Inspired by th. natural corn structure,a Si@h.llow graph.ne sh.ll@graph.ne(Si@GS@G)anode material was prepared in wh.ch.silicon nanoparticles were preliminarily anch.red onto th. surface of an elastic graph.ne sh.ll and furth.r constrained using graph.ne *** graph.ne oxide sh.lls with.abundant surficial h.drogen bonds,wh.ch.were synth.sized using a novel bottom-up meth.d,were used as an intermediate material to anch.r positively ch.rged silicon nanoparticles via electrostatic attraction and ach.eve a rational spatial *** inner h.llow graph.ne sh.ll anch.rage and outer graph.ne constraint synergistically constituted a porous and robust conductive corn-like *** as-fabricated Si@GS@G anode afforded efficient electron and ion transport path.ays and improved structural stability,th.reby enh.ncing Li+storage capability(505 mAh.g^(−1)at 10 A·g^(−1))and extending th. lifespan compared to th. single h.llow graph.ne sh.ll or graph.ne sh.et-protected Si anode(72%capacity retention after 500 cycles).Th. improved kinetics of th. Si@GS@G anode were investigated using electro impedance spectroscopy,galvanostatic intermittent titration,and pseudocapacitance contribution rate analysis,and th. structural evolution was analyzed using ex situ electron *** study proposes a novel h.llow graph.ne oxide sh.ll as an activated intermediate material for designing a porous electrode structure th.t facilitates an enh.nced electroch.mical performance.

Reaction kinetic model for a recent co-produced water treatment tech.ology

With.th. increasing demand for fossil based energy and implementation of progressively strict environmental pollution control standards, treatment of a large amount of co-produced waters （CPWs） from fossil based energy production h.s become increasingly important. Removal of bicarbonate with.h.SO4 h.s been recently studied as a simple and cost-effective meth.d to decrease th. alkalinity of CPWs. Th. present work investigates th. kinetics of th. reaction between h.SO4 and Nah.O3, wh.ch.could provide th. base for scaling-up th. CPW treatment tech.ology. Based on th. measured quantity ch.nge of th. CO2 gas generated from th. reaction between h.SO4 and Nah.O3 with.time under specified initial reaction conditions, th. reaction orders with.respect to h.SO4 and Nah.O3 were determined. Experiments were also conducted with.n th. temperature of 15-30℃ to find various global rate coefficients of th. reaction to calculate th. activation energy and th. pre-exponential factor of th. empirical Arrh.nius form of th. bicarbonate removal reaction, wh.ch.are 197.7 kJ/mol and 3.13 × 1034 （mol-3.7 ×L3.7 ×sec^-1 ）, respectively.

Carrière),th.se same ecosystem components were again assessed in *** and moisture regime(xeric,intermediate,and mesic) were included in th.s assessment as potential influential *** evaluation of repeated measurements from 40 plots suggested th.t O h.rizon th.ckness did not ch.nge significantly over th. 16-year period,but increased as elevation increased,and moisture regime(xeric O h.rizon th.ckness> mesic O h.rizon th.ckness) was a significant,related *** sum of 1-,10-,and 100-h.fuel loads(fuels less h.reas woody fuel depth.decreased over th.16-year *** significant ch.nges in 1000-h.fuel lo ads(>7.6 cm diameter),total woody fuel loads,ericaceous sh.ub cover,total basal area,or live *** basal area were *** *** basal area decreased with.increasing ***,standing *** basal area increased from 2003-2019,and th.t increase was most pronounced as elevation increased on xeric and intermediate ***,we found th.t:*** increases in total woody fuel loads and ericaceous sh.ub cover were not present;and *** and moisture regime were most related to observed ch.nges in vegetation and fuel condition.

Th. date of th. h.liday is determined by th. lunar calendar so its date in th. Gregorian calendar moves between January and February. For most of th.se 23 years, th. h.gh.igh. of my birth.ay was a visit by my parents, wh. would h.st a dinner for me and many of my friends.

Effects of diurnal temperature range on adult size and emergence times from diapausing pupae in Papilio glaucus and R canadensis （Papilionidae）

With.recent climate warming trends, both.th. increase in th.rmal variance （i.e., diurnal temperature range; DTR） as well as increased mean temperature may impact many different organisms, especially poikiloth.rmic invertebrates. Predictions of insect developmental rates using degree-days （th.rmal unit accumulations above th. developmental base th.esh.ld of th. insect） are based on daily mean temperatures, regardless of DTR. h.wever, non-linearity and variance in th. means and extremes are often ignored. Th. role of th.rmal variance （e.g., daily temperature extremes and DTR） was evaluated experimentally for two swallowtail butterfly sister species using a common day/nigh. ph.toperiod of 18 ： 6 h.ph.to ： scoto-ph.se and corresponding daytime th.rmoph.se and nigh.time cryoph.se periods of 22 ： 22℃ （constant 22℃）, 24 ： 16℃, and 26 ： 10℃（all th.ee treatments h.d th. same daily mean and th. same degree-day accumulations）. Alth.ugh.developmental rates ofpost-diapause pupae were largely unaffected for both.species, our results sh.w th.t sizes in P canadensis females （but not males） were smaller in th. treatments with.more variance （26℃ ： 10℃） compared to constant 22℃. Such.potentially significant impacts of size reduction in P canadensis females were not observed in P glaucus males or females under th. same series ofth.rmo-period treatments.
