacteria,that exist in a symbiotic relationship with the *** microbiota-host interactions play a critical role in the regulation of human *** changes to the composition of gut microbiota,referred to as gut dysbiosis,has been linked to the development and progression of numerous diseases,including cardiovascular disease(CVD).Imbalances in host-microbial interaction impair homeostatic mechanisms that regulate health and can activate multiple pathways leading to CVD risk factor *** CVD risk factors,including aging,obesity,dietary patterns,and a sedentary lifestyle,have been shown to induce gut *** is associated with intestinal inflammation and reduced integrity of the gut barrier,which in turn increases circulating levels of bacterial structural components and microbial metabolites,including trimethylamine-N-oxide and short-chain fatty acids,that may facilitate the development of *** article reviews the normal function and composition of the gut microbiome,mechanisms leading to the leaky gut syndrome,its mechanistic link to CVD and potential novel therapeutic approaches aimed towards restoring gut microbiome and CVD *** CVD is the leading cause of deaths globally,investigating the gut microbiota as a locus of intervention presents a novel and clinically relevant avenue for future research.

教科书反映一个社会几十年甚至几百年的传统。对于历史教科书的分析萌芽于20世纪,目的在于缓和国际冲突与积怨。学者们在近几年进行了一些项目来比较东亚的历史教科书。本研究分析五个国家(克罗地亚、法国、俄罗斯、西班牙和美国)历史教科书中中国历史的展示情况,使用了定性研究和定量研究两种方法。尽管笔者在研究过程中遇到许多方法论上的困难,但我还是得出了一定的结论。我发现各国教科书中中国历史部分的呈现差异很大,基本上是由课程决定的。我大致勾勒出各国历史教科书重视的时期,话题,人物等,同时也呈现了那些被忽略的内容,并且对一些争议的话题进行了分析。本研究的结果为教科书编撰者提供一些有价值的指导原则,同时也有助于理解西方国家是如何看到中国的。

The Usage of the Digital Controller in Regulating Boost Converter

This paper proposes the modeling and simulation technique to analyze and design a Boost converter using generalized minimum variance method with discrete-time quasi-sliding mode to adjust the converter switch through a pulse width modulation (pWM), so as to enhance a stable output voltage. The control objective is to maintain the sensed output voltage stable, constant and equal to some constant reference voltage (8 volt) in the load resistance variation (24, 48, 240) Ω and input voltage variation (20, 24, 28) volt circumstances. This control strategy is very appropriate for the digitally controlled power converter and for the system requirement accomplishment, resulting high output voltage accuracy. The performance degradation in practical implementation can be expected due to noise, pWM nonlinearities, and components imperfection. The digital simulation using MATHLAB/Simulink is performed to validate the functionality of the system.

Class of Service Support Layer for Wireless Mesh Networks

This paper presents an add-on Class of Service (CoS) layer for wireless mesh networks. The proposed protocol is applicable for contention-based MACs and is therefore compatible with most of the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) protocols. The protocol has a locally centralized control for managing data flows, which either reserve a fixed bandwidth or are weighted by fair scheduling. The protocol reduces transmission collisions, thus improving the overall throughput. IEEE 802.11 adhoc WLAN has been taken as a platform for simulations and prototyping for evaluating the protocol performance. Network Simulator Version 2 (NS2) simulations show that the CoS protocol efficiently differentiates bandwidth, supports bandwidth reservations, and reaches less than 10 ms transfer delay on IEEE 802.11b WLAN. Testing with a full prototype implementation verified the performance of the protocol.

BACKGROUNDGhrelin is an adipokine that plays an important role in energy balance. Expressionof ghrelin and ghrelin receptor has been investigated in different tissues andtumors. Studies regarding expression of ghrelin and ghrelin receptor in colorectaltumors are scarce and no data on expression of ghrelin and its receptor incolorectal adenomas has been published. Ghrelin and ghrelin receptor werehighly expressed in colon carcinoma cells while expression was decreased in lessdifferentiated tumors, presuming that ghrelin might be important in early phasesof *** investigate the expression of ghrelin and ghrelin receptor in human colorectaladenomas and adjacent colorectal *** this prospective study (conducted from June 2015 until May 2019) we included92 patients (64 male and 28 female) who underwent polypectomy for colorectaladenomas in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, “Sestre milosrdnice” Clinical Hospital Center in Zagreb, Croatia. After endoscopicremoval of colorectal adenoma, an additional sample of colon mucosa in theproximity of the adenoma was collected for pathohistological analysis. Adenomaswere graded according to the stage of dysplasia, and ghrelin and ghrelin receptorexpression were determined immunohistochemically in both adenoma andadjacent colon tissue using the polyclonal antibody for ghrelin (ab150514,ABCAM Inc, Cambridge, United States) and ghrelin receptor (ab48285, ABCAMInc, Cambridge, United States). Categorical and nominal variables were describedthrough frequencies and proportions and the difference between specific groupswere analyzed with Fisher’s and Fisher-Freeman-Halton’s method ***'s rank correlation coefficient was determined for correlation ofexpression of ghrelin and ghrelin receptor in adenoma and adjacent colon tissuewith the grade of adenoma *** 92 patients with colorectal adenoma 43 had adenomas with high-gradedysplasia (46.7%). 419名中国和德国被试参加了本研究,并回答了若干简式心理健康量表。所选的这套量表能对心理治疗不同阶段的效果(Howard’s阶段模型:重新认识期-转变期-康复期)进行测查。本研究目的在于考察这些简式量表能否用于认知-行为治疗跨文化培训项目中的质量管理。结果显示,这些量表在中德两种文化背景下都有很高的信度和效度(聚合效度和敏感性)。尽管项目间的高相关似乎提示心理健康模型只有一个维度,但探索性因素和理论分析则更支持心理健康是一个分为8个亚维度的模型,其中每个亚维度或者与基础情绪、或者与社会性情感相连关联。本文最后就研究结果及其对心理治疗质量控制的意义进行了详细讨论。
