In case of restrictive defense budget financing, efficient and effective use of funds is now more than ever becoming a crucial question in functioning of the Ministry of Defense and Serbian Armed Forces （MoD and SAF）. Any investment in acquisition of arms and military equipment （AME） due to financial significance does not allow mistakes in decision making. Qualitative analysis of cost of assets through the entire programmed lifecycle is a complex multi-disciplinary and multi-criteria problem whose solving requires application of the model multi-criteria optimization. In our operational practice thus far, solving the said problems there wasn＇t enough the model multi-criteria optimization so the optimal results were lacking. In this paper investment process of AME in the MoD and SAF was analyzed, from the point of cost treatment in the process, its flaws have been pointed out and a more comprehensive - integrated approach has been suggested.

On tempered and square integrable representations of classical p-adic groups

This paper has two aims. The first is to give a description of irreducible tempered representations of classical p-adic groups which follows naturMly the classification of irreducible square integrable representations modulo cuspidal data obtained by Mceglin and the author of this article （2002）. The second aim of the paper is to give a description of an invariant （partially defined function） of irreducible square integrable representation of a classical p-adic group （defined by Mceglin using embeddings） in terms of subquotients of Jacquet modules. As an application, we describe behavior of partially defined function in one construction of square integrable representations of a bigger group from such representations of a smaller group （which is related to deformation of Jordan blocks of representations）.

The requirements for green and sustainable manufacturing mean that stamping lubricants must be continuously re-evaluated and *** this investigation,the tribological performance of four base oils with different chemical structures(paraffinic and naphthenic)and viscosities(2 and 20 cSt),as well as water,was evaluated for the stamping of steel sheets and compared with a non-lubricated *** lubricants reduce the coefficient of friction and maintain a similar wear coefficient for steel sheets as in dry ***-viscosity(LV)naphthenic oil performs very like both high-viscosity(HV)oils.A surprising exception is the LV paraffinic oil,with several-times-higher friction and wear compared to dry *** is due to the excellent wetting-spreading and very low cohesion forces that enable oil to escape from extremely thin-film contacts because the viscosity is so low,leading to lubricant *** contrast,HV oils provide a sufficiently thick lubricating film,while strong cohesive forces help in the film’s strength,lessening wear,and reducing *** thin-film lubrication with LV oils,such as when stamping,it is thus extremely important that the lubricant’s wetting behaviour and viscosity are sufficient to provide enough film in the contact and prevent starvation,thus ensuring lower friction,less wear,and a longer lifetime of the contact.
