The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

The microstructure, texture and mechanical property evolution of the extruded Mg-x Y(x = 1, 5 wt.%) alloys during equal channel angular pressing(ECAP) were systematically investigated using an optical microscope, electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) and uniaxial tensile test. The Mg-Y alloys exhibited a weakened basal texture before the ECAP, and the texture was further weakened with the max basal poles dispersed along ~45° between the extrusion direction and the transverse direction after the ECAP. The Mg-5 Y alloys always exhibited a finer grain size comparing to that of Mg-1 Y for the same ECAP process. With a proper ECAP process, both the strength and elongation of Mg-5 Y alloy could be improved simultaneously after the ECAP, i.e., the yield strength(273.9 ± 1.2 MPa), ultimate strength(306.4 ± 3.0 MPa),and elongation(23.9 ± 1.0%) were increased by 10%, 6%, and 72%, respectively, comparing to that before the ECAP. This was considered to be arose from the combined effects of grain refinement, significant improved microstructure homogeneity and solid solution *** addition, it was found that Mg-Y alloy with better comprehensive properties could be obtained by the decreasing-temperature ECAP processes. The yield strength-grain size relationship could be well described by the hall-Petch relation for all the ECAPed Mg-Y alloys,which was consistent with that the texture changes did not significantly affect the average Schmid factors of basal, prismatic and pyramidal slips for both Mg-Y alloys.

当苜蓿群体密度降低时,每株的茎数会增加,这可补偿因密度下降至引起的产量下降。当密度降致临界以下时,这种补偿就不足以维持原有的产量水平。细胞分裂素能促进其植物茎的生长,本研究的目的是研究细胞分裂素对苜蓿生长发育、产量、质量的影响。使用2种细胞分裂素:激动素和6-苄基腺嘌呤(BAP),以不同浓度叶面喷施不同密度的苜蓿。试验表明,使用细胞分裂素后增加了单株茎数、茎长、单株叶面积。这与产量的增加呈正相关(r>0.74)。使用细胞分裂素后,单株干重(DM),在温室试验中增加35％,在大田增加79％。这种促进作用在高密度和低密度群体中效果相似。在温室试验中,刈割后3d和7d利用的产量分别比刈割后立即利用减产9％和15％。在大田中施用细胞分裂素品质未受影响,但在温室的试验中品质下降(粗蛋白平均减少13g/kg,酸性纤维增加29g/kg)。使用细胞分裂素于苜蓿残茬上能增加每株茎数和干物质,这可能是大田生产上增产的一种方法。

通过室内摄食实验,研究了栉孔扇贝(Chlamys farreri)对麻痹性贝毒(PSP)产毒藻的敏感性及其累积和排出毒素的特征.有毒微小亚历山大藻(Alexandrium min-utum)在短时间内可对栉孔扇贝的摄食有一定的抑制作用,且投喂毒藻的浓度越大,对摄食作用的抑制越明显.栉孔扇贝对PSP贝毒的累积能力很强,实验中,48 h后内脏累积毒素就高达5000μgSTXeq100g^(-1),但其毒素排出速率较慢,在24d解毒阶段后内脏中的毒素还没有下降至国际贝毒食用安全标准水平的80μg STXeq 100g^(-1).各毒素组成比在整个累积与排除过程中有较大变化,GTX1,GTX4在累积阶段比例下降,同时GTX2,GTX3比例上升;内脏中GTX2:GTX3的比值逐渐增加.毒藻中PSP贝毒毒素组成和贝体中PSP贝毒毒素组成之间的主要差别是GTX4含量的减少和GTX1含量的升高;而扇贝粪便中的毒素组成却与对数生长期的毒藻极为接近.

Loss of tau expression attenuates neurodegeneration associated with α-synucleinopathy

Background: Neuronal dysfunction and degeneration linked to α-synuclein (αS) pathology is thought to be responsible for the progressive nature of Parkinson’s disease and related dementia with Lewy bodies. Studies have indicated bidirectional pathological relationships between αS pathology and tau abnormalities. We recently showed that A53T mutant human αS (huαS) can cause post-synaptic and cognitive deficits that require microtubule-associated protein tau expression. however, the role of tau in the development of αS pathology and subsequent neuronal dysfunction has been controversial. herein, we set out to determine the role of tau in the onset and progression of αS pathology (α-synucleinopathy) using a transgenic mouse model of α-synucleinopathy lacking mouse tau expression. Methods: Transgenic mice expressing A53T mutant huαS (TgA53T) were crossed with mTau−/− mice to generate TgA53T/mTau−/−. To achieve more uniform induction of α-synucleinopathy in mice, we used intramuscular injections of αS preformed fibrils (PFF) in non-transgenic (nTg), TgA53T, TgA53T/mTau−/−, and mTau−/− mice. Motor behavior was analyzed at 70 days post inoculation (dpi) of PFF and tissues for biochemical and neuropathological analysis were collected at 40 dpi, 70 dpi, and end stage. Results: Loss of tau expression significantly delayed the onset of motor deficits in the TgA53T model and the progression of α-synucleinopathy disease, as evidenced by a significant reduction in histopathological and behavioral markers of neurodegeneration and disease, and a significant improvement in survival. In vitro application of PFF to primary mouse hippocampal neurons demonstrated no changes in PFF uptake and processing or pS129 αS aggregation as a function of tau expression. however, PFF-induced neurotoxicity, including morphological deficits in nTg neurons, was prevented with tau removal.
