Objective:To evaluate the prevalence of nymphal stages of L serrata in mesenteric lymph nodes of camels slaughtered in Mashhad slaughterhouse,Northeast of ***:For this purpose, mesenteric lymph nodes of 400 camels of different sex and age were *** lymph nodes were examined macroscopically and a digestion method was also applied for investigation of samples which was negative ***:The mesenteric lymph nodes of 73 camels out of 400(18.25%) were infected by L serrata ***:Prevalence of L. serrata nymphs in males and females and different age was not significantly different(P>0.05), but difference was observed between the prevalence in different seasons(P< 0.05).The potential importance of these findings to human health is *** is the first report of infection with L serrate of camels in camels slaughtered at northeast of Iran.

AIM： To examine the frequency of antibiotic resistance in Iranian Helicobacter pylori （ H pylon） strains isolated from two major hospitals in Tehran.METHODS： Examination of antibiotic resistance was performed on 120 strains by modified disc diffusion test and PCR-RFLP methods. In addition, in order to identify the possible causes of the therapeutic failure in Iran, we also determined the resistance of these strains to the most commonly used antibiotics （metronidazole, amoxicillin, and tetracycline） by modified disc diffusion test. RESULTS： According to modified disc diffusion test, 1.6% of the studied strains were resistant to amoxicillin, 16.7% to clarithromycin, 57.5% to metronidazole, and there was no resistance to tetracycline. Of the clarithromycin resistant strains, 73.68% had the A2143G mutation in the 23SrRlVA gene, 21.05% A2142C, and 5.26% A2142G. None of the sensitive strains were positive for any of the three point mutations. Of the metronidazole resistant strains, deletion in rdxA gene was studied and detected in only 6 （5%） of the antibiogram-based resistant strains. None of the metronidazole sensitive strains possessed rdxA gene deletion. CONCLUSION： These data show that despite the fact that clarithromycin has not yet been introduced to the Iranian drug market as a generic drug, nearly 20% rate of resistance alerts toward the frequency of macrolide resistance strains, which may be due to the widespread prescription of erythromycin in Iran. rdxA gene inactivation, if present in Iranian Hpyloristrains, may be due to other genetic defects rather than gene deletion.

Cystic dystrophy of the duodenal wall is a rare condition characterized by the development of cysts in heterotopic pancreatic tissue localized in the duodenal wall.A 38-year- old man was admitted to the hospital for abdominal pain and vomiting after food *** diagnosis of acute pancreatitis was initially *** ultrasound examination revealed thickening of the second portion of duodenal wall within which,small cysts(diameter,less than 1 cm)were present in the vicinity of pancreatic head. The head of pancreas appeared enlarged(63 mm×42 mm) and *** endoscopy and barium X-ray series were performed revealing a severe circumferential deformation,as well as 4 cm long stenosis of the second portion of the *** examination revealed multiple cysts located in an enlarged,thickened duodenal wall with moderate to strong post-contrast *** suspected that patient had cystic dystrophy of duodenal wall developed in the heterotopic pancreas and diagnosis was confirmed by endoscopic ultrasound(EUS).Endoscopic ultrasound(EUS)revealed circular stenosis from the duodenal bulb onwards.A twenty megahertz mini-prope examination further showed diffuse(intramural)infiltration of duodenal wall limited to the submucosa and muscularis propria of the second portion of duodenum with multiple microcysts within the thickened mucosa and *** was successfully surgically treated and pancreatoduodenectomy was *** pathological examination confirmed a diagnosis of cystic dystrophy of a heterotopic pancreas. Endoscopic ultrasonography features allow preoperative diagnosis of cystic dystrophy of a heterotopic pancreas in duodenal wall,with intralumina120 MHz mini probe sonography being more efficient in cases of luminal stenosis.

Lathosterolosis is a very rare autosomal recessive cholesterol metabolism disorder. The disease manifests itself with developmental and mental delays, learning disabilities, microcephaly, facial dysmorphism, bilateral cataracts, and skeletal defects. It is caused by the deficiency of the enzyme sterol-C5-desaturase, which is involved in cholesterol biosynthesis. This deficiency prevents the synthesis of cholesterol, which acts as a precursor for lipid, bile acids, and steroid hormones. Until 2020, only 7 cases had been reported. In this case report, it was aimed to plan and implement the nursing care of a 2-year-old boy diagnosed with lathosterolosis with the diagnoses of the North American Nursing Diagnostic Association (NANDA).

In the present work,paraffin phase change material is used as quenchant for the heat treatment of 42CrMo4 alloy and compared with water,air,and CuO doped *** samples were prepared based on ASTM E 8M-98 standard for tensile test and then heated up to 830°C,kept for 4 h in an electric resistance furnace and then quenched in the mentioned *** modulus,yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,elongation,and modulus of toughness were determined according to the obtained stress?strain ***,the hardness and microstructural evolution were investigated after the heat treatment at different *** samples quenched in paraffin and CuO-doped paraffin are higher in ultimate tensile strength(1439 and 1306 MPa,respectively)than those quenched in water(1190 MPa)and air(1010 MPa).The highest hardness,with a value of HV 552,belonged to the sample quenched in CuO-doped *** microstructural studies revealed that the non-tempered steel had a ferrite/pearlite microstructure,while by quenching in water,paraffin and CuO-doped paraffin,ferrite/martensite microstructures were *** is also observed that using the air as quenchant resulted in a three-phase bainite/martensite/ferrite microstructure.

Vesicovaginal fistula （VVF） may be caused by prolonged obstructed labor, gynecologic, urologic, or other pelvic surgery, malignancy, radiation, infection and trauma. Here we report a case of VVF caused by nail penetrating trauma in a young woman with genital bleeding after first intercourse. This is a rare etiology of VVF. We also explain the operative technique used to repair the fistula.

The combination of the relatively open plant canopy and slow growth,especially at early growth stages,results in lower competitiveness of black seed(Nigella sativa L.) than ***,weed interference is known as an important factor affecting black seed ***,to determine the critical period of weed control and its effects on nutrients uptake of black seed field experiments were conducted in 2011 and *** quantitative series of weed removal treatments including weed-infested and weed-free treatments were implemented from black seed emergence to maturity *** determine critical period of weed control,plots were weed-infested or weed-free for 0,14,28,42,56,70 days after emergence,in weed-infested and weed-free treatments,*** results revealed that N,P and K contents in weed tissues significantly increased with increasing weed-infested periods during both years of the *** reduction in grain and oil yield due to longer periods of weed-infested conditions or shorter periods of weed-free conditions were accompanied by simultaneous reduction of N,P and K uptake in black seed grains and ***,N,P and K contents in weed tissue were found to be 1.8 to 2 times higher than that of black *** was concluded that 58 or 49 days weed-free periods are required to avoid yield loss(above 5% or 10%) in black seed.

Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)refers to a group of disorders characterized by chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal(GI)*** elevated levels of nitric oxide(NO)in serum and affected tissues;mainly synthesized by the inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)enzyme;can exacerbate GI inflammation and is one of the major biomarkers of GI *** natural and synthetic agents are able to ameliorate GI inflammation and decrease iNOS expression to the extent comparable with some IBD ***,the purpose of this study was to gather a list of natural or synthetic mediators capable of modulating IBD through the NO *** databases including Google Scholar and PubMed were searched from 1980 to May *** found that polyphenols and particularly flavonoids are able to markedly attenuate NO production and iNOS expression through the nuclear factorκB(NF-κB)and JAK/STAT signaling *** and probiotics can also alter the GI microbiota and reduce NO expression in IBD models through a broad array of mechanisms.A number of synthetic molecules have been found to suppress NO expression either dependent on the NF-κB signaling pathway(i.e.,dexamethasone,pioglitazone,tropisetron)or independent from this pathway(i.e.,nicotine,prednisolone,celecoxib,β-adrenoceptor antagonists).Co-administration of natural and synthetic agents can affect the tissue level of NO and may improve IBD symptoms mainly by modulating the Toll like receptor-4 and NF-κB signaling pathways.
