BACKGROUNd Low grade fibromyxoid sarcoma(LGFMS)is a rare and benign mesenchymal tumor with indolent course,most commonly found in young or middle-aged *** majority of the LGFMSs are located in the trunk and deep soft tissue of the lower *** appear as well circumscribed,although not encapsulated,which often leads to incomplete surgical *** their seemingly benign appearance,these tumors have aggressive behavior with high metastatic and recurrence *** histopathologic examination of the specimen and its immunohistochemical analysis are mandatory for a precise *** SUMMARY We report a case of a 38 year-old-man who presented with jaundice and upper abdominal ***-detector computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging showed a large left liver tumor mass,extending to the hepatoduodenal *** hepatectomy was performed with resection and reconstruction of hepatic artery and preservation of middle hepatic *** examination confirmed the tumor being a low-grade fibromyxoid *** and a half years after surgery,the patient died after being diagnosed with spine *** due to poor response to all modalities of adjuvant treatment,we consider that the focus of treatment should be on surgery as the only option for curing the disease.

BACKGROUNd Women with a history of serious psychotic disorders are at increased risk of disease relapse during ***-acting injectable(LAI)antipsychotics have been widely used to improve adherence and prevent relapse in patients with various severe psychotic disorders,but there is a lack of high-quality data from previous research on the safety of LAI antipsychotics during *** To summarize relevant data on maternal,pregnancy,neonatal,and developmental outcomes from published cases of LAI antipsychotic use in *** A literature search was performed through November 11,2023,using three online databases:PubMed/MEdLINE,Scopus,and Web of *** reports or case series that reported information about the outcomes of pregnancy in women who used LAI antipsychotics at any point in pregnancy,with available full texts,were *** statistics,narrative summation,and tabulation of the extracted data were *** A total of 19 publications satisfied the inclusion criteria:3 case series,15 case reports,and 1 conference *** reported the outcomes of LAI antipsychotic use in 74 women and 77 *** use of secondgeneration LAI antipsychotics was reported in the majority(n=47;61.0%)of ***-generation LAI antipsychotics were administered during 30 pregnancies(39.0%).Most of the women(approximately 64%)had either satisfactory control of symptoms or no information about relapse,while approximately 12%of them had developed gestational diabetes mellitus.A minority of cases reported adverse outcomes such as stillbirth,spontaneous abortion,preterm birth,low birth weight,congenital anomalies,and neurological manifestations in ***,there were no reports of negative long-term developmental *** Currently available data seem reassuring,but further well-designed studies are required to properly evaluate the risks and benefits of LAI antipsychotic use during pregnancy.

Leaching of chalcopyrite with hydrogen peroxide in hydrochloric acid solution

The aim of this work was to investigate the leaching of chalcopyrite concentrate in hydrochloric acid with hydrogen peroxide as a strong oxidizing agent. The effects of the leaching variables on metal extraction, such as stirring speed, solid-to-liquid ratio, temperature and HCl and H2O2 concentrations, were studied. The maximum final copper extraction of 33% was attained with 3.0 mol/L H2O2 in 0.5 mol/L HCl at room temperature after 180 min of the reaction. The results showed that the copper extraction was increased in the first 60 min of reaction, after which it essentially ceased due to the fast catalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. Further, solid-to-liquid ratio affected the copper extraction significantly and the highest copper extraction was obtained in the most dilute suspension（i.e., S/L ratio of 1：100）. The dissolution process was described by the first order kinetics equation. The apparent activation energy of 19.6 k J/mol suggested that the dissolution process was under diffusion control. The reaction orders for HCl and H2O2 were established to be 0.30 and 0.53, respectively. The results of the XRd and SEM/EdS analysis of the leaching residue indicated the generation of the elemental sulphur on mineral surfaces which tended to inhibit the leaching rate.

Base lubricants for green stamping:The effects of their structure and viscosity on tribological performance

The requirements for green and sustainable manufacturing mean that stamping lubricants must be continuously re-evaluated and *** this investigation,the tribological performance of four base oils with different chemical structures(paraffinic and naphthenic)and viscosities(2 and 20 cSt),as well as water,was evaluated for the stamping of steel sheets and compared with a non-lubricated *** lubricants reduce the coefficient of friction and maintain a similar wear coefficient for steel sheets as in dry ***-viscosity(LV)naphthenic oil performs very like both high-viscosity(HV)oils.A surprising exception is the LV paraffinic oil,with several-times-higher friction and wear compared to dry *** is due to the excellent wetting-spreading and very low cohesion forces that enable oil to escape from extremely thin-film contacts because the viscosity is so low,leading to lubricant *** contrast,HV oils provide a sufficiently thick lubricating film,while strong cohesive forces help in the film’s strength,lessening wear,and reducing *** thin-film lubrication with LV oils,such as when stamping,it is thus extremely important that the lubricant’s wetting behaviour and viscosity are sufficient to provide enough film in the contact and prevent starvation,thus ensuring lower friction,less wear,and a longer lifetime of the contact.

differences in heavy metal tolerance among separate populations of the same species have often been interpreted as local adaptation. Persistence of differences after removing the stressor indicates that mechanisms responsible for the increased tolerance were genetically determined. drosophila subobscura Collin （diptera： drosophilidae） pop- ulations were sampled from two localities with different history of heavy metal pollution, and reared for eight generations in the laboratory on a standard medium and on media with different concentrations of lead （Pb）. To determine whether flies from different natural populations exposed to the Pb-contaminated media in the laboratory show population spe- cific variability in fitness components over generations, experimental groups with different concentrations of lead were assayed in three generations （F2, Fs, and Fs） for fecundity, de- velopmental time, and egg-to-adult viability. On the contaminated medium, fecundity was reduced in later generations and viability was increased, irrespective of the environmental origin of populations. For both populations, developmental time showed a tendency of slowing down on media with lead. Faster development was observed in later generations. Preadaptation to contamination, meaning higher fecundity, higher viability, and faster egg to adult development in all studied generations, was found in d. subobscura originating from the locality with a higher level of heavy metal pollution,

For the emerging peer-to-peer(P2P)lending markets to survive,they need to employ credit-risk management practices such that an investor base is profitable in the long ***,credit-risk management relies on credit scoring that predicts loans’probability of *** this paper,we use a profit scoring approach that is based on modeling the annualized adjusted internal rate of returns of *** validate our profit scoring models with traditional credit scoring models,we use data from a European P2P lending market,Bondora,and also a random sample of loans from the Lending Club P2P lending *** compare the out-of-sample accuracy and profitability of the credit and profit scoring models within several classes of statistical and machine learning models including the following:logistic and linear regression,lasso,ridge,elastic net,random forest,and neural *** found that our approach outperforms standard credit scoring models for Lending Club and Bondora *** specifically,as opposed to credit scoring models,returns across all loans are 24.0%(Bondora)and 15.5%(Lending Club)higher,whereas accuracy is 6.7%(Bondora)and 3.1%(Lending Club)higher for the proposed profit scoring ***,our results are not driven by manual selection as profit scoring models suggest investing in more ***,even if we consider data sampling bias,we found that the set of superior models consists almost exclusively of profit scoring ***,our results contribute to the literature by suggesting a paradigm shift in modeling credit-risk in the P2P market to prefer profit as opposed to credit-risk scoring models.

Genetic differentiation in functional traits among wild cherry (Prunus avium L.) half-sib lines

Understanding intra-specific variation in leaf functional traits is one of the key requirements for the evaluation of species adaptive capacity to ongoing climate change, as well as for designing long-term breeding and conservation strategies. Hence, data of 19 functional traits describing plant physiology, antioxidant properties, anatomy and morphology were determined on 1-year-old seedlings of wild cherry (Prunus avium L.) half-sib lines. The variability within and among half-sib lines, as well as the estimation of multi-trait association, were examined using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey's honestly significant difference test and multivariate analyses: principal component analysis (PCA), canonical discriminant analysis (CdA) and stepwise discriminant analysis (SdA). Pearson’s correlation coefficient was used to evaluate linear correlation between the study parameters. The results of the ANOVA showed the presence of statistically significant differences (P dy traits. The differences within half-sib lines, observed through the contribution of the examined sources of variation to the total variance (%), had higher impact on total variation in the majority of the examined traits. Pearson’s correlation analysis and PCA showed strong relationships between gas exchange in plants and leaf size and stomatal density, as well as between leaf biomass accumulation, intercellular CO_(2) concentration and parameters related to antioxidant capacity of plants. Likewise, the results of SdA indicate that transpiration and stomatal conductance contributed to the largest extent, to the discrimination of the wild cherry half-sib lines. In addition, PCA and CdA showed separation of the wild cherry half-sib lines along the first principal component and first canonical variable with regards to humidity of their original sites.
