Dear Editor, Carcinoid tumors have been described in a large range of organs, but they most commonly involve the gastrointestinal and bronchopulmonary systems.1 These tumors of the testis are rare entity comprising 〈1% of all testis tumors and can arise as a metastasis from an extratesticular primary as a part of a teratoma or as primary tumor.2 Patients affected by carcinoid tumors present symptoms of carcinoid syndrome, such as diarrhea, flushings, and bronchospasm.3 We report a first case described in scientific literature of primary bilateral synchronous testicular carcinoid tumor that does not associated with carcinoid syndrome. In this paper, the essential role played by tie Tibetan Plateau in the formation of large scale low level jet over China is shown. Using the ECMWF limited area model we have performed some numerical experiments with various modified orography for a real case. The comparison of no-mountain run with the control one shows that the Plateau acts as a west boundary to the flows from the south, thus helping concentrate the momentum in a narrow belt. The close connection between the jet and the monsoon current is also investigated. The confluence of the currents from the subtropical high and mid-latitude trough mainly results in the strong wind centre at mid-troposphere rather than at lower level.

The ability to accurately characterize projects novel project characteristic is developed characteristic, called project regularity, is essential to good project management. Therefore, a reflects the value accrue within a project. This expressed in terms of the newly introduced regular/irregular-indicator RI. The widely accepted management system of earned value management （EVM） forms the basis for evaluation of the new characteristic. More concretely, the influence of project regularity on EVMforecasting accuracy is assessed, and is shown to be significant for both time and cost forecasting. Moreover, this effect appears to be stronger than that of the widely used characteristic of project seriality expressed by the serial/parallel-indicator SP. Therefore, project regularity could also be useful as an input parameter for project network generators. Furthermore, the introduction of project regularity can provide project managers with a more accurate indication of the time and cost forecasting accuracy that is to be expected for a certain project and, correspondingly, of how a project should be built up in order to obtain more reliable forecasts during project control.

Purple rice is a source of bioactive antioxidants for rice consumers. Loss of the major antioxidant compounds after a range of cooking processes was evaluated by measuring the changes in anthocyanin concentration （ATC） and antioxidant capacity （DPPH activity） of four non-glutinous and four glutinous genotypes. However, soaking in water prior to cooking generally decreased more ATC and antioxidant capacity in non-glutinous than in glutinous genotypes. Wet cooking （WC） and soaking before wet cooking （S-WC） led to lose almost all the ATC and antioxidant capacity with only slight variation between genotypes. In the glutinous genotype Pieisu, which had the highest raw rice ATC, ATC remained the highest when cooked by the WC method. By contrast, almost no ATC remained after WC and S-WC in the low ATC genotypes such as Kum Doi Saket. Overall, the loss of ATC was greater in non-glutinous than in glutinous genotypes for both WC and S-WC methods, but the reverse occurred for antioxidant capacity. WC using electric rice cooker retained higher ATC than the pressure cooking. Thus, for genotypes with high ATC and antioxidant capacity, the selection of cooking method is critical for retaining and stabilizing rice quality.

The renewable energy source(RES)penetration in end use must be strengthened to reach the prefixed decarbonization targets.A penetration obstacle is represented by the Power Grid,designed with an architecture disinclined to RES ***,different solutions are available to integrate these latter issues without affecting the Grid,among these,the reversible Solid Oxide Cell(rSOC)promises high efficiencies and the possibility to control energy fluxes in both production and *** this study,a series of hourly simulations based on real data were designed to evaluate the rSOC capacity to integrate a large number of RESs in the end use of three different buildings,through analyzing the possible congestion on the Power *** a rSOC model we chose the Smart Energy Hub proposed by Sylfen while for the buildings we selected a school,a hotel,and an office located in Procida,*** results show the rSOC capacity to integrate RES increased from 40%to 62%according to the storage capacity and the building’s hourly load curve and seasonal consumptions.
