We tested for the effects of latitude and geographic range size(GRS)on body size,leg length,and sexual size dimorphism(SSD)across 103 species ofﬂeas,taking into account phylogenetic between-species *** the data on body size were combined for males and females,the positive correlation between body size and latitude,but not GRS,was *** the analysis was restricted to one sex only,the effect of latitude appeared to be non-signiﬁcant for females,whereas male body size increased with an increase in ***ﬁc body size variation was not associated with either the latitude or the latitudinal span of the geographic range,independently of which data subset was *** evidence of association between size-independent tibia length and latitude was found for either females,males,or both sexes *** degree of SSD decreased with a decrease in latitude but was not affected by *** conclude that macroecological patterns might be manifested differently in males and *** should be kept in mind while searching for these patterns.

Real-time applications based on Wireless Sensor network(WSn)tech-nologies are quickly increasing due to intelligent *** the most signiﬁcant resources in the WSn are battery power and *** stra-tegies improve the power factor and secure the WSn *** takes more electricity to forward data in a *** numerous clustering methods have been developed to provide energy consumption,there is indeed a risk of unequal load balancing,resulting in a decrease in the network’s lifetime due to network inequalities and less *** possibilities arise due to the cluster head’s limited life *** cluster heads(CH)are in charge of all activities and con-trol intra-cluster and inter-cluster *** proposed method uses Lifetime centric load balancing mechanisms(LCLBM)and Cluster-based energy optimiza-tion using a mobile sink algorithm(CEOMS).LCLBM emphasizes the selection of CH,system architectures,and optimal distribution of *** addition,the LCLBM was added with an assistant cluster head(ACH)for load *** consumption,communications latency,the frequency of failing nodes,high security,and one-way delay are essential variables to consider while evaluating *** will choose a cluster leader based on the inﬂuence of the fol-lowing parameters on the energy balance of *** to simulatedﬁnd-ings,the suggested LCLBM-CEOMS method increases cluster head selection self-adaptability,improves the network’s lifetime,decreases data latency,and bal-ances network capacity.

Pancreatic transection from blunt trauma associated with vascular and biliary lesions: A case report

Major injuries of the pancreas may result in considerable morbidity and mortality when associated with vascular and visceral injuries. In such cases, a right diagnosis and a prompt surgical intervention are necessary to give a chance to the patient. We herein describe a case of blunt abdominal trauma in a 29-year- old man whose pancreatic rupture was associated with hepatic artery, splenic vein and extrahepatic bile duct damage. Immediate surgery was performed after computer tomograghy (CT), the haemorrhagic lesions dictat the emergency transfer to the operating room. Spleno-pancreatic resection was done with reconstruction of the hepatic artery, ligation of the splenic vein and a Roux-en-Y bilio-jejunal diversion. The early post-operative course was complicated by stenosis of the arterial reconstruction, which was treated by endovascular angioplasty followed by percutaneous drainage of symptomatic pseudocyst, rest and antibiotics. Finally, the patient was discharged and was alive without clinical problems at the time when we wrote this case report. The present case underlines the clinical relevance of vascular and visceral injuries associated with pancreatic trauma and the problems arising in the diagnostic evaluation and the surgical strategy of complex multiple visceral and vascular lesions in blunt abdominal trauma.

Plant diseases prediction is the essential technique to prevent the yield loss and gain high production of agricultural *** monitoring of plant health continuously and detecting the diseases is a signiﬁcant for sustainable *** system to monitor the diseases in plant is time consuming and report a lot of *** is high demand for technology to detect the plant dis-eases *** image processing approach and deep learning approach are highly invited in detection of plant *** diseases like late blight,bacterial spots,spots on Septoria leaf and yellow leaf curved are widely found in *** are the main reasons to affects the plants life and *** identify the diseases earliest,our research presents the hybrid method by com-bining the region based convolutional neural network(RCnn)and region based fully convolutional networks(RFCn)for classifying the *** the leaf images of plants are collected and preprocessed to remove noisy data in *** data normalization,augmentation and removal of background noises are *** images are divided as testing and training,training images are fed as input to deep learning ***,we identify the region of interest(RoI)by using selective *** every region,feature of convolutional neural network(Cnn)is extracted independently for further classiﬁ*** plants such as tomato,potato and bell pepper are taken for this *** plant input image is analyzed and classify as healthy plant or unhealthy *** the image is detected as unhealthy,then type of diseases the plant is affected will be *** proposed technique achieves 98.5%of accuracy in predicting the plant diseases.

In the last two decades, unprecedented changes have taken place in the frequency and severity of wildfires;in different regions of the world, some fires were even classified as megafires. Although there are studies about the diverse effects of fire, which have made significant theoretical contributions, a comprehensive review of the changes in fire research is required to understand worldwide patterns, particularly in those countries where fire activity is on the rise, such is the case of Mexico. The objective of this study was to analyze the trends in the research on wildfires published in Mexico and worldwide over a 40-year timescale. For this purpose, the Web of Science database, bibliometric tools, and the keywords TI = Forest fire* OR TI = Wildfire* were used to extract as many articles as possible related to fires from 1980 to 2020, without being restricted to those studies whose title included any of the variants of the keywords. There were 8458 publications about fires in the vegetation cover, with a notable increase in the frequency of studies in the previous decade;52% of the studies were concentrated in five countries and 20% of the articles focused on the study of different aspects of the soil. Mexico ranks thirteenth in volume of scientific production and studies in the country have focused mainly on the description of the quantitative relationship between the size of the affected area and the number of occurrences in the landscape, meanwhile, studies on fires and the consequences on the biotic interactions have been little explored.

nannochloropsis is rapidly emerging as a model organism for the study of biofuel production in ***, we report a high-quality genomic assembly of nannochloropsis gaditana, consisting of large contigs, up to 500 kbplong, and scaffolds that in most cases span the entire length of the chromosomes. We identified 10646 complete genesand characterized possible alternative transcripts. The annotation of the predicted genes and the analysis of cellular pro-cesses revealed traits relevant for the genetic improvement of this organism such as genes involved in DnA recombina-tion, RnA silencing, and cell wall synthesis. We also analyzed the modification of the transcriptional profile in nitrogendeficiencyma condition known to stimulate lipid accumulation. While the content of lipids increased, we did not detectmajor changes in expression of the genes involved in their biosynthesis. At the same time, we observed a very signifi-cant down-regulation of mitochondrial gene expression, suggesting that part of the AcetyI-CoA and nAD（P）H, normallyoxidized through the mitochondrial respiration, would be made available for fatty acids synthesis, increasing the fluxthrough the lipid biosynthetic pathway.
